Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 5, chapter 34.5

CHAPTER 34.5: PRISON VISIT

 The Nelaz twins from the Class Battle Arc are seen on the cover along with Tenji Line, ‘Earth class’ №1’s former class teacher, the twins wearing very cute clothes and with even cuter backpacks, the traitorous bastard behind them patting their heads, making them smile in a shy way while he’s smiling widely.

‘Criminals are just drawn to each other and always get along, no matter what their age is!! It’s a fundamental law of physics!!’

  Deckstoru’s prison is seen, the focus going to one of the halls inside of the building, Yuki, Saya and Zoran coming around its corner and moving down it, looking very serious.

‘Let’s move aside from the story we’ve been looking at so far and look back at the peaceful days of Deckstoru to see why exactly has this trio visited their city’s prison!!’

Saya and Zoran look at each other from time to time as they keep moving forward and Yuki sighs.

Yuki: ‘-I really don’t understand why you had to drag me along as well.’

Saya: ‘-I told you already, Yu. When the Nightsongs were informed that I and Zoran will be paying them a special visit, Ulura begged on her knees to see you as well. So we decided to grant her wish’

Yuki: ‘-Yeah but I don’t really feel like seeing her again. After all, each of our encounters in the past has led to most destructive events.’

Zoran: ‘-Don’t worry, Yuki. The Nightsongs and their allies are confined in special cells in the most heavily guarded part of the prison. There is now way any of them can harm you. Plus, I and Saya’ve got your back.’

Four policemen stand in front of the trio, Zoran nodding to them, after which they step aside, inserting a key in each of the four locks placed on the walls on both their sides. The sound from the movement of lots of metal elements is heard after that, a part of the floor ahead suddenly separating from the one beyond it and a huge square hole opens between them.

Yuki steps forward very carefully, looking down and seeing that around ten or so cells are lying down in the abyss, made from crystal elements and glass, protected with energy fields and connected with energy streams.

Policeman 1: ‘-Please, watch your step.’

A small platform appears just in front of the trio as light explodes on both its sides, showing a staircase that leads down to the underground level of the prison, the heroes going down there and standing in front of the Nightsongs’ cell, each of them sitting in a different corner and looking aside with anger, wearing prison clothes.

Zoran: ‘-Good day, Mr., Mrs. and Ms. Nightsong. (no one reacts to that) Um, Ulura, we’ve brought someone to see you.’ (Ulura turns around with surprise, seeing Yuki standing opposite to her, the baby doll smiling shyly)

Yuki: ‘-Um … g-good day.’ (Ulura jumps straight to the cell’s bars with an unbelievably comically happy expression)

Ulura: ‘-Yuki, Yuki!! Is it really you?! Or am I dreaming again?! (Yuki nods with confusion, hearing this) I’m so happy to see you!! I’ve really missed you!!!’ (Saya and Zoran are equally comically puzzled in that moment)

Saya: ‘-This one … has she hit her head very hard or something?!’

Ukris: ‘-That damn bitch’s gone totally insane since we came here.

She just won’t stop talking about wanting to change and becoming more like Iceflame.’ (Yuki is now also comically puzzled)

Yuki: ‘-WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!! (she calms down and looks at Ulura with confusion again) But … why do you want to be like me?’ (Ulura’s eyes shine like never before)

Ulura: ‘-What do you mean ‘why’?! Because you’re the best, Yuki!! You’re smart, beautiful, caring, good, strong, brave and lots of other stuff!! There isn’t another girl like you in the whole world!! I totally love you!!’ (Ulura is doing her best to go beyond the bars, the glass and the energy field to reach Yuki but doesn’t succeed while she steps back with a comically terrified and puzzled expression, blushing)

Yuki: ‘-W-was that some kind of confession? (she looks aside, even more bashful) Besides, I’m nothing like the great girl you described.’

Rale: ‘-Okay, Ulura, that’s enough with your bullshit!! Get away from there. (Rale stands up and moves forward) Go on then. There must be a reason for you to come and visit us and I doubt it’s to see how well we look.’

Zoran: ‘-Right you are.’

Ukris: ‘-If you want to get information out of us, you’ve come to the wrong place. I won’t tell you shit and if any of these two tries to speak, I’ll kill them instantly.’ (Yuki and Saya sigh with comical desperation)

Saya: ‘-Looks like some people never change. (she focuses her gaze on Ukris) No, you witch, we don’t want any information from you. Zoran has managed to discover a lot of things as time’s passed and the investigation continues as we speak. We’ll get to the bottom of this soon enough.’ (Ukris smiles villainously, also standing up and going to the bars, looking at Saya as she screws her eyes in anger)

Ukris: ‘-Is that so? Just so you know, you knowing what’s going on isn’t going to change anything. All of you are still going to die. You’ve just delayed the inevitable by defeating us.’

Rale: ‘-Be silent yourself, woman.’ (Ukris turns to her husband with great anger as black lasers start twisting around her, Rale remaining unaffected by her behavior, Ulura standing in front of her mother, looking very decisive)

Ulura: ‘-Don’t you dare touch my father, you bitch!!’

Yuki: ‘-It looks like Ulura really has changed a lot.’

Zoran: ‘-I will have to ask all of you to stop with the idiotic performances for a second. You can kill each other all you want when we’re gone. Now, Rale, we would like to speak with you.’

Saya: ‘-All of your family’s dirty deeds have been exposed thanks to the investigation. (Rale is very shocked, hearing this) They can’t do anything to Ukris and Ulura yet but you, Rale … they’ve got lots of charges on you. They’ve taken the matter to the Sariyan court in the capital.’ (Rale starts trembling in horror)

Rale: ‘-But then … so you mean … how?!’

Zoran: ‘-If things keep going in the same direction, you might even receive a death sentence.’

Rale: ‘-But the brains behind all my actions was this snake right here!! (he points at Ukris with anger and desperation) If someone should be executed here, then it should be her!! I have just done whatever she’s told me to all this time!!’

Saya: ‘-Being weak-willed isn’t usually a crime but in your case it is precisely that that will be the death of you. I’m very sorry, Rale. We wanted to inform you, at least.’

Yuki: ‘-We may have fought to the death in the past but both our families are deviant ones, after all, so we decided to show you at least this much kindness.’ (Ulura jumps to the bars again with a comically happy and grateful face)

Ulura: ‘-Yuki, thank you so much!! I LOVE YOU!!!’ (Yuki jumps back with comical horror and puzzlement)

Yuki: ‘-But I haven’t done anything in this case.’

Ukris: ‘-If that’s all you have to say, then get the hell out of here. I can hardly resist the urge to kill you.’ (Saya steps forward with comical anger)

Saya: ‘-Sure thing!! You can give it a shot if you want, damn hag!!! I’m ready to take your ass on any day!!!!’ (Zoran and Yuki pull her back in desperate attempts to calm her down, looking equally comical)

Zoran: ‘-Saya, you know that’s not what we came here for, right? Calm down a little, will you?! (they manage to pull her back as Zoran then turns to Ukris) By the way, we do indeed have something else to tell you. I would like to inform you that Reimei Scarlettail has become a member of my class recently and is right now a student at ‘Sunbird’.’ (the Nightsongs are extremely shocked)

Ukris: ‘-That’s just fuckin’ impossible!!! That bitch is supposed to be dead!!!!’ (Zoran screws his eyes with suspicion)

Zoran: ‘-So you do know her. I was right. And now comes the only question I came here to ask you. How is it that you know her? I only know that you’ve been in contact with her long ago but have no idea why. How is she related to this whole plan of yours?’ (Rale and Ulura look aside while Ukris starts laughing villainously)

Ukris: ‘-There’s no way I can give you information that’s so important just like that. I’ll tell you this much about Scarlettail, though. Be very careful of her. She is sure to bring all of you a lot more trouble than any of us could!! Just a piece of advice from one deviant to another, Saya. (Saya screws her eyes in anger as Yuki is very shocked) Make sure you protect your family and especially your son from her.’ (Yuki moves forward with a very angry face as Saya stops her)

Yuki: ‘-That’s ridiculous!! Reimei is just a shy and introverted girl!! I don’t believe you!! What harm can she do to us and why especially to Suru?!!’

