Even though we had been working together for quite some time, I was surprised to learn that Tailo Darius Jnr attended Lae Secondary School from 2017 (11-4) to 2018. (12-4).

Between 1989 and 1992, I attended the small school, which was then known as Lae Provincial High School.

Tailo is the Project Manager in charge of Guard Dog security operations at the K92 Mine Project Site in Kainantu, East Highlands Province.

To participate in spin-off businesses in upcoming mining projects, landowner groups and companies must prepare themselves to be competent in capturing businesses opportunities arising from the projects.

Jomega Ningi (2021 Grd 12 Lae Sec) and Shane Raward (2021 Grd 12 Busu Sec) are on my 👉 right side. Following their final exams, both worked part-time jobs with Guard Dog Security while awaiting their exam results and offers from the colleges and universities to which they had applied.

Unfortunately, their time is up, and they must depart. Still, I'm relieved that both have received offers to continue their studies at their desired higher education institutions. Jomega will attend Divine Word University to study Computer Science and Mathematics, while Shane will attend Kokopo Business College in Rabaul.

During their part-time assignment, Jomega and Shane provided invaluable assistance to me and Newton in the logistical distribution of critical security products to support Guard Dog Security operations across the country.

I'm proud that I was able to teach these boys real-world skills and knowledge about how logistics play an important role in the private security and investigation industry.
