From the Magnus Archives Episode 154 The character designs for these two are based on the ones by @thirdchildart who introduced me to the podcast in the first place and who is storyboarding a big part of episode 159 'The Last' as a fan-project at the moment (It is going to be amazinG!!!) I binged through four seasons in the last month and it was the perfect mix of horror and mystery to listen to for the autumn season. Now I still have the final season in front of me and man, have I grown fond of these voices, these characters, the story and the makers of the show as well. Just great stuff.

Jonny: and it's that Alex- Alex is stopping me... From naming one of the protagonists "Alexander J Newall."

Helen: [laughing]

Alex: Why should I pay for YOUR mistakes, Jonny??

Alex: It would-it would- it would do SO much damage SO quickly... Oh god, Jonny. Don't you dare.

Jonny: Now, to be fair, we're- we are co- we are co-writing it. You are... Perfectly able - and have, on several occasions - simply delete it.

Helen: [laughing]

Alex, jokingly: Hah. "Hi, everyone. Yeah, The Magnus Archives 2 isn't happening." "Why." "'Cause Jonny doesn't know when to quit."

og Elias had different colored eyes than Jonah but no one noticed when he switched them because he was always wearing sunglasses to cover up the fact he was high

My favorite thing about Jonah/Elias is that in cannon, NO ONE likes him. His only friends from 200 years ago all ended up hating him, his employees try to kill him regularly, there is only one person he's on good terms with and that guys whole thing is that he doesn't have any friends. Even the Eye, the god he dedicated MULTIPLE life times to serving, tosses him aside the moment Jon shows up to take his place as the Pupil. No one wants him for real.

One gripe I have with the tma fandom is that they will not stop sexualizing Jon aka the ONE asexual character and then be like “Well asexuality is a spectrum! Asexual people can have sex!” Which yeah, true, but they say Jon doesn’t period. Literally the direct quote is like “Oh yeah Jon doesn’t at all.” AT ALL.