Ulura: ‘-Please, Yuki, don’t dwell on this matter any further. You won’t like what you find.’

Zoran: ‘-Alright then. Thank you for your time. That will be enough for us for now. Yuki, Saya, let’s go.’ (Zoran is the first one to go back to the stairs as Saya pulls Yuki back, going after him, Ukris’s villainous laugh being heard behind them)

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 5, chapter 34

CHAPTER 34: ERROR IN THE PLANS

 We see Violet on the cover, wearing a most revealing swimsuit, looking ahead with a cute but slightly seductive smile. There is a box with information in it next to her and the following is written there: ‘Name: Violet Nerry; Age: 17; Deva: smoke (blue color); Hobby: swimming and playing metalball; Likes: the sea, the water, her chest; Dislikes: perverts; Most typical trait: cowardly and distractive;’

‘From this chapter onward we’ll be giving you covers showing all the members of ‘Earth class’ №1 along with the most important information about them!! The first one is going to be Violet!!’

‘You shouldn’t underestimate this beauty!! Apart from her lovely appearance, she’s skilled in certain activities but in which ones exactly?!’

  The central parts of Deckstoru are seen, the focus going to one of the streets through which Goran is running, followed by tens of soldiers, firing at him constantly, all the shots hitting his spike-like blade armor.

‘Seiren’s little brother is in trouble!! Will Goran manage to escape his pursuers in the chaos that reigns over central Deckstoru?!’

Goran: ‘-Damn it!! This is just too troublesome!!!’

The building next to him is completely destroyed when an enemy ship passes through it, debris thrown all around, one of the larger ones smashing the young deviant in the ground. He pushes it aside and jumps up quickly, moving forward when he trips over another piece of rubble, falling down. Metal restrainers are launched to him, tightening around his body and making him get back to his usual form before he can get up, the soldiers catching up to him seconds later, smiling villainously at him.

Soldier 1: ‘-There’s nowhere you can run and hide from us, kid!! End of the line!!!’

Goran: ‘-Come on, man!! What is it that you guys want from me?!’

Soldier 2: ‘-We have business with your family. We’ll capture all of you, just like the Summerbolts.’

Goran: ‘-I asked what you want, dumbasses!!’ (one of the soldiers kicks him in the stomach through the restrainers, pushing him aside)

Soldier 3: ‘-You’ll find out yourself soon enough!!’

Two of them grab him and start dragging Blackscale ahead with them as the focus goes to the group moving underground, the area around them suddenly starting to shake and confusing everyone, Rose giving them a sign to stop.

Rose: ‘-That’s not good. Looks like things up there aren’t going well at all.’

Graid: ‘-That’s precisely why we must hurry. The city’s lost without us!!!’

The pink-eyed Kairy D steps forward, clapping with her hands as everything around her becomes black the next second, the people behind her burning in red light if they are deviants and in blue if they’re ‘normal’, returning back to reality and screwing her eyes with a serious expression.

Turora: ‘-What is it, KD? You sense something?’ (Kairy D nods)

Kairy D: ‘-There are deviants above us. Three of them.’

Feoria: ‘-That’s great!! Let’s take them with us, then!! We could use anyone’s help right now!!’ (she moves forward when Kairy D stops her)

Kairy D: ‘-I can also sense a lot of ‘normal’ people and energy around them.

Energy that looks a lot like the one I felt during the battle at the beach.’ (everyone looks at each other in horror)

Aria: ‘-It’s the enemies!! We have to get out of here right now!!!’

Rose: ‘-Move back!! We’re going back to the beach to rendezvous with the rest of the team!!!’ (Graid steps forward with a comical angry expression)

Graid: ‘-Yeah, right!! Imma kill all those freaks up there!!!!’ (Violet and Zilli grab his arms and Miluna – his neck, pulling him back with great effort and start running back when an explosion erupts above them, opening a hole in the tunnel’s ceiling)

Rose: ‘-Shit!! We should’ve moved faster!!’ (a few silhouettes jump down through the hole, turning out to be three deviants and five soldiers, armed with dull green energy weapons and wearing some high-tech armor on different parts of their bodies on top of their usual uniforms)

Deviant 1: ‘-You were a tad too late to react, little mice!!! (Rose and Graid step forward with great decisiveness, making the villains laugh and the one closest to their group waves with his hand) That’s enough, I think. Those scary glares aren’t going to affect any of us, Graid and Rose Summerbolt!!’ (the girls from Yuki’s class look at the freaks in shock)

Miluna: ‘-Huh?! How the hell do these guys know you?!’

Deviant 2: ‘-Don’t be ridiculous! They’re our primary targets, after all!’

Graid: ‘-Well, suckers, here I am!! Come and get me!!!’

Deviant 3: ‘-And where’s the rest of your pathetic family?!’ (Rose screws her eyes in anger, covering her hands in rocky armor to the elbows)

Rose: ‘-We’ll be more than enough. If I were you, I’d worry about my own condition rather than my enemy’s current whereabouts!!’

Soldier 4: ‘-Okay, let’s waste their asses!!!’

The three deviants lead the soldiers’ five forward, shooting air shots, water bullets and crystal shuriken, hitting Rose’s rock wall, the bullets passing through it, Graid pushing everyone away from their range with his superspeed.

A wave of energy shots from the enemy’s weapons follows as the girls from the class manage to dodge them and protect most of the civilians but ten of them are blown up on a molecular level, shocking everyone else.

Rose launches forward in that moment, waving with her hands as huge rock spikes emerge from the tunnel’s walls, ceiling and floor around the enemy’s group.

Rose: ‘-You seem to have forgotten that we’re underground and I’m at my strongest in this environment!!!’ (the third deviant smiles at her as he and his men step back when he smashes his fist in the wall next to him, Graid reaching their group just then)

Deviant 3: ‘-Let’s rearrange the environment a little, then, shall we?’

The tunnel is enveloped in crystals and all the rock spikes crumble, the other two deviants launching forward a big sphere of water and air, transforming it into ice, melted by Miluna’s acid.

In the mean time Graid crushes two of the soldiers in the wall behind them, pulling their weapons and ripping them apart with his superspeed, the explosions that follow obliterating all five of them, leading to the partial destruction of the tunnel’s crystal covering, the crystal deviant suddenly attacking him.

Graid: ‘-Finally, things are gonna get a little bit more interesting for me, too!!!’

A crystal two-headed bear is created by the freak in front of Summerbolt as he jumps and starts spinning very fast, forming a human drill, passing right through the creature and breaking it apart in shards.

The other two deviants receive a rocky fist in the face from Rose, Aria and Feoria crushing them aside with a kick after that, Turora grabbing both of them for the necks and weakening them with her deva, finished off by Miluna’s acid.

The whole group moves back, now looking at the fight between Graid and his opponent, receiving an awesome head-butt from the ‘summer bolt’, crushing all the crystal armor there.

Lots of crystal tornadoes appear around the bastard, shooting crystal blades and shuriken in all directions, Rose protecting everyone with rock walls as her son moves around all the attacks extremely fast. When he reaches his opponent, he smashes his fist in his groins, slamming him in the tunnel’s ceiling and finishing him off with a kick in the chest, breaking almost every bone in his rib-cage, the crystal covering of the tunnel disappearing with that.

The hole in the sealing disappears with a wave from Mrs. Summerbolt as the group gets to Graid, everyone moving together when they hear the crystal bastard’s evil laugh, turning to him.

Kairy D: ‘-What’s so funny? You didn’t achieve anything in the end!!’

