well tbf the most powerful magical item was at his disposal so it makes sense they needed to team up. what doesn't make sense at all is the fact he can use the cauldron without any reprocussions while basically no one can wield the dread trove(items that come from the cauldron)🙄 these inconsistentcies make it extremely hard to powerscale the characters and it's another prove how bad of a writer sjm actually is lol

POWER SCALING OF ACOTAR CHARACTERS:

1. NESTA ARCHERON - as a human was able to resist powers of high lord, her powers shook the world, stopped time itself, brought two(three technically) faes back to life, killed true immortal, wields the trove, killed the wyrm thing and now one of the best feats of the entire maas verse: KILLED AN ASTERI

2. AMREN - her unleashing her true form ended the war with hybern, super old and powerful, she has other feats but idk don't like her enough to thing about it

3. RHYSAND - his powers made mountain shook, misted hundred of soldiers(btw this isnt really that good of a feat as majority of yall think), has proven he has an edge against the other high lords, his best feat(top five acotar feats): repaired the cauldron with the help of feyre

4. FEYRE ARCHERON - as a human killed the mydgard wyrm thing (the best BIQ feat of acotar, arguably the whole maas verse), with months of training she was able to use her daemati powers well enough for them to work on high lord, definitely the most potential in acotar(can see her climbing to #2 in the future), all her powers give her an edge against the other high lords, her best feat: repaired the cauldron with the help of rhysand

5. ALL THE OTHER HIGH LORDS - self explanatory

6. HEIRS OF HIGH LORDS - self explanatory

7. AZRIEL - one of the two most formidable warriors of night court, shadowsinger abilities give him the edge against cassian

8. CASSIAN - self explanatory

sometimes i wonder what would happen if nesta didn't take from cauldron and just let it give her powers and now I also started pondering on what it would mean regarding the end of hofas

HOFAS SPOILERS later

like i highly doubt she would end up just a regular high fae. cauldron LOVES elain and gave her cunty powers, so i think it's sentience would recognize the love nesta has for elain and how she innately acts as her protector so she would still receive crazy powers.

but i believe her taking its power was essential for her to become future high lady of dusk court. cauldron is tied with the world of prythian itself so by taking from it she literally gained power from the world/land. what other faes are connected to the land of their courts? high motheyucking lords.

that's not all though. high lords possess significant more magic than other high faes, they can literally go insane if they don't use certain amount daily. so even if just getting starsword from bryce was all that was needed for her to become high lady of dusk, i don't think her body would be able to withstand it. but luckily cauldrons magic had already made indentation, now that majority of it is gone, theres hole ready to be filled with the magic of the dusk court land.

i think in the next acotar book we will see her slowly coming to the realization she's slowly becoming a high lady. it will probably start with her either killing all the beings in prison or recruiting them. after that she will probably notice that prison responds to her the same way as it did for bryce and she'll change it back to it's original glory as a palace. she might get a new power but I highly doubt that(death is probably the power of dusk court, since dawn has the healing). then what happened in avallen or whatever it's called happens to dusk court territory and all of her power manifests. and boom we have high lady of dusk court in her full glory.

no, nobara is not weak wtf like stop with this narrative. the reason she loses her fights with haruta and mahito is because of carelessness (one could argue caused by cockiness). haruta is able to hit her because she thinks she killed him. and reasonably so. mahito is able to touch her because she let her guards down after having the upper hand. it has nothing to do with her being weak pleek.
