hi friends, this is just to inform that I will no longer be RPing in this blog. I have switched over to the multi-muse blog mentioned above. I still RP Yasha the same way along with many other muses, if anyone is interested.

Hidan’s eyes dart up, then down. Back toward the ground, his bloodied fingers tracing circles in the earth. The dirt stuck under his nails, dark red and black. The salt dried on the back of his hands, thumbs whitening on the pendant of Jashin.   “Yeah,” he starts, clearing his throat. Breathes in, and out, the cloying crypt air sticking to his lungs. “Yes.”

“And…?” The god prompts,  as still as a statue.

Heaving a petulant sigh, Hidan tries again.

“Yes, Lord Jashin. I understand.”

Ame watched herself on the video--- giggling while Mom wiggled her big toe. Giggled like crazy and took her feet, trying to smush her face against them with the kind of flexibilities babies tend to have.

The silliness of it all makes her laugh.

“Moom,” she pretended to whine. “Do we really have to include baby videos?”

“It’s imperative!” Dad said, coming into the living room with another hard drive. “It’s your wedding video after all. Your wife and your new family must know how adorable you were as a baby.”

“I’m sure in the years she’s been coming over, you’ve all already shown her all of it.”

> Apologies for not being present for... a long ass while. In my defence, we are fresh out of a rotation that had 24 hour duties every 3 days. So that left little time to recover from feeling tired--- not enough to study well and certainly not enough to RP properly or even plot properly sometimes.

> Currently, we are rotating in the Emergency Room. Which, while it has a more humane schedule (we’re never there for more than 12 hours and they tell us to go have lunch and tbh, the ER will function without us. The DEM residents are super nice.) there is always SOMETHING HAPPENING.

Yashamaru laughed! Sasori must have kept several of them! And after coming in from the hospital, this was just the thing he needed---- all before probably 5 hours of blissful sleep. Wake him up for lunch.

“I thought I saw something,” he said, “but, regardless, you’ve got something on your cheek.” Yashamaru pointed to it and then pick up the little kitten threatening to spill over. 

“I’m sure you won’t mind if I take this not-kitten away from your... face.” He scurried away, fully expecting a chase (an awkward one, because Sasori still has a coat full of them).

"Oh no, there's only /one/ bed! Whatever will we do?!" Take the hint, Yasha.

“Oh my!” Yashamaru laughed as he lay beside Anko on the singular bed. He slipped an arm beneath her, “That’d be terrible! You know I hog all the blankets and cozy things,” Then pulled Anko over him. Laughing because she can’t escape now. Especially not the exaggerated amount of kisses he’s going to give her.

Only one bed in this cozy bed and breakfast place. One month before their time as first year residents. Four years after getting to know each other. Sharing touches. Sharing more than touches.

Yashamaru wouldn’t be able to tell her when he fell and fell hard. Except that he did somewhere along the way. And she probably knows---- she has to know. If not before, then now, with the way Yasha pulled her lower to kiss her lips. The way it tasted both familiar and... different. Renewed.

He’s going to tell her that he loves her tonight. In more ways than one.

For the ICU-Pedia AU thing we’ve got. Which I’m going to call Gen Med AU now cuz they’re both technically generalists there: @akatdollie

where they first met and how: Med school! They weren’t quite groupmates or block mates. But they do see each other often and that turned to sometimes catching each other dead tired at lunch, or lunch in the ER (at like 3-4pm, again dead tired). Eventually turning into medicine boards study buddies, eventually turning into residents and colleagues. Eventually, Yasha just finds Sasori in the house every so often and has accepted his presence as part of the current landscape now.

how long their ‘flirting’ phase was before feelings got involved: WHAT FEELINGS!??! THOSE DON’T EXIST. Feelings got involved somewhere in internship or clerkship or third year. One of those what the fuck am I doing with my life moments at 2am on duty. Sometimes, vulnerabilities pop up when you think you’ve got everything under control and you get a little or a lot more closer to the people you share that with.

