Yuuto shifted in his chair. Honestly, he wasn't quite sure how to handle such a situation with his sister. There had been a time when he would have simply forced his opinion on her... but clearly, that wasn't working anymore. And he had realized that talking things through worked with his wife... so why not with his sister?

Scratching his head, Yuuto listened to every single word. So, Nalia had been right. Yuriko had indeed messed up but still... it wasn't Yuuto's place to tell her what to do. And since the accident had already happened, yelling more about wouldn't do any good, right?

"Haa... you know, I respect your decision. Yeah, I would rather have it differently for you since you're so young and all but you gotta do what you gotta do. It ain't my business." Yuuto sighed, trying to smile. "And I'm kinda happy for you. Having pups is the best, after all, I should know."

Well, Yuuto knew how it felt having pups incoming. Honestly, the thought of being a father to two children sometimes freaked him out. Keisuke had never been the father of the year, Ichiro neither. So, now, Yuuto just had to figure everything out. But still, waiting for the pups was the time of his life and he believed it would get even better after their birth. So, if that was what Yuriko wanted too... Yeah, it was better to be supportive.

"It was kinda shitty what you said," Yuuto admitted. He had thought about those words a lot. He had made Yuriko feel like that even though his purpose had been the complete opposite. But it was nice to hear that Yuriko might have said it out of anger, not because she really thought like that. "I forgive you tho. I don't wanna fight with you."

Once Yuriko smiled and finally sipped her hot cocoa, Yuuto reached under the table and pulled out the gift he had chosen together with Nalia a couple of days before. "Here, Nalia and I got this for your pup. I hope the kiddo's gonna love it."

Asking for Forgiveness

Yuuto was shifting in his chair. He wasn't a person who enjoyed hanging in the cafes, especially not without his precious wife. But they had agreed that he would do this alone. While sitting in the corner table he went through the memories in his head over and over again.

It had been shitty of him. He could admit that much. But honestly, Yuriko was so young and in the middle of her university studies. But Nalia had been right. It had not been Yuuto's business to butt in and say... or more like, yell about it.

Yuriko's reaction had been a surprise. She didn't yell back often... and such things.

You suck as a brother, those words rang repeatedly through Yuuto's mind. If Yuriko really felt like that... Well, Yuuto couldn't have that. He wanted his sister happy. And in her current state, she shouldn't be stressed out too much. Yuuto knew it. So, he wished to fix things.

Hence Yuuto had invited Yuriko into this cafe and even ordered her favorite drink, hot cocoa with whipped cream.

And finally, the door opened, and the scent of a Kitsune sailed in with a hint of a Vampire. More than a hint, actually. Now that there were only humans around them, Yuuto could tell that right now, Yuriko smelled much more Vampire than before.

Yuriko roamed to the table. Yuuto hurried to his feet and pulled a chair for her once she had undressed her coat and scarf.

"Hey... nice to see you, Sis." Yuuto waited while Yuriko settled. "So... I wanted to say that I'm sorry 'bout that... outburst. It's not my business what you do with Ruki. You should make your own decisions. So... I hope you can forgive me."