Deviant 3: ‘-Oh yes, we did. We completed our task perfectly. There is a huge error in your plans, you see. It’s the decision to go underground that’s going to kill you!! I’ll burry all of you imbeciles right here and right now!!’ (he rips apart the upper part of his uniform, uncovering lots of straps with energy explosives that are tied to his body, pulling a metal string, activating them, shocking everyone)

Rose: ‘-Everyone … GET DOWN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Both the deviants and the civilians scream in that moment as the soldier keeps on laughing, the explosion that follows reaching the surface, creating a huge hole in the street, lots of smoke rising from it, all the villains there moving a little bit back. The commander of this group steps forward and folds his arms, laughing hideously.

Soldier 5: ‘-So far, so good!! Two of the Summerbolts are down!! I suppose their corpses will suffice for Deathaxe!!!’

‘A catastrophe beyond belief!! The villains finally succeed in getting rid of the biggest pest for them!! What will happen to Deckstoru now, after its defenders have perished?!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 33

CHAPTER 33: NEW TARGET

 We see Seiren and his younger brother, Goran, on the cover, hugging each other over the shoulder and smiling widely, wearing jeans and white T-shirts on which ‘Best bros ever!!’ is written with black letters, the sentence being split between the two’s T-shirts.

‘These two sure look great together but do they really get along as well as they seem to be?!’

  The tunnel dug underground by Rose is seen, where she is moving forward along with her son, the girls from ‘Earth class’ №1 and the civilians they’ve saved from the hotel on the beach earlier, Feoria, who’s lost her clothes in the last battle now wearing a man’s shirt and shorts, looking quite big on her.

‘As the one group of heroes fights on the beach, the other is making its way back to Deckstoru underground. Where exactly is their journey going to take them?!’

Zilli: ‘-Are you sure this is the right way, Mrs. Summerbolt?’

Rose: ‘-Of course. For the long years I’ve lived in this town I’ve studied its infrastructure very well and know it like the palm of my hand, whether up there or down here.’

Graid: ‘-We should reach our house soon enough.’

Violet: ‘-And why exactly are we going there?’

Rose: ‘-We need to arm everyone properly. The ones without combat-suitable devas and the ‘normal’ ones will help, too. There are no more innocent or helpless people. If you keep thinking as such, you’ll be the first to die.’

Turora: ‘-In the name of God!! What in the hell are you talking about?! We’re just kids!’

Graid: ‘-No. You were kids. The enemy doesn’t care about your age, sex or convictions. There is only one thing that really matters to them. (he becomes extremely serious while saying this and looking ahead) The complete destruction of this country.’

Miluna: ‘-So, do you know anything about ‘them’?’ (Rose and Graid look aside)

Rose: ‘-Quite a lot, actually. There will be a better time for discussions, though. The most important thing right now is to defend the city and try to evacuate as many people as we can from its vicinity.’

Feoria: ‘-Wow. You sure do sound like a war general.’ (Rose sighs)

Rose: ‘-I was one … a long time ago …’

Everyone is extremely shocked as the focus goes to the central parts of the city, the enemy attack raging there with full force as dull green energy shells, shots and rays are shot in all directions, blowing up the buildings around and destroying the people inside.

As pieces of different things are tossed around the air, Goran is seen, running forward when a shell hits right in front of him, exploding and throwing him aside, the young lad having escaped death thanks to his deva – golden-brown spike-like blades that have covered half of his body, jumping up and moving on.

Goran: ‘-Well, that was a close one!!’

  He then hears a strange noise, turning around and seeing that there’s a whole group of villains behind him, pointing their energy weapons at him as Blackscale covers his entire body in spike-like blades and launches to his opponents, dodging some of their attacks while the rest hit him, neutralized by his armor.

Goran: ‘-Too bad for you, guys!! You’ve messed with the wrong Deckstorian!!!’

He reaches one of them and cuts his face very deep with his fists, kicking him back and grabbing his weapon that’s been tossed up, blowing up the soldiers around him on a molecular level, getting ready to finish the last of them when a blue spike hits the weapon.

The teenager looks at it with confusion when its energy filter starts glowing in bright green and he throws it aside, jumping back from the explosion, seeing the freak nearby, wearing the same kind of uniform like the deviants back at the beach. There are three large blue spikes protruding from each of his shoulders, one – from each elbow and pointing down to his wrists, and two smaller ones above each ear, his eyes glowing in dull green energy.

Deviant 1: ‘-Going somewhere, kid?’

Goran: ‘-You’re a deviant, too, aren’t you? Why are you attacking me then?!’ (the villain smiles in a hideous way)

Deviant 1: ‘-None of you will see any mercy from us. You are all going to die and the world as you know it is going to disappear!!!!!’ (Goran moves a step back with an angry expression, taking a battle stance)

Goran: ‘-Is that so? I won’t show you any mercy either, then.’

The two of them launch to each other, clashing their fists, the bastard’s elbow spike cutting Blackscale’s arm, kicking him back and creating spikes that are coming out of his palms, attacking the lad, trying to doge all of his attacks.

Deviant 1: ‘-What’s the matter?! I thought you were going to show me no mercy!!’

Goran: ‘-Patience, darling!!’

The freak only then realizes that his opponent has led him to a burning vehicle, exploding seconds later and ripping off parts of the boy’s clothes without damaging him. He takes advantage of his enemy’s temporary distraction, crushing a right uppercut in his chin, throwing him up and smashing his elbow in his face when he falls down, kicking him in the stomach and getting ready to deliver a finishing blow.

One of the villain’s spikes pierces his shoulder then, the one protruding from his other palm getting closer to his chest as he pushes him to a wall nearby, Goran managing to stop him for the time being. The two of them give their best to succeed in each one’s task – to kill and to survive.

Goran: ‘-You don’t give up easy, do ya?!’

Deviant 1: ‘-Neither do you!!’

Seiren’s brother manages to head-butt him, the spike almost piercing his chest with that but he moves aside, breaking off the one that’s already in his shoulder and twisting the freak’s other arm, piercing him very deep in the stomach and pushing him down.

Blackscale then starts to walk aside as his opponent starts crawling and trying to get up with zero success.

Deviant 1: ‘-Wait. (Goran stops and turns to him) You fight quite well, boy. And you remind me of someone. What’s your name?’

Goran: ‘-I’m Goran Blackscale, son of Serego Blackscale!!’ (the evil deviant is very shocked, hearing this)

Deviant 1: ‘-Serego … The Lizard Lord?!! You’re his son?!!’ (Goran nods)

Goran: ‘-Yeah, that’s right. But I don’t know anything about that ‘Lizard Lord’ stuff you just said.’ (the freak then smiles)

Deviant 1: ‘-It appears that there are other dangerous guys around here except the Summerbolts!! Things will definitely be getting even more interesting from now on!!’ (while he’s saying that, a group of soldiers has appeared nearby, noticing Goran and going after him)

Soldier 1: ‘-Hey!! There’s a survivor there!!’

Soldier 2: ‘-Kill him!!’

Soldier 3: ‘-Don’t you even think about running, kid!!’ (Goran runs aside and some of the bastards follow him, the others staying with their wounded comrade)

Soldier 4: ‘-Who was that boy? Did he do this to you?!’

Deviant 1: ‘-We’ve got a new target, boys. That kid’s a Blackscale and he’s got lots of potential!! We must capture him at all costs!!’ (the soldiers goggle their eyes in shock)

Soldier 5: ‘-If that’s true, we must contact the general and inform him of this unexpected development!!’

Deckstoru’s coast is seen, the focus going to the place where the six deviants were killed by the first attack group in the last chapter, a few girls appearing nearby, then suddenly stopping and looking ahead in terror as the corpses start dissolving into dull green energy.

Girl 1: ‘-Wh-what is this thing?!!’

All five of them scream of horror as a boot with lots of animal fur attached to it steps on the sand near them, heavy breathing being heard from the creature to whom it belongs.