who fell for who first ( if applicable ): not quite applicable but Yasha is likely more likely to think of Sasori as a friend

where their first date was and what it was like: Coffee shop. It’s a double date. Yasha and a copy of Nelson’s Pediatrics, along with Sasori and a copy of Harrison’s Internal Medicine

who asks who out and how ( with a sign? spelled out on a cake? just a simple ‘will you go out with me’? ): “Have you studied yet?” “Have you eaten yet?” are the usual starters, coming from either of them.  

who proposes first: I imagine it’s a silent--- Yasha will refer all his gonna be adult patients to Sasori, and if there are any kids to refer they will be for Yasha.

if they keep / kept their relationship secret or let everyone know right away: Nah, not really a secret

where the proposal happens and how ( kiss cam at a baseball game? on a hillside surrounded by ducks? at a disney park? ): with a paper referral slip, based on above

if they adopt any pets together: Yasha just one day sees an aquarium of Sasori’s little critters and feeds them and doesn’t question when they come and go at this point

where their first kiss was and what it was like: LOL I don’t even know if they’d have awkward hugs--- or Yasha would definitely hug, and Sasori would wonder now what

if they have any matching couples stuff ( mugs? sweaters? pillowcases? ): LOL Matching pedia cuffs so Sasori doesn’t keep borrowing Yasha’s when he has a cancer patient with very thin limbs?

how long it is before they sleep together ( can be as in ‘had sex’ or as in ‘shared a bed’ ): One especially terrible duty night at the start of clerkship where Sasori finally doesn’t care about when the sheets have been changed or whether or not the bed is occupied--- Damn it Yasha, move, there’s space enough for two and I need a nap

if they argue about anything: SO MANY THINGS. Sometimes about patient management. Sometimes about innane things like how much the cost of going to this for dinner vs this other place for dinner is. Vs how much do they care when they’re both starving post duty

who leaves more marks ( lipstick, hickeys, scratchmarks etc. ): Neither? like I can’t think of any particular marks to talk about too (like Akira leaves little drawings on Yasha’s notes but Sasori doesn’t believe in sullying anything unnecessarily sooo)

who steals whose clothes and how often: Yasha’s coat often gets stolen by Sasori when he needs to go somewhere in the hospital and Yasha’s coat is closer than his

how they cuddle ( spooning? facing each other? ): Naah

what their favourite nonsexual activity is: DIFFERENTIALS. Watching medical dramas and seeing who has a longer list of possible sicknesses or diseases the character has. +50 points if they get the actual disease mentioned by the show. They’re both equally good at it.

how long they stay mad at each other: Probably not long? I don’t imagine them being mad for long

what their usual coffee / tea orders are: Sasori takes coffee black as the void. and the most coffee Yasha drinks is the ones in the little tetrapack you can get in the vending machine

if they ever have any children together: Nah, they’re both uncle and pseudouncle though? Does that count?

if they have any special pet names for each other: I don’t think they do? 

if they ever split up and / or get back together: Nope, I don’t think so

what their shared living space is like ( messy? clean? what kind of decor? ): They don’t share a callroom but if they’re roommates, I imagine the space is like. Super clean. Would Sasori ever stand for mess? I don’t think so

what their first christmas / hanukkah / etc as a couple was like: LOL first Christmas in the Ward and they have instant hot chocolate for the Christmas spirit

what their names are in each other’s phones: Just their names

if they have any ‘couple traditions’ ( buying a new mug for their collection every year? baking every friday evening? ): Sasori often comes in early if Yasha is duty to visit him during morning gases (where you get arterial blood gas of the little pneumonia kiddies in the pedia ward) and makes sure Yasha has some measure of breakfast before going to the outpatient department for the morning

who falls asleep first and who wakes up first: They both jump up to their feet when someone shouts CODE

who’s the big spoon / little spoon: Not quite into cuddles

who hogs the bathroom: SASORI. Yasha needs to piss and Sasori is still finishing his skin care. He doesn’t give a shit if they’re on duty. He’s not skipping dates on this.

Yasha tries to keep his work desk clean and Anko has specific ways of arranging things that must always be adhered to. It just gets bad on like--- depressive or manic spells where pretty much everything goes downhill.
