according to a chart i saw once, the estimated minimum speed for a person walking is 0.63mph (15 miles per day). the estimated maximum speed for a person walking is 1.25mph (30 miles per day).

so, the entire length of miitopia that is adventurable in-game is about 5,482.5–10,965 miles long. the former number is over a half of the diametre (line through the centre) of the earth, and the latter number is about half of the circumference (line around the outside) of the earth!

from my very liberal calculations, it would take your miitopia party nearly a year in-game to save miitopia, explore galados isle, and conquer the ruins of new lumos and the towers of dread.
