the female couldn’t help but laugh at the male’s reaction towards her bringing up the whiskey, shaking her head in the process as she wrote down his order, slipping the pad and pen in the pocket of her apron that she had to wear around the diner. “any good person would do the same thing,” she reminded with a small shrug, passing off his compliment. melanie’s eyebrows raise up at his statement, before slowly nodding her head and starting to turn around. “like you weren’t going to give me a nice tip, anyway,” she jokes out, biting on her lesser lip to stop the smile from appearing on her features. “how about i answer that question once i’m back with your drink??” it was a rhetorical question, and she made sure he was aware of that as she walked away and into the back of the diner to make his drink.

⚜ --- he smiled, watching her writing down his order. he lifted his head a little more and shook his head. “there’s not many good people, i mean there are, but not like you.” jeremy winked at her, obviously in a better mood than how he got here, just by talking to her. he chuckled and lifted his hands and shoulders at the same time. “that’s true, can’t lie about that.” he rolled up the sleeves from his suit jacket, nodding as she left to make his espresso. he kept watching her from his seat, head resting onto his palm, eyes slightly droopy as he did.

They claim to be a job service, and one of their “employees”, Carrigan, is friends with whoever the call recipient is, and that Carrigan has recommended you for this $15.00/h “job”. I also got a text message from (937) 607-1493, claiming to be Carrigan, and that they need stuff to “win a scholarship”. I do not know anyone by the name of Carrigan and I know very well that this is a very dangerous scam. If you receive a call from a number, and they ask you if you would like a job for $15.00/h, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. If you accept the “job” offer, and you go in for an interview, they will give you a drugged bottle of water and you will wake up somewhere you don’t want to be. These phone calls & texts are from a human trafficking service, and if you oblige to them, you will be sold to people and you will be raped, no doubt about it. So PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS OR TEXTS. I have listened to the voicemails, and allowed my dad to do the same, and he learned that anyone offering a $15.00/h “job” is a human trafficker. PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST THIS ALL OVER TUMBLR

“Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Nothing is wrong.” She shook her head, a nervous smile now pressed onto her olive-toned features. She NOTICED the worry that’s now adjusted onto his own face. Inthat second, she started to regret her choice in bringing her sexual kinks up like this. the female pretended to ponder over his question, as if she weren’t aware of what they had at the diner. “well, we do have a bottle of whiskey in the back,” she stated, before tapping her pen on her pad of paper. “but you’re driving so i’d feel guilty if i sneaked some to you.” the female can practically hear how drained he is just from his voice, and that makes her want to do things quicker just so he could get home and get some rest. “espresso with a bit of sugar good for you?” she questions before she even begins to write it down. at his next statement, she smacks her hand in the air, dismissing his apology. “no need to apologize, i chose to stay and take your order,” she admitted, not that it was much of a secret for her to keep. “you know i’m always here for you,” she reminded with an assuring smile.

⚜ --- jeremy looked up at her curiously, enjoying her cheerful demeanor. “hm, whiskey.” he grunted, squinting his eyes and pressing his lips together, how he would love some whiskey, it’s not like he didn’t have the finest whiskey at home, but everything tasted better here. “you’re the best for just that.” he says with a chuckle, opening his eyes again and scratching his cheek out of habit. “sounds nice, i’ll give you a nice tip if you make it as strong as possible.” he has to cover his smirk behind his hand when she flings her hand up, nodding his head. “you’re an angel, melanie, this dinner is so lucky to have you.” he straightens up in his seat and looks around the dinner before quickly connecting their eyes once again. “how has your week been?”

it had been a long day at work, and for some reason, she always found herself enjoying her days at work. she didn’t know if it was the people who surrounded her on a daily basis, or the mere atmosphere of the small, family-like diner. after running away from home, and her family, the owners of this diner seemed to open her with open arms, being almost like a second family to the small brunette. something she’d always be repaying them for. the young female had just finished cleaning up her last table of the night when she heard the bell sounding from the door indicating a new customer had walked it. she was off, and could easily just leave, but she had grown to like, and know, since the first day he walked in. so, with a small head nod to the owner, telling him that she’d take care of this customer, she was off towards the table he took a seat at. ‘ so, is it the usual, or are you feeling a bit different today?? ‘ she greeted with a large grin, leaning against the opposite side of the booth he was in, pad and paper in hand.

⚜ --- his hands drop a few inchis and his head lifts a few, meeting the girl’s eyes with a small smile, he simply couldn’t help himself, no matter how grumpy he would be. “i’m actually in need of something a little stronger, anything you can recommend sweetheart?” he said, voice obviously thick with sleep, he needed it, but not before he had chatted with her. his hand cups his chin as he looks at her, checking the time. “i’m sorry i popped in this late, i usually don’t get out this late, today has been a wild ride from start to end.” he said with a small chuckle, hazel hues quickly scanning her usual outfit before focussing on her face, his lips curling up in a bigger smile.

⚜ --- it’s normal for jeremy to pass by the small dinner at the corner of the street, wether he would go to work or go home ( like he was going now ) he would always drive by and squint his eyes to look into the place. he drops by frequently, ordering his coffee, chatting with his favourite waitress and starting his day fresh. it’s different now, it’s about to hit four zero’s on his dashboard when he parks his car down the street. his day had been full of yelling, argueing, trying to make new deals and lots and lots of paperwork. he could use a good drink right now, and seeing the girl - melanie - maybe was what he wanted the most. he walked in through the doors, the familiar sound of someone entering the place filling his ears along with the quiet music and chatting of the few people that were there too. he spotted the brunette in only mere seconds, walking to a table in the corner of the dinner and taking place. his fingers quickly found their way to his temples, rubbing them as he tried to quiet down the mess in his head.
