Finn is literally the one truly original and innovative character in the sequel trilogy. Dashing pilot? Been done in the OT and the prequels. Force sensitive orphan living on a desert planet? Been done to the death in both previous trilogies. Force sensitive stormtrooper who breaks through his brainwashing, escapes his oppressors then helps free the galaxy from them? THAT's fresh, innovative, bold! If only racism didn't rot people's brain... If only people of color had been allowed to work on the sequels instead of boring white people... What we could have had.

We gotta talk about Bridgerton. Massive spoilers coming.

1st: great show, love it. Not saying anyone shouldn't watch it.

Next: Daphne violated Simon's consent and no one is acknowledging that shit. She knows he isn't cumming inside her on purpose and she pins him inside her. This is a horrific violation of trust and an act of sexual violence. Then she severs the relationship.

Next: Marina is unfairly vilified the whole show (which is kind of the point) but the point being made is seriously undermined by her ending. She loses literally everything and gets nothing but economic comfort. Meanwhile Pen, the arguably more immoral of the 2, finds herself more or less in the same position as the beginning. It would've been better is George had been alive or if she'd married Colin. Her love story with Colin would've made an excellent thread for season 2. How do they deal with the baby and family? Can she earn his trust and love back?

Next: it being Pen instead of that fantastic woman makes sense, but is boring, especially since it was revealed. We literally never see Pen being intelligent or writing or gossiping.

Next: The Fat Girl deserves a love story where a man sees her and immediately adores her instead of a guy who is friends with her for years and "suddenly" realizes how lovely she is.

Last: we all agree Eloise is a lesbian, right? We all ship EloisexPen. Right?

Grogu called Luke. He chose to be a Jedi. There may still be a danger of him going to the dark side, but that wouldn't be present for Mando, he didn't believe it in the 1st place, and I don't think Luke would've agreed to train Grogu if he felt a dark presence. Or maybe he did and he thinks he can help him defeat it like he "helped" his father- we know that's why he takes Ben.

The idea of attachment being a bad thing obviously is not going to have the same importance to a guy who was raised by a family and whose attachments have been a driving force in his life. He defied Yoda's warnings about attachment and ultimately still won (although he lost in the short term). Ahsoka on the other hand is gonna be super concerned about attachment. She was raised by the Jedi and followed the code until she was almost an adult. She spent almost her entire life at war and saw Jedi turn to the dark side, and it's implied she knows attachment is what turned Anakin. Of course the threat is more real to her.

What happened to Grogu‘s attachment to Din and the danger of him going to the dark side? Did that vanish when cg Luke arrived?

I need a "what if" fic. Specifically a "what if Darth Vader defeated Obi Wan and didn't become a cyborg."

I need all of the Jedi knowing who Darth Vader truly is and using that to their advantage.

I need full acrobatic Darth Vader (b/c tbh, if Darth Vader had full mobility, Ahsoka would have died instantly in their fight)

I need Anakin relishing in his new dark freedom

I need Anakin "saving Padme" and the repercussions of that. (Does he leave his children on Naboo when he realizes they are potential targets? Does Padme play along long enough to escape? Does she stay to bring humanity to the empire's leadership? Does Vader corrupt her? Does he train the twins as Sith?)

I need a dark-side Anakin fueled by love and power vs pain and grief (more like Dooku)

Because the cyborg bit protects his identity, but that wasn't Palps' OG plan. Think how much less powerful Anakin is because of his pain and the limitations of his suit.

Anyone have good recs or are you gonna make me write this myself?
