I’ve had to DNF CHOI because the story wasn’t capturing me, and the only characters I liked were Alastair and Kamala (whose storylines haven’t done them justice). Ahhhh, I went into TLH with open eyes and excitement, but it’s just a shame now that I can’t finish the second book. It makes me wonder if it’s even worth it, purchasing CHOT. Coz I’m already contemplating selling the first two books online at a secondhand price.

I didn't even read the second book lmfao. Its on my shelf but I probably won't read it for a long while.

Sell the books man if you're not gonna read them and don't actively collect the books.

Based in the AFTG universe, Rockport is a town all its own and the Hellhounds are a team just as notorious and hopeful as our beloved Foxes.

Rockport University, nestled on the coast of Florida, is open for the start of the new school year. The small college has scholarships available for Exy players and cheerleaders, with Coach Nicky Inez dashing across the country in hopes of recruiting for the Rockport Hellhounds. Coach Jo Jenkins has been working hard with the captain of the Hellfire Cheer Team to get the routines in line for the upcoming season, and the more cheerleaders in the showcase the better. All students are welcome at Rockport, whether or not you compete and perform in Exy or Cheer, and the college hosts a wide range of subjects you can study. The Hounds and the Hellfires are always looking to invite more people to the parties they throw, or hang out with in town.

Rockport, the picturesque and wonderful town that the college is in, has plenty of places to work, dance, drink, party, walk, hang out, workout, and experience. From the theme park with the mermaid tank and rides to get giddy over, to the strip club downtown that caters to anyone 21 and over who likes a side of whimsy and fairytale with their pretty people, the town has something for everyone (and every character).

However, Rockport has a shady underbelly that would steal your breath away and isn’t for the faint of heart. Two rival gangs are often head to head in drag races, and always out to steal each other’s clients and customers. Dealing in drugs and murder, the Scarlett Razors and the Vipers are always looking for shady and mischievous characters to join their ranks.

Ren, Maxx and Rory, the friendly and excited moderators of the Hellhounds’ server, are always ready to welcome new people into their little universe.

Ren (they/he): Ren is 26 years old and the server owner of Hellhounds. Ren is a talented bookbinder and candle maker, and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They are definitely the person to turn to if you need any help with the technicalities of the Hellhounds server and Discord!

Maxx (they/them): Maxx is also 26 years old, loves D&D and miniature painting, is kind-hearted and more than a little thrilled to be helping run this universe. A character creating fiend and incredible writer, Maxx is also determined to create a safe place for everyone--your first point of contact if you have any issues or conflicts you need help with!

Rory (he/him): Rory is the youngest of the moderators at 22 years old, but rest assured he is definitely not the baby. Rory is a writer and devoted to keeping stories and plots rolling in the server. Rory also runs the ‘news’ section of the RP server, where he writes ‘articles’ based on the goings on of your characters, thanks to his studies in journalism and PR. Rory is keen to create any NPCs you might need for your plots, and help you explore whatever story, plot and dynamic you want for your character, all you have to do is ask.

If you are 18+ you are welcome to create any character (cheerleader, Exy player, criminal, general student, townsperson, etc) that you want, and as many as you want! Kit is already annoyed when he opens the door. "For the last time, Jace, no, I will not go with-"

"I'm not Jace," Ty says.

The knuckles of Kit's hand go white as it tightens around the door.

He's just woken up from a nap. It shows. His blonde hair is a mess, flattened on one side and all spiked up on the other. Red marks his cheek where it was pressed against the pillow, and this pair of sweatpants is old enough that it has a hole on the knee, doesn't quite cover his ankles. Kit isn't even wearing a shirt under Jem's hoodie.

"I can see that", Kit manages after a few seconds. His voice sounds strangled. "Just- give me a minute."

The door slams shut. Ty starts counting.

About fifty-seven seconds later, it opens again. His hair looks like he's at least gone through it with his fingers; the hoodie is nowhere to see, replaced by one of Tessa's sweaters. It is a little too tight around his shoulders. The jeans he's now wearing has an actually purposeful knee hole. Kit is still barefoot.

"Okay," Kit says, "now we can talk."
