why does Lloyd have a braid?

Lloyd in my headcanon started to braid his hair after his meeting with FSM, as a way to not forget what happened (he forgets anyway but keeps going out of habit) and also I just think it fits? since he is training the next generation of ninja, and both Wu and FSM had braids, I would assume Lloyd would have one as well? lol but at first it was made to look like sort like a tail, since I think it would fit the dragon rising theme, if you know what I mean 👀 and overall I just think it would look INSANELY cool in a fight and just in posing overall, it allows for more dynamic poses as well, just imagine how a giant braid would move during a fight, like yes, that's the vibe I wanted

I love this question! And I wish I could answer "how to" properly ajaidjdjasduhd, because most of the time I just color the way I feel is right! the best advice I can give you is don't shade with black....? but even that doesn't apply to every situation. color theory is overall a mess, and I doubt I can explain it
