I remember the time when i first got the courage to showcase who i am and what i can do. I did faced criticism at first but when i was appreciated by my mentors and my people, it was one of the best feeling because they appreciated me for who I am. Aristotle once said "Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees the others." Tanya has been with me from like 4th grade. It was our school carnival and we were in class 10th. During those days i was good in dance and singing but i was too nervous to tell this or show my skills to anyone. So i had this conversation with her and we started practice for that. Okay so the thing i faced was criticism just because i was thick and i never showed my this version to anyone before. So when we use to practice in the music room, people use to watch us sing and people were like “Hey varsha can sing and she sings really well” and our seniors use to compliment us as a pair. I had some of the best teachers who loved the inner me and appreciated my little things. On the carnival day i was very scared and nervous because i never performed on stage but tanya was very supportive with the words I can’t say out loud. “Can we have varsha and tanya on stage for their performance?” I AM NOT DOING THIS!

T: Are you stupid? You’ll be fine let’s go everyone is watching us.

Our performance started and me and tanya performed gaaliyan from ek villian. Suddenly i saw people going crazy over the song and i was so happy that i did something i always wanted to. The performance was fabulous and people really applaud us. We walked down the stage and our friends and other mates came to us and they really appreciated us. Our teacher’s and principal were really happy with our performance. The point is that GIVE YOUR SHOT. You really don’t know if you’ll get the opportunity again and you’ll miss the time. You’ll miss the time when people really saw who tf you are. Your every move is calculated and choreographed in tune with your lovable personality. You don’t have to fear about opening your heart and letting the sparks fly out of your chest. You don’t have to hold yourself back.Because who you are is beautiful. 🌹.
