A library consisting of  🔥 420 🔥 minimal and elegant icons. Created by Corey Ginnivan, each icon is available to use as a SVG free of attribution. Whilst you can download them individually and paste the SVG code(s) into your site, it could be a hassle if you want to use multiple. I wrote a script that matches each icon name displayed on the list to their corresponding SVG, so all you have to do is type in the icon’s name and it will appear — essentially, it functions as an icon font.

you have no fucking idea how frustrating it is to keep on making posts like these because some people are still way too ignorant about doing research about their choice of fc. i just have to get this off my chest because it’s really upsetting me on another level at this point. i mean yes, some people might not see my posts, which i get. but are you that ignorant to not do any research about your choice of fc either? the whole rpc is legit turning into a ‘just for the aesthetics’ kind of shit. like, i’ve messaged so many people kindly asking them to change their turkish fc’s name to an actual turkish name instead of a non-turkish one. sometimes i would get a respond like “oh yes i did it” but what really was the last straw for me was when people started to block me and even a whole rp did so too. if this isn’t a big middle finger towards us then …

i said this once and sadly i have to say it again: stop. whitewashing. turkish. fcs.

HOW TO: NAME CHARACTERS EFFECTIVELY

babynames.com

might look a bit weird in your search history, but it’s the most helpful and informative site i’ve found for naming characters. search by letters, meaning, nationality, and syllables, among other things. has intriguing name lists — from harry potter names to oscar winners.

social security archives

helpful especially for characters in specific era’s, or in specific demographics. holds archives of the united states’ names dating back to the late nineteenth century. also charts the popularity, and other statistics, of names.

surname generator

very, very helpful for last-minute surnames. wouldn’t recommend for any important, significant, or completely solidified characters, simply because there’s no telling the nationality or origin of the name that comes up.

global naming customs

tracks family names as well as given names through nationality, ethnicity, origin, and popularity, shedding light on the subject of why. huge insight on the origin of naming and what it really means for the individual

[ HERE ] you’ll find 78 gifs of Rahul Kohli in episodes 1 + 2 of Midnight Mass. This show… Oh my, this show. I could write essays about it. And this character? Top tier. Rahul really delivers. It’s so worth watching. That being said: let’s get down to the nitty gritty. Rahul is a British actor of Indian descent who was born in 1985, so do keep that in mind when casting him.  I hope that these gifs can be useful to someone.
