The feel of thé first season of di4ries is just amazing. I binge watched it and it’s feel good.

The whole series is just so fluffy you root for the characters , even those you don’t actually like.

And yeah it’s a little bit cringe (normal because it’s about young teenagers) but it’s part of the charm.

But I’m the novels, when you’re actually hearing their thoughts and all, the love between them is dripping from every word and that’s pretty amazing

I’ve been reading the osemanverse novellas. It really incredible how the series and the comic and the novellas all blend in together. They keep the same atmosphere, the characters are very similar to what they are in other pieces of media on the subject.

A big part of me hates Schmidt. I just find him so annoying and I never manager to get myself to like him.

However, how he acts around his loved ones, his self sacrifice for nick, Cece, and his others friends. He’s just sooooo loving and that’s why even if I couldn’t stand to be in a room with him for over ten minutes, I can never totally hate him.

(Spoiler alert : Yeah I’m watching Schmidt get out of the apartment in the middle of the night to go get Cece’s mom)

Even as her son coming out to her meant there were things she needed to deal with and protect herself in the campaign, she still took time to reassure Alex, and spend an evening with him and everything. She supported him from the very first second, even with the complications these revelations would entail.

One thing heartstopper did that I’m so thankful for, that is not about representation or awareness is portraying a happy relationship.

So many series and movies have themes of love and relationship. But we never see the characters in mundane settings, being genuinely. We see them flirting prior to the relationship, we see them fake dating, we see them facing horrible challenges and everything.

But Charlie and Nick are shown together as a couple in the mundane things. Playing Mario Kart, being cheesy together, sending each other texts throughout their days, play fighting, Charlie falling asleep on nick during a movie…

That’s everything to me.
