Being an OC whump writer feels like reverse demon possession. You have little people in your head and you do terrible things to them. And instead of you summoning them, they go “poof!” and summon themselves and then you beat them up for it. And maybe when you make them suffer enough you give them a happy ending, but also they have to go through The Horrors first because that’s the price of living rent free in your brain.

For whumpee: favorite and least favorite kinds of torture

(Medieval whump ask game)

This is a really fun question, and even though the medieval ask game was posted before I got around to this I still wanna answer it just by myself!

My favorite method of medieval torture has got to be the pillory/stocks. So underutilized. So many variations you can do. So much fun.

Least favorite…gonna go with the rack. I’m not a fan of one-and-done kind of torture methods where you can only do them one time and then your whumpee is pretty much ruined. And the rack is one of those. It’s fun while it’s happening, but it can only really happen once or maybe twice, and I just like a little more repeatability.

In my own writing, I have Kitty Cerberus who have three different types of venom.

One of my magical horse breeds can build a stronger bond with their person by sharing blood.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to this before posting the ask game, but I’ll just answer it for fun!

I’d want to be Robin Hood, I think. If “outlaw robbing from the rich and giving to the poor” counts as a “job.” Just annoying rich people and hanging out with my bros in a forest. Sounds awesome.