Deathaxe: ‘-Silence, you scum!! (a ray of dark energy is shot forward, destroying the girls’ bodies completely, a beeping sound being heard after that and a massive hand, covered in a black glove pulls out a small disk-shaped device, projecting a multi-colored misty image, turning out to be one of the soldiers) What is it?’

Soldier 4: (vision) ‘-We have discovered an interesting target and are currently in pursuit. His name is Goran Blackscale. He’s the son of Serego, ‘The Lizard’.’

Deathaxe: ‘-Now that’s some really great news!!! I’ll be right there!! (the demonic general is then seen in full, covered in armor from head to heels, having lots of spikes on it and animal fur covering different parts along with a huge black cape, his small white eyes flashing amidst the darkness of his helmet) This war ought to be very fun indeed!!! Ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!’

‘A sudden new turn!!! The enemy forces’ newest target is none other than Seiren’s younger brother!! Why is it that they want him so bad and what fate awaits him?!’

CHAPTER 32: KILL WITHOUT MERCY

 Yuki, Hikaru, Iziya and Graid are seen on the cover, sitting on the table in the Summerbolts’ house and talking about something, laughing while Saya and Rose are serving their dinner with angry faces.

‘In every family there are those that are doing all the work and those that are just sitting around and the Summerbolts are no exception!! See for yourselves!!’

  The beach is seen, where a phoenix-solar flame explosion erupts, the group’s six opponents being thrown in different directions from it as Saya and Zoran step forward amidst the smoke.

‘Deviant vs. deviant!! The most horrible clash one can imagine!! What other tricks is the enemy hiding?!’

The hooded one with a white energy deva explodes in lots of clones made of his element, passing by the others and reaching the boys’ group.

The two hooded ones whose powers are still unknown rip their cloaks off, transforming into huge, very muscled lizard-like creatures, the one with the red skin launching ahead waves of black rock spikes emerging from the ground, the one with the black skin – a river of lava.

Yonira creates a rock wall to stop the combined attack while Annabel shoots hundreds of light shots at their opponents, smiling decisively as they’re cut multiple times. The girls are shocked when they see how the lizard duo’s wounds are healing rapidly, smoke rising from their bodies.

Hooded one 5: ‘-Did you really think you could take us down with an attack like that, damn brats?!!’

Yuki is fighting hand-to-hand with the icy bastard, both of them freezing parts of the ground around them with every hit they strike when the baby doll jumps behind him, smashing an awesome kick in his throat, ripping it apart but it turns out that’s an ice clone. The clone transforms into a mini-iceberg, pushing her back to where the original is, getting ready to crush her skull with a huge rock he’s found nearby.

Hooded one 1: ‘-It appears that this battle’s outcome can’t be decided by our devas, little girl. Sorry but you’ll just have to …’ (she stops the rock with her fist, cracking it and shocking the deviant, turning to him with a most decisive expression)

Yuki: ‘-I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint you because I’ve got other skills as well. (she crushes the rock, kicking him in the stomach and throwing him up, his chest smashed in her fist, the bastard falling down and spilling lots of blood, kicked in the nearby dune by the baby doll in the end) Lesson number one: NEVER UNDERESTIMATE A SUMMERBOLT!!!!’

In the mean time the boys’ six is facing off against the deviant with the white energy deva, his clones hitting each of them a few times, after which he absorbs them back into his body, shooting a wide white energy ray, stopped by Seiren and Exo’s devas.

The villain reaches their friends with his very fast teleportation a second later, piercing Vega in the stomach with his energy daggers, kicking King in the head as Tokura attacks him from the back, the two of them teleporting around to the max and hitting each other constantly. Eventually, the ladies’ man is thrown aside by his opponent, all beaten up, the freak getting ready to finish him off when Hikaru pierces him with a lightning bolt in the back, the bolt exploding from his chest, King grabbing him and enlarging his fist, crushing the bastard’s skull, blood splashing aside.

The focus goes to Reimei, who’s running towards Annabel and Yonira, held in the hands of the lizards with lots of injuries and unconscious, about to be crushed by their grip when a few water bullets pierce the bastards, shocking them. The red-haired beauty teleports in front of them with a water explosion, cutting them with thousands of ultra-thin water disks, smashing them in the ground when a black rock giant with streams of lava running around his body is formed next to her, attacking the young Scarlettail.

From there, Saya and Zoran are seen, fighting against the two fire deviants, the headmaster attacking them with lots of phoenix flame shots, covered by the solar flame shields of Mrs. Summerbolt. Huge fire blades burst from the ground beneath them as it turns out that the enemies they had been fighting so far are just clones, the same being valid for the two heroes, the originals clashing nearby.

Saya smashes her burning fist in her opponent’s face, Zoran kicking his in the chest, pulling him back with his chains and beating him up brutally, afterwards the two of them getting the bastards together and crushing them in the rock behind as a double fire drill. When they step back from the ripped apart dead bodies, they see the boys are running towards them along with Yuki, Vega being supported by Hukaru and Tokura, the focus going back to Reimei, fighting against the rock-lava monster.

She dodges a few huge lava shuriken and black boulders, landing on the giant’s head and shooting an extremely concentrated water stream down, cutting it in half, making it explode and then jumping aside, walking back to her comrades. The two lizard-like villains, who have now returned to their human forms suddenly spring back up, creating bows and arrows from their elements, getting ready to hit the red-haired beauty in the back, the hot-heads noticing that.

Hikaru: ‘-Mei, get down!!!’

Reimei turns around in the moment in which the arrows are shot at her, Yuki landing there and smashing both of them to pieces with her icy fists although the baby doll’s hands are slightly burned by the lava, Seiren landing by the monsters and ripping apart their chests with his palms, enveloped in red fireworks.

Seiren: ‘-What are you doing, Mei?! Why didn’t you kill them?!!’ (Reimei looks at him with confusion)

Reimei: ‘-But we won, didn’t we? They can’t harm us anymore. What point is there in killing them, then?’ (Saya puts her hand on her shoulder, Scarlettail now turning to her)

Saya: ‘-Mei, I want you to listen to me very carefully. KILL THEM WITHOUT ANY MERCY. (Reimei is unbelievably shocked as Saya looks at the enemies’ corpses, screwing her eyes in anger) These people … these deviants … not one of them is really a living creature. They’re not like us. They’ve all died quite a while ago. I can guarantee you that. They are nothing but tools and as such will do anything they can to kill every single one of us, to their last breath.’

Seiren: ‘-Let’s try and question them before they totally kick the bucket. They can tell us more about the enemy.’ (two shots of phoenix fire are shot at their heads, blowing them up and making Seiren jump aside in horror)

Zoran: ‘-There’s no point. We already know who our enemy is.’

Hikaru: ‘-Who is our enemy, then?! What do you know about them?! Why?!’ (Zoran and Saya look aside)

Saya: ‘-When this battle’s over, I’ll tell you everything. We can’t hide the truth from you. Not anymore.’

Iziya: ‘-Now’s not the time for this. We need to gather the whole class and their families together and decide how we’re going to proceed from here on.’

Vega: ‘-Let’s go, then!!!’ (Exo takes Annabel and King – Yonira, the whole group moving forward, beyond the beach)

‘Saya’s words echo back in everyone’s minds!! In order to survive this war, our heroes will have to go beyond the limits of humaneness and forget about mercy!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 31

CHAPTER 31: SECRET WEAPON

 We see Vega and King on the cover, standing back to back, both of them wearing aprons and chef hats, having folded their arms, the drunken bastard holding a mixer and the maniacal giant – a ladle, equally serious.

‘Vega, King: ‘-We’re going to have an argument only when you learn to cook (and drink!!) just as well as we can!!’

Not that the second one is really that important!!’

  The wood beyond the beach is seen, a great battle between Rose, Graid and most of the girls from Yuki’s class and the enemy’s forces taking place, everything around them being enveloped in flames.

‘The fight goes on!! Reinforcements come for both sides but who will triumph in the end in this melee?!!’

Rose: ‘-Come on, girls!! Show these bastards what you’re made of!!!’

