Twitter told me that Ash and Pikachu won’t be on the Pokemon show anymore, and even though I haven’t been watching since about 2001 that sure got me in the feelings!

Pokemon’s a thing that I have been able to connect with people of all ages about since 1998, and I’m not gonna stop! I’ll have to get familiar with the new characters though. 😁

This painting made me realize something- this famous frame doesn’t even include Pikachu’s famous tail. Because it’s actually about LOVE 💖💖💖

HOURLY COMICS!!! It only took me two extra days to finish them this year! (How much extra time last year? Cannot remember.) This is honestly my favorite art challenge - a short sprint of one day, but I like it even more than 24-hour comics day because the subject is both set and loose. Just, EVERY HOUR, A COMIC! How much info? How detailed? UP TO YOU

In retrospect, I should've sketched in ballpoint pen again - but my desk was littered with blue pencils, felt tips and markers from another project and those are what I automatically picked up. 🙃 OH WELL I like how they turned out!

"Hammerhead worms" might be the worst phrase of the week, but I haven't decided yet. Thanks for reading!~ ❤️
