EXCITING NEWS: As of today, all the Yukikaze novels (including Aggressors) have been uploaded and can be downloaded from this site (WARNING: site contains inappropriate advertisements) in Japanese.
Though this may not serve fans who cannot read the language, it is nonetheless a step forward that these novels can now be easily accessed if you live overseas.

Yumi Tada’s artwork for the Yukikaze OVA DVD covers has finally been returned after 20 years.
Tada has commented: “Thank you very much for your many comments. I'm surprised that so many people remember the work even after 20 years. I'm doing my best thinking about how to give back to the fans of the work called Yukikaze.”

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Yukikaze OVA, Platz is releasing a 1/144 plastic model of Mave, with special “JAM Sensor” decals. A special fluorescent decal is used to realistically reproduce the unique pattern that emits red light in the play. It glows red when exposed to black light.

New release: Battle Fairy Yukikaze <KAI> (Aizo Version) / 戦闘妖精・雪風〈改〉〔愛蔵版〕
To celebrate and promote Aggressors, Yukikaze <KAI>, the revised version of the first Yukikaze novel, is once again being released - this time, several new features will be added. In addition to the novel itself, this version includes “valuable interviews, commentary, and a newly written short story.”
It will be released officially on July 20, but it can be pre-ordered here.

Today, July 10th, is the birthday of Yukikaze author Chōhei Kambayashi. He is 69 years old today! 🎂 Here’s his Instagram post celebrating his birthday.
In a 2006 SF Magazine poll he was ranked third best Japanese SF writer of all time, and in 2014 poll, the second.
May he always stay happy and healthy!

Yukikaze author Chohei Kambayashi and his beloved cat, Vitanya, will appear in the NHK broadcast “Nekomentary” on May 18. It is a short documentary program that depicts the lives of Japanese authors and their cats. [source]
In 2005, Vitanya appeared on his front porch as a stray cat. About 17 years later, she has been living as a member of the family in Nagano prefecture.