Zilli and Violet launch ahead waves of blue and purple smoke, acid shots exploding among them by the hundreds, burning the soldiers and their weapons, new bright green energy explosions erupting in the area while Feoria moves around the flames absolutely free.

Turora and Aria back her up against a group of opponents, all three of them using only hand-to-hand combat, the beauty with short black hair smashing the heads of two opponents in each other, kicking their weapons from their hands and catching them, blowing them up on a molecular level. The beauty with long black hair headbutts one of her enemies and then hits him in the stomach, using her life-stealing deva on him and weakening him greatly, tripping up another bastard and piercing him in the back, applying the same tactic.

Her eyes start glowing in purple as the pony-tail beauty makes a group of soldiers chase her to the fire, jumping at them then covered in flames and burning each of them with every hit. She crashes the first one’s skull and pushes him to the second one, dodging a few shots which blow both of them up. Feoria spins around the third one and drags his head back, smashing her knee in his neck, after that crushing his  knees with her feet, finishing him with a hit in the temple. An explosion erupts behind her and slams her in the ground, making her sigh.

Feoria: ‘-Uh, this isn’t going well!!!’

Graid appears in front of her with a most decisive smile, exhaling lots of smoke from his mouth and holding three soldiers by the uniforms in each hand, throwing their bodies aside and holding out his arm.

Graid: ‘-Not like that, kid. It’s far too soon for you to even start thinking about giving up.’

She takes his hand and gets up, smiling decisively back at him as the two run forward, the focus going to Rose, creating lots of rock spikes and piercing the soldiers around her when an energy sword is thrown at her, blocked by a stone wall, the blade exploding and destroying the wall, pushing her back. The moment she turns around, she realizes that an energy weapon is pointed at her from point-blank range, shocking her. The rocky lady’s son passes through the bastard that’s about to shoot her, throwing him tens of meters ahead, carrying Feoria on his back.

Graid: ‘-Good thing you’ve got such a good son to take care of you, you old hag!!!’

Rose: ‘-Save the bullshit for later, will you? Come on. I’ve dug a tunnel!!’

(she points at the hole in the ground near her as Graid jumps aside in comical terror and Feoria falls from his back)

Graid: ‘-A tunnel? Y-you mean … u-underground … down there … ?!’ (Rose looks at him with confusion)

Rose: ‘-What’s the matter with you, all of a sudden? Since when are you scared of going underground?’

Graid: ‘-For as long as I can remember!!! I’m not going down there, no matter what!!’ (Miluna jumps up behind him, pushing him in the hole, followed by the rest of the girls)

Miluna: ‘-Yeah, yeah, we’ll worry about that later!!’

Zilli: ‘-And now it’s time to get the hell out of here!!!’ (the civilians go down in the tunnel underground as well, the group moving forward, led by Rose as Turora turns to Feoria with comical shock and embarrassment)

Turora: ‘-Feo, um … your clothes …’ (Feoria looks down in that moment, blushing a lot as everyone is now looking at her, including Graid, his skull getting cracked by his comically angry mother’s rocky fist)

Rose: ‘-Don’t you dare look, imbecile!!! (she turns to the men from the group with a dreadful look) You, too!!! (the men nod while trembling in terror and looking aside, the group moving forward again) We won’t delay any further. We’ll go this way. First, we have to get back to the town.’

Aria: ‘-What about the boys, the rest of the girls and our sensei? They’re still back at the beach.’ (Rose keeps walking forward with a decisive smile)

Rose: ‘-We’ll be reunited with them soon enough. Just you wait.’

The focus goes to the beach, where the girls’ four is walking ahead calmly along with Zoran and Saya and the boys’ six is dragging itself behind, supporting each other in twos: King-Vega, Tokura-Exo and Seiren-Hikaru. All of them are breathing heavily but apart from that, the last two are looking at each other and gritting their teeth in a most comical angry way.

Hikaru: ‘-How come you’re helping me, perverted freak?!’

Seiren: ‘-It’s quite simple, really!! Cuz you’re a weak piece of shit!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-If I wasn’t so tired, I would rip off that head of yours!!!’

Yuki: ‘-God, they never stop. I just don’t know which one to smack first.’

Saya: ‘-Trust me, Yu, each one deserves it equally so you might as well smack both of them.’ (Reimei is looking aside and is smiling slightly while blushing)

Reimei: ‘-Well, yeah, but don’t you thing they’re kind of cute like that?’ (Yuki and Saya turn to her in comical shock, Annabel and Yonira jumping behind them and looking pretty much the same)

Yonira: ‘-Wow, Mei, you sure are quite voracious!!’

Annabel: ‘-First Suru and now even Sele … we’ll have to be careful with you, baby!!!’ (Reimei steps aside, looking even more bashful)

Reimei: ‘-No … it’s nothing like that, really … I just …’

Six silhouettes jump from the low hill near them, landing in front of the group, all of them being covered in black cloaks and hoods beneath which dull green eyes are shining, confusing the hot-heads.

Vega: ‘-Uh, who the fuck are these assholes?! Didn’t we kill all of them already?’ (the hooded bastards step forward, removing their hoods and showing the dull green energy cracks on their faces and the symbols tattooed on their foreheads)

Hooded one 1: ‘-Far from it, kid.’

Hooded one 2: ‘-I think you should be wondering how we haven’t killed you yet!!’

Hooded one 3: ‘-Not to worry, though. We’ll get to that soon enough.’ (Iziya steps forward, winds spinning around her fists as she looks more destructive than ever)

Iziya: ‘-Is that so? Well let’s see you try it then, babies!!!!’

Saya: ‘-Izy, wait!!!’

An aerial typhoon is shot ahead at that time as the hooded one that’s closest to it raises his hand and an ice wall protects him from the attack, fire typhoons shot by two of his comrades, blocked by Saya’s solar flames. After that she launches forward, followed by Yuki and Zoran.

Yuki: ‘-Deviants?!’

Zoran: ‘-It is as I feared!!!’

Fire shots are now launched at the trio, ripped apart by the headmaster’s phoenix flames, landing on the one fire deviant and tying the other one up with lots of fire chains while Yuki tries to smash the ice deviant’s face with her fist when he envelopes himself in ice, making her attack pointless.

The freak then tries to pierce the baby doll with his ice blades, faced by Saya who’s teleported in front of her, giving him a burning head-butt, pushing him back to the other three. A wind sphere is formed there thanks to Iziya, trapping all four of them.

Iziya: ‘-Air deva: Wind pulse bomb!!!!!’

The sphere trembles for a moment before becoming very small, exploding in thousands of small but very sharp wind blades, ripping apart everything in their range as lots of smoke rises there.

When the smoke disappears, a barrier of lava coulee and black rocks is seen, the quarter standing behind it with zero damage, the one who has been standing furthest in the back now stepping forward, exploding in white energy, symbols forming on his arms and face as he and his comrades start laughing villainously.

Hooded one 6: ‘-It that all you’ve got?! I expected more from the Summerbolts and their allies!!’

‘Every next enemy is way stronger than the last!! Again facing members of their own kind, will the heroes manage to overcome this obstacle as well?!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 30

CHAPTER 30: COUNTER-OFFENSIVE BEGINS!

 We see Hikaru on the cover, wrapped up in bandages entirely like a mummy with only his eyes and mouth being visible, the mouth filled with very sharp teeth while utter madness can be read in his eyes and he’s smiling in a most villainous way, waving his hands around as the inside of a tomb can be seen with an open sarcophagus.

‘It’s because of people like him that horror movies are no longer the same!!!’

  The wood that spans beyond Deckstoru’s coast is seen as the fire continues to grow and everyone looks in shock towards Graid and Rose, stepping forward just when lots of soldiers come in from several directions.

‘The strongest deviant family is back in action!! It’s time for the hot-heads to strike back at their beloved city’s attackers!!’

