Bad news everyone I have been once again asked for an update on a specific drabble request after stating that if that continued to happen, anonymous asks will be coming off so unfortunately, anonymous asks will be off for the foreseeable future. This is a hobby not an obligation. All currently pending anonymous drabble requests WILL still be completed when I get around to them and I'll continue to take new requests off of anon.

Sorry to anyone disappointed. Most of my anons have been nothing but very kind and respectful so, sorry, but I just can't deal with any more stress in my life right now let alone from my hobby. I'm really not doing okay right now.

Note: you CAN select the filename "drabble reqs" for when I do WIP Wednesday if it is listed and I don't take issue with that in fact I appreciate it. It's the constant follow-up about specific requests. I just can't handle it anymore. My sanity is a bit extra thin rn I just don't need it.

Dresses for Wip Wednesday!

Whoop whoop thank you for the request! This is the last WIP Wednesday for dresses at this time and thank goodness (I am running out of sfw content to post alongside the new lines lmfao) but I've gotten so much done on it and I'm so grateful for all the requests! As usual I'll include three previous sfw lines from earlier in the fic, and the new lines which are nsfw under the cut.

He took notice of all his flaws in the dress, the garish scars that streaked across his face and chest, how broad and manly his shoulders were– and he liked his broad, manly shoulders, but he knew that you can't have shoulders like that in a dress like this if you want to be considered pretty. He waved the dress skirt. Despite his shame, he couldn't deny how pretty and free he felt wearing it.

I hope this isn’t too much of an ask but could you post a version of your nimona fics with no smut? All of work is amazing though

Hi! So first of all thank you for the compliment I'm glad you like my work :) I'm a little confused by the ask though. Are you requesting me to upload a revised version of all my pre-existing smut fics with the smut edited out? So the thing is, I don't typically just include smut for the sake of being spicy or having a higher Ao3 rating, I use it as a vessel for storytelling and to explore the characters' relationships and dynamics. As a result, I unfortunately cannot edit it out of my fics because important character development is often conveyed through smut and several stories wouldn't make sense anymore.

When the smut is not important to the story, I try to put it in a separate chapter so the first chapter can just be read as a one-shot by readers who don't want to see that. I do want my work to be accessible to people without making them uncomfortable and I try to do a fair job of warning, tagging, and hiding smutty scenes and chapters (behind read-mores, etc.) I know it might feel right now that I'm posting a lot of smut but that might be because I got a LOT of requests for a specific WIP Wednesday for which I just so happen to be working on a smut segment lol, but for those I put them under a read-more so nobody has to see it if they don't want to.

So yeah, sorry! On my Ao3 linked in my bio I do have all my fics rated and I have several in the range of G - M which don't contain explicit smut (some M ones contain suggestive sexual content or reference to sex, but not explicit sex scenes yk) so I recommend you check those out if you haven't! Also ALL my drabble requests are clean unless the asker specifically requests otherwise, which only happened once so far, so you can access a good portion of clean writing under the "drabble requests" tag on my account. I'm sorry if my work contains content with which you are not comfortable and I hope you can continue to enjoy my cleaner work. I will continue to try and provide ample warning for NSFW material, and I may make a poll to see if clean content is something people want to see more from me just out of curiosity. At the end of the day I do write for myself but I share that content and I do want people to enjoy it.

The excerpt is from "Everything is the Same But" (again) because none of the progress I made on the others in the last week reads decently out of context 😭 oops

Ambrosius snapped, “You don't know anything about my family or my situation, okay?” There was a quality to his voice that Ballister hadn't heard before, something like whininess, or petulance. “They think I'm working only twelve hours a day here plus the work at home. My parents love me and they're good parents! They adopted me and then they kept loving me and raising me even when I told them I didn't want to be a glassblower or inherit the business, even though that's half the reason I was adopted in the first place! They're good parents! Did someone call you to do a wellness check or something? As a knight wouldn't you have more important things to mind than my personal life?”  Ballister took a step back and put his hands up. “I didn't mean offense, I was just– look, I don't have many friends, okay?” Ambrosius’s gaze softened and he looked up, ceasing his pedal on the machine. “Friends?”  Shit! You literally barely know this person! “Um, well, I mean–” Ambrosius smiled and let out a soft chuckle. It was laced with kindness, not ridicule. “I’m sorry, I didn't realize. I don't have much experience with friends. A friendly acquaintance here and there, my mentor, but nobody ever called me their friend.”  Ballister rubbed his arm and swallowed. He was embarrassed to admit he was in the same boat. He had serviceable relationships with a few other knights from his age group, Coriander, Nicholas, and Mansley, but he didn't especially like them, and the feeling was mutual. All he could really say was that he preferred them over the likes of others like Thoddeus, Chadwick, or Blanche. He'd sit with them at lunch when sitting alone wasn't an option, but he didn't actively seek out their company like he found himself doing with Ambrosius. “I mean. Yeah. We can be friends.”
