Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai / I'm Addicted To You

Hi^^ This time I bring a shoujo manga review, that I just read last night (or more like from 1 am to 4 am - what is sleeping anyway😅)

Synopsis:

So we have our everyday highschool girl, Hotaru, who doesn't know anything about love, but a real cutie, so it's okay that you're such a baka; and our totally not cliche, serious, good student boy, Hananoi, who is lowkey yandere (but a fluffy one tho). After Hotaru gave him her umbrella, Hananoi confesses to her and they try out dating until the 24th of December, but does Hotaru's feelings change or will they be strangers again? (Is this how they always write the last sentence of the synopsis, right?)

Review:

It's fluffy! It's cute! But it's also serious sometimes. I'm very interested in yandere characters, that how I found this manga like years ago and added it to my manga list, but boi, I never read anything from it (sorry for the whining). So Hananoi is a very interesting character. He's obsessive, but he also gives space to Hotaru and he's never saying anything to her, like he's jealous or he's missing her and he's possessive, he says that he only needs her, but he actually cares about others too (tsundere-ish?).

I also love that they're blushing. Always blushing. I need to point this out, because they are hella cute and the art style is really beautiful too!

Also Hotaru. She's a really good girl character. I have read a lot of shoujo manga, but most of the main girl characters are either stupid (see upcoming post of Diabolik Lovers, Bokura No Koi Wa Shi Ni Itaru Yamai No You De or Honey X Honey Drops) or plain, like those who are always good to everyone, and never do a thing to themselves (like Nanami from Uta no Prince-sama). Hotaru is a strong girl. She's lovely and cute. Big plus point for her!

I recommend this manga to every shoujo manga fan, but to people too, who just love amazing artstyles as well. If you need something yandere-ish, then you can try this, but like I said it's fluffy, not something with killing, stalking (oof this isn't a Killing Stalking reference) etc.

It's ongoing, right now there are 13(,5) chapters in 4 volumes, so it's still pretty new, I think?

So check it out! You won't regret it!

Koko Wa Ima Kara Rinri Desu / From Now On We Begin Ethics...

Welcome! It's my first review so I'm a bit scared, but let's get it^^

I wouldn't thought that this manga would be first thing, that I write about, but when I found this some days ago, it instantly caught my attention.

Synopsis:

It's a normal high school with totally normal students and teachers. Except that we can look into the students problems like abuse, mental illness, bullying, rape and other kind of "everyday problems", that we don't talk about enough. And then there is this weird ethics teacher, who always looks sad, but he always sees behind the curtains and tries to help his students.

The manga also speaks about the problems of a teacher, like love between a student and a teacher, favorizing students, and how can they help the students, when they can't do a thing at all.

Review:

It's a really deep manga, but it's not hard to read it. It's really interesting, because we can see the world from the eyes of very different characters, because every chapter has a different main character (and the teacher of course).

I definitely recommend it to teens and on (because I don't really think people below 14 would actually understand it).

It's ongoing, this far there are only 8 chapters.

+I really like the face of the teacher, it says so much about him; I'm sure he went through a lot of hardships in his past.