Feoria: ‘-You guys are the best!! Really!!!’ (Rose and Graid become serious as the enemies have almost reached them)

Rose: ‘-If you’re done celebrating our arrival, those that can fight properly, come and back us up!! This fight is far from over!!’

Feoria, Violet, Zilli, Aria and Miluna gather around them, now joined by the girl with the longest and blackest hair in the class – Turora, equally decisive and serious.

Turora: ‘-Let’s get to it, then!!!’

The duo bursts forward, followed by the six girls as the focus goes to the other two duos, their few remaining opponents being finished off by air streams and solar flame shots.

Annabel: ‘-Mrs. Summerbolt!! Izy!!!’ (Iziya first looks at her with confusion and then becomes comically mad)

Iziya: ‘-Why, you little bitch!! How come she’s ‘Mrs. Summerbolt’ and I’m just ‘Izy’, huh?!!?!’ (Saya chuckles quietly to herself while moving aside and Annabel trembles in comical fear against the monstrously looking Iziya)

Annabel: ‘-Well, it’s just that … I didn’t really know if you were married and what your last name was, so …’

Iziya: ‘-Yeah, it’s the same, damn brat!! And it doesn’t matter what my last name is!! I’ll always be a Summerbolt, you got that?!!’ (Annabel nods, still comically terrified)

Saya: ‘-Alright then, girls. Now tell me where that dumb bastard and the baby doll are!!’ (Annabel and Yonira look at each other with comical puzzlement)

Yonira: ‘-You mean Yuki and Hikaru?’

Annabel: ‘-They’re back at the beach, along with the rest of the boys and our sensei, fighting against those scumbags that are attacking our town!!!’ (Saya goggles her eyes in extraordinary shock, turning aside and crushing her one hand’s first in the other one’s palm, looking more comically angry than ever)

Saya: ‘-Those imbecilic bastards!!!!!! I’m gonna go and beat the shit out of all of them!!!!! (the two girls and her sister tremble in comical fear as she turns to them, looking more dreadful by the second) You three!!! You’re coming with me!! NOW!!!!!’

Yonira: ‘-So scary ……’

Annabel: ‘-We’re right behind you, Mrs. Summerbolt. Just spare our lives …’ (Iziya slaps her face with her palm in comical desperation)

Iziya: ‘-I can’t believe that after all these years even I’m still scared of her.’

The focus goes to the beach where Tokura is teleporting around the enemy’s attacks, clashing with a few of them and pushing them back, another group getting fried by Hikaru’s lightning bolts, King jumping out of the remains of a crushed enemy ship, attacking the soldiers that are currently fighting against Vega from the back. Lots of huge gray-skinned monsters are coming from the side when Yuki and Seiren face them, first frozen and then blown up in their devas, two ships being cut and falling down thanks to Exo and Reimei’s ultra-thin and long metal and water blades.

A roar is heard from somewhere as all the hot-heads look up and jump aside, seeing that Zoran’s falling from the skies in his phoenix form, dragging down three burning ships along with lots of bright red clouds and tens of fire typhoons.

The explosion that follows his impact with the ground leads to the compete decimation of the beach, everyone jumping on King’s body, the giant getting to the group of rocks on the other end of the beach with his superspeed, his classmates then falling off him.

The headmaster returns to his human form and starts walking as calmly as possible through the fire, his own flames protecting him from the bright green energy explosions that burst around him.

In the mean time the eight classmates take a deep breath, King returning to his normal form and falling on the sand along with the rest of the boys, Yuki and Reimei looking at them with confusion.

Yuki: ‘-Guys, you alright?’

Hikaru: ‘-Ha … this shit’s a lot more tiring than I thought, actually.’

Seiren: ‘-I’m out of gas, too. We’ve never faced so many opponents at the same time.’

Tokura: ‘-It’s our second really big battle, after all! Feeling crushed is only natural.’

Vega: ‘-By the way, how come you two are not tired at all, considering you’re girls, too?’ (Yuki and Reimei fold their arms with a proud look on their faces)

Yuki: ‘-I’m a superhuman, so I’ve got way more stamina than you, guys. There’s no way I can get tired that easily.’

Reimei: ‘-Using my deva on this level isn’t even a warm-up for me and besides, I’ve got a huge body of water right next to me and there’s no need for me to create water which to use while fighting. ‘ (the boys’ six sighs with comically puzzled expressions)

King: ‘-Well now I feel embarrassed!! For two girls to be stronger than us!! Damn, son!!’

Exo: ‘-I’m fine with that. At least I’m not pretending to be strong.’ (Zoran lands nearby, reaching the group and smiling decisively)

Zoran: ‘-How’re we doin’, brats? Not too good, the way I see it!!’ (Yuki and Reimei hug each other over the shoulder, smiling widely)

Yuki, Reimei: ‘-We’re just fine, sensei!!’ (they wink at him in a very cute way as he claps with his hands, smiling back at the duo)

Zoran: ‘-Well done, girls!! That’s the spirit!! (he turns to the boys, looking very stern while they suddenly get angry) And you boys … YOU’RE BEING UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!!!’

The boys sigh again as an explosion erupts amidst the rocks above them, Saya, Iziya, Annabel and Yonira jumping down and landing next to the main group, the fiery mom going to her son with extreme comical anger as everyone is comically terrified, including Zoran.

Zoran: ‘-Okay now, Saya. Look, just calm down. I told them …’ (she pushes him aside with a fire wave, reaching Hikaru and giving him an awesome head-butt)

Saya: ‘-You damn idiot!!!!!!!!!’ (Hikaru roars in pain with a comical beaten-up expression)

Hikaru: ‘-Mom, what kind of welcoming is that, huh?!!’ (Saya roars at his face, destroying the ground around her, even mover comically mad)

Saya: ‘-I’ll blow your brains out!! It doesn’t look like you’re using it in particular, anyway!!! This place has turned into a warzone!! We’re faced with thousands of enemies, people are dying everywhere!! And seeing all this, what do you do?! You charge straight into the enemy’s ranks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-What was I supposed to do, then?! Just run away and cower in fear?!! I thought the Summerbolts never gave up!!!! It’s our duty to defend the city!!!’ (Saya slaps him in the face and after he’s fallen back on the ground, she starts kicking him in different places, the mad genius already smoking and swollen from her attacks)

Saya: ‘-Dumbass!!! You’re not ready for this war yet!! You should’ve come straight back home so we can deal with this together!! Instead, you went and dragged Yuki into all of this, AGAIN!!!!!!! You endangered your classmates as well!!! Do you even realize how idiotic that is?!!?! (she then turns aside and sighs, calming down and hugging Yuki who hugs her too) Yu, are you okay? (they split up as the fiery mom looks at the baby doll with a worried face and she shakes her head, Mrs. Summerbolt sighing with relief) Good. Why didn’t you come back home?’ (Hikaru crawls to them, raising his arm with a comical angry expression)

Hikaru: ‘-She was the first one to follow me and you hug her?!!! Yeah, that’s very just!!!’ (Saya kicks him in the jaw, finishing him off, comically angry once again)

Saya: ‘-Shut up, you bastard!! I’m talking to Yuki right now!!’ (the rest of the boys get up and sigh while Reimei is still comically terrified)

Reimei: ‘-I know I shouldn’t intervene in family rows and all but isn’t that going a little bit too far?’ (Seiren pats her shoulder with comical desperation)

Seiren: ‘-Don’t worry, Mei. Those two are like that all the time. You’ll get used to it. After all, Hikaru’s gotten used to being beaten up constantly by now.’

Yuki: ‘-I’m sorry, mom. Hikaru just charged recklessly and I had to go help him since I couldn’t stop him, like always.’

