Thinking about how the curse, and how Lysandriel in general, twists people. I wonder if it should be like the how the Beastplague does in Blood.borne.

Emaciated, mangy, predatory. While sickly, they're clearly threats. Humanoid but much more animalistic in nature.

The one who cursed her family is a being named Lysandriel. I haven't entirely ironed out what he is and the specifics of the curse on Isabelle's family. Like, if the curse is going to be more Isabelle is blood-related to Lysandriel, or as a result of a deal Isabelle's family is basically doomed.

The person who made the deal's name is Sir Roderick du Coeur (later the name was spelled to be Ducoeur), who was a knight and a damn good one at that. As a result of his own aging, a lack of satisfactory performance from his then-children, and somewhat of a desperation in feeling like he needed to protect his home he made the deal with Lysandriel.

As time went on Lysandriel's power began to wane, and as a way to mitigate that he started to break pieces of himself off and sending them to possess other living beings. The pieces became more and more scattered, even reaching across worlds. The possessions of these living beings would eventually twist them to be more monster-like. Much in the same way the curse twists the Ducoeur family.

Isabelle, having been raised on stories of knighthood and the like, decided to change her last name to try and distance herself from the family that disowned her. So while legally speaking her last name is Ducoeur, she decided for herself to go with Acheflour.

A monstrous curse fighting for superiority over nephilim blood. Whether as she gets older she settles into normalcy and learns some control over both sides of herself is a 50/50 with either being overtaken by one or the other. To become something mindless and bloodthirsty or to simply watch her humanity burn away.

I'm thinking about Isabelle as she gets older and the complications that might come with it. Her body is both real sturdy and fairly fragile? She heals almost too fast, leading her to scar easily. Her metabolism is fast and she burns through food quickly despite her size, she ages damn slow, she can't gauge her own strength which only grows as the days go on.
