I was inspired by my friend (who isn't posting on social media--yet) who was doing a more painterly effect on a piece he was working on. I was fiddling with the colors and I really like how this one turned out.
This may seem small but to me it's kind of a big deal. I’ve decided that I’m going to post my artwork each month with a picture of me to "review". I've felt a bit shy in posting anything about myself online mainly having felt extremely uncomfortable with how I looked and all. 🫣 I've been working hard on a lot of things, especially in the last few months, and part of it is how I view myself. This is also to remind me of how far I've come and to see what progress there has been, personally and in my art.
This last year has been extremely difficult for a lot of reasons (and honestly it's been difficult for a lot longer lol) but I am excited to see my own personal growth and get an idea on what I can do better and just be happy that I'm getting to do art that I love and post more.
Something small. I’ve had almost zero time to draw this week so when I got a chance to I drew something I enjoy the most: eyes. It’s the first thing I notice whenever I meet someone and, imho, the best part about a person. (:
What’s the first thing you notice about a person?
I was going to just be doing some practice sketches past night when this popped up by @art_side_of_life and I couldn’t resist, her drawing was so cute! 🥰
This was a painting for a friend's character from Final Fantasy XIV game.
I really love all the tarot/art nouveau style paintings. I wanted to make it in my own style while having a lot of fun with it.