Hikaru: ‘-So it’s my fault now?!!’ (Saya turns to him again)

Saya: ‘-Isn’t it always, pig-headed boy?!!’ (she envelopes her fist in solar flames with a comical angry expression and gets ready to hit him again, Reimei stopping her, having transformed her hand into water entirely, lots of smoke rising and the flames disappearing soon enough, shocking everyone)

Reimei: ‘-I’m sorry for interrupting, Mrs. Summerbolt, but I really think that was enough. Hikaru was the one that inspired us and lead us into battle. The others wouldn’t have probably charged in the fight so quickly if it wasn’t for him and we’ve managed to pull through so far thanks to his support. Therefore, I don’t think he deserves all of the reproach you’ve been giving him.’ (Saya steps back as Reimei goes to Hikaru and helps him get up)

Saya: ‘-Reimei, right? (she holds out her arm and the two of them shake hands, smiling) I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced. I’m Saya Summerbolt.’

Reimei: ‘-Reimei Scarlettail, at your service, Mrs. Summerbolt. It’s a pleasure to meet you.’

Saya: ‘-Make sure you watch over that crazy kid next to you from here on as well and to protect him, even from me. I can tell that you care greatly for him.’ (everyone looks at her while Reimei looks aside and blushes)

Reimei: ‘-Please, don’t talk like that. We’re just friends.’

‘Is it possible that there’s more to this than Reimei would care to admit?!

If so, what exactly?! There’s already another mystery on the horizon!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 29

CHAPTER 29: ESCAPE

 We see Exo on the cover, wearing a dressing-gown, sitting on a big chair in front of a fireplace on the wall behind which a portrait of him is placed while he’s reading a book with great interest and a wide smile of pleasure in the same time.

‘Exo: ‘-Oh, how great it is to take a break after the long work day by the fireplace with a good book to read! Hey, hold on! I’m starting to sound like some old geezer!!’’

  The still peaceful and filled with joy central parts of Deckstoru are seen, the focus going to the city’s central square and its highest building nearby – the ‘Eura Kin’ tower, the light from its top reaching for tens of miles ahead. Thousands of people are just walking around, visiting the stores, workshops, cafes, pubs and the other fun places around them, everyone having a great time.

‘Here, in this calm place, everyone is still totally unaware. The fires of war will reach the people here too soon enough, though, just like it has already happened with the coast …’

Amongst the people walking by is Seiren’s younger brother, Goran, with his hands in his pockets, looking around indefinitely when he hears a strange noise and looks up, seeing the huge ships of the enemy forces that are approaching. His shock turns to uneasiness soon enough as he takes a few steps back.

Goran: ‘-Wow, wow … this doesn’t look good at all. What’s with these weird ships around Deckstoru?’

A man bumps in him and pushes him aside with an angry expression as the younger heir of the Blackscale family turns around and starts running as fast as he can in the opposite direction, looking even more worried.

Goran: ‘-I need to get back home ASAP!!! Big brother Seiren, you better be alright!!!’

The focus goes to the beach from there on, where Zoran dodges lots of the energy shots from the cannons of one of the enemy’s ships after which a square hole opens in the aircraft’s hull, three huge gray monsters armed with high-tech manes jumping out of it.

The headmaster transforms in his phoenix form, incinerating the freaks by just spreading his wings, shooting their manes back to the inside of the ship, causing damage there. He himself then slips in and starts wreaking havoc inside when lots of high caliber energy weapons are pointed at him.

After that it’s seen how Hikaru and Seiren are standing on two different ships and are directing them towards each other through their devas, smiling in an equally villainous and destructive way.

Seiren: ‘-This time I’ll definitely kill you!!!!!!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-We’ll see about that!!!!!! Come!!!!!!!’

As the ships clash and cause an awesome lightning-firework explosion, back on the ground Yuki is fighting against the soldiers side by side with Reimei, Vega, King, Exo and Tokura doing the same nearby as the focus goes to the rest of the girls from their class afterwards.

They’re running through a small wood that spans beyond the beach along with the other civilians when they suddenly stop because the group’s leader, Violet has done so. (note: this girl is the second most well-endowed girl in the class, the first being Reimei, and she panics a lot)

Zilli, her best friend, the proudest girl in the class and also third in terms of breast size, stands by her, looking around with confusion.

Zilli: ‘-What’s the matter, baby?’ (Violet screws her eyes with a very serious expression)

Violet: ‘-I’m not sure. I just have the feeling that we’re not alone.’

The two of them nod to each other and wave with their hands as blue smoke starts forming around Violet and purple smoke – around Zilli, spreading more and more around them and the group of civilians. Miluna, the girl with the darkest skin in the class steps forward as well when lights explode amidst the smoke, shocking everyone.

Zilli: ‘-Shit!!!’

Violet: ‘-I really hate it when I’m right!!!!’

Miluna: ‘-Disperse!!!!’

Each girl jumps in a different direction as the people go after each of them and enemies emerge amidst the smoke, launching lots of dull green energy shots from their weapons and setting quite a few trees ablaze soon enough.

A few of the ‘normal’ people are blown up on a molecular level by the enemy’s attacks as the fire spreads and the girls keep moving when a small boy trips and falls on the ground. Aria goes back to help him when a freak armed with an energy sword gets ready to strike her down, burned severely by the acid rain created by Miluna’s acid deva, helping her classmate get up and then all three of them run forward.

Annabel manages to push back quite a few of the bastards with her light deva, tying them up in extremely strong light chains and crushing them in the burning trees. As the flames reach their weapons, bright green energy explosions erupt around the light beauty when a stone wall appears in front of her, Yonira, the girl with the curliest hair in the class and an earth deva standing by her side with a decisive smile.

Yonira: ‘-Looks like you could use a little help, Ann!!’ (Annabel smiles decisively back at her)

Annabel: ‘-Ah, why not? Just so you know, though, you and I’ve still got a score to settle!!’ (Violet jumps out of a blue smoke explosion between them, her breasts crushing the two girls’ faces while she is most comically terrified, running aside after that and leaving them totally comically puzzled)

Violet: ‘-Stop fighting, will you?!! We need to get out of here right now!!!’

Tens of villains surround the two by that time while the fire expands further and the focus goes to the group led by Feoria, the girl from the class that always keep her hair tied up in a pony tail, supporting a wounded woman as the rest of the people keep moving forward. They’ve almost reached the end of the wood when a few trees fall down, blocking their path and a group of enemies is coming up from behind them at the same time.

Just then, Aria and Miluna show up with more people, seeing Feoria’s angry face.

Feoria: ‘-Girls, help me deal with these trees!!!’

The duo nods as Miluna spills acid waves from her mouth, Aria heals the wounded woman and Feoria runs forward as her skin starts glowing in red and smoke stars rising from her body. She manages to go through the fire thanks to her heat-absorptive deva and destroys the remains of the trees with a few punches and kicks, landing on the other side and giving a sign to the others to follow her, throwing aside what’s left of her clothes.

Feoria: ‘-Come on, people!! Follow me!!!!’

The group moves forward after that when ten huge gray monsters block their path, these ones wearing high-tech armor on different parts of their bodies, terrifying everyone.

In the mean time, Annabel and Yonira who have fallen behind are trying to push back the huge numbers of enemies that have gathered around them.

Seconds later a fire-aerial typhoon crushes in the bastards and throws them around, burning and cutting them at the same time while back at the where the other group is, waves of rock spikes emerge from the ground around the monsters and pierce them, finished off by the extremely strong punches of a very fast silhouette.

Saya and Iziya appear in front of the duo and Rose and Graid – in front of the rest of the girls, smiling decisively.

Rose: ‘-Looks like we made it just in time!!’

Saya: ‘-Can’t you brats stop getting in trouble already?! It’s troublesome to keep saving your asses!!’

‘The Summerbolts save the day once again!! Their appearance has given hope to the girls from the Earthling group in the most desperate hour!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 28

CHAPTER 28: MAKE YOUR CHOICE

 We see Zoran and Saya on the cover, hugging each other over the shoulder and laughing while Graid, Iziya and Rose’s heads are seen sticking out above a fence nearby, all three of them observing what’s happening with comical suspicious expressions.

‘Zoran: ‘-Ah, the good old days. Do you wish things were like that again?’

Saya: ‘-Just a little.’

Rose: ‘-Shh!! We mustn’t be discovered!!’

‘These three follow her every move, no matter if it’s good or bad!!’

  The Summerbolt residence is seen, the focus going in the kitchen where Iziya and Rose are washing the dishes and talking, Saya and Graid setting the table in the adjoining living room.

‘Everything is normal, peaceful and quiet back at the Summerbolts’ home. That is because no one yet suspects of the horrible things that are to come!!’

Saya looks at the window with a worried face while her younger brother looks at her with confusion.

Graid: ‘-What’s the matter, big sis?’

Saya: ‘-I’m not sure. I just have a strange feeling that something horrible is going to happen soon.’ (Rose shouts to them from the kitchen then)

Rose: ‘-Come on, you two!! We’re ready to go!’ (the duo in the kitchen is seen again)

Iziya: ‘-We can’t slack off just cuz Suru ain’t home, you know!!’ (the focus turns back to the living room)

Graid: ‘-I’m sure he’s fine. Zoran’s with those kids, after all.’ (Saya hears a strange noise and then goes to the window and looks at the coast, covered in flames, the enemy’s biggest ships having already reached it, being shocked by that at first but then becoming extremely serious)

Saya: ‘-Oh, no. Here we go again.’

The focus goes to Deckstoru’s coast from there on, where explosions burst across the sea and from one of them which is a combination of phoenix flames, lightning bolts and red fireworks jump out Hikaru and Seiren, crushing their foreheads in one another with comical angry expressions.

Hikaru: ‘-Move, you perverted wretch!!!’

Seiren: ‘-Why don’t you move, damn monster?!!?!’ (Yuki passes by them on an ice blade wave, crushing the bastards around her as Zoran flies up, transforming in his phoenix form)

Yuki: ‘-Why don’t both of you just move, huh?!!’ (she grabs both of them and throws them on the wave behind her as they keep going against the black soldiers)

Seiren: ‘-Where’s Mei?’

Yuki: ‘-She went to the other end of the beach. Looks like a group of enemies has appeared there as well.’

The focus goes to the other end of the beach where lots of water typhoons have formed both on the surface and in the water, ripping apart the weapons of the soldiers in them and making them explode in bright green energy explosions as five huge gray monsters from the same type as the ones from the last chapter appear nearby, facing Reimei. She winks at them with a decisive smile, enveloping them in a water sphere and sending them up to one of the three incoming ships.

They’re crushed in the hull in a very severe way as she then sees the huge incoming crafts and runs back to the place on the beach where the rest of the team is fighting.

Reimei: ‘-Okay, I got their attention! Time to head back to where the others are!!’

The focus then goes to the running civilians, amongst which are the classmates of the fighting quartet, King suddenly stopping and confusing everyone.

King: ‘-Hold on, people! I can’t do this!! I’ve got to go back there and help them!! All of us have to defend this city. I was scared earlier but I won’t let that happen again!!!’

Vega: ‘-So what exactly are you suggesting? To go out there and kill ourselves together?’ (King pats Vega’s shoulder with a smile)

King: ‘-Haven’t we always done it that way, V?’ (Vega smiles decisively and nods as dull green energy explodes around him)

Vega: ‘-I like the sound of that, son!! For a moment there I thought the King I knew was gone!! There’s no way I’m letting you go out there alone after what we’ve been through!!’

Tokura: ‘-My favorite girls are fighting out there and Suru and Sele can’t protect them by themselves!! I’m this class’s ‘little’ battle ram, after all!! Time to show’em what I’m made of!!!’ (the trio gets ready to go back to the beach as the girls are preparing to follow them)

King: ‘-No, girls. When I meant ‘all of us’, I meant just us men. You have to take care of all these people and protect them, after all. (the trio then turns to Exo who’s looking aside) And you, Ex? You coming?’ (Exo suddenly turns to King)

Exo: ‘-Look, guys … I can really understand what you want to do. You want to help them. To fight alongside them. But let’s look at things logically first.’ (Vega goes to him and raises him from the ground with a very angry expression)

Vega: ‘-What logic are you talking about?! We’re being attacked in a way unlike anything this city has ever seen!! The peaceful times around here are over!! Logic can’t help us now, only our unity can!! Every deviant in this city must fight!! We men must fight to kick those bastards’ asses and the women … (he looks at the girls from their class) … they have to fight to protect the people of this city!!!’ (Exo looks at him in horror)

Exo: ‘-But we’re only going to end up dead that way!! I don’t want the things that happened during the Class battle to happen all over again!!’

Tokura: ‘-Ex, get a grip, will you? None of us meant for this to happen but it did. All that’s left now is to decide whether we’re gonna go down fighting or praying for mercy. I would rather be in the first group. What about you?’

Exo: ‘-Can’t we just run away?! Isn’t that the best option we’ve got?!’ (they hear lots of noises, looking back at the coast where two of the enemy ships have just crashed, exploding in lightning bolts and red fireworks)

King: ‘-Let him go, V!! We’ve got no time to lose!!! Everyone must make a choice for their selves now!!’

Vega nods and leaves Exo on the ground as the trio heads back to the beach and the girls and the rest of the civilians move in the opposite direction, leaving the techno-genius all alone.

Exo: ‘-Damn it!! What am I supposed to do?!!’

King reaches the beach soon enough, already in his giant form, carrying Vega and Tokura on his back and stopping when they see that another ship is falling right above them, equally comically shocked and terrified.

Vega: ‘-OK, King, you can move now!!!’

Tokura grabs King’s shoulder and Vega’s head, teleporting aside along with them, crushing in a dune as tens of soldiers gather around them in the matter of seconds.

The hot heads get up and smile decisively at each other, right after which they launch to their enemies, dull green energy shots being shot all over the place.

King grabs two villains in each hand and spins very fast, throwing them at another group of opponents, crushing the bones of four other freaks with his landing seconds later. He then kicks them in different directions as a wave of energy shots is launched to him, dodged through his superspeed, reaching the new attack group and beating the hell out of all of them with just a few punches.

Tokura teleports above a couple of attacks and after he lands back on the ground, lots of new shots are launched at him, crushing in his invisible energy shield and disappearing there with a few sparks. After that he faces two huge gray monsters head-on, pushing them way back with his shield and crushing them in the remains of one of the destroyed ships.

Vega slams one of his enemies on both sides of the head with his hands, blowing him up in dull green energy and then absorbing two of the shots fired at him, blowing out his cheeks and shooting a wide energy beam from his mouth, spinning and destroying everything around him. A group of villains armed with energy swords attack him from behind when he crushes his palms in the ground, creating a dull green energy explosion that consumes them all.

The trio is brought back together soon enough, smiling at each other while breathing heavily, seeing that another ship is about to crush in the place in which they’re standing, ripped apart by Reimei’s waves and Hikaru’s bolts, Yuki and Seiren destroying another one nearby.

Hikaru: ‘-What are you three doing here?!!’

Reimei: ‘-Get out of there, right now!!!’

They get ready to move when a new large group of enemies attacks them and they start fighting against the bastards as the ship closes in and Hikaru and Reimei can’t change its direction anymore. Just then metal blades emerge from the ground around the trio, cutting or piercing the enemies there, a huge metal sword cutting the ship in half just before it smashes them. They move away from the explosion just in time as Exo lands nearby with a decisive smile.

Vega: ‘-There he is, that son of a bitch!!’

Tokura: ‘-What’s going on?! Why are you here?!’

Exo: ‘-You were right, Everyone has to make a choice for themselves now. Well, I’ve made mine! I’m going to fight with you guys till the end!!! If we’re gonna go down, at least we’ll do it together!!’ (King lands in front of him and starts choking him with his grip as he hugs him with a most comically happy and dreamy expression, comically puzzling Vega and Tokura)

King: ‘-Oh, Ex, I’m so happy right now!!! I knew you’d come back!!! You even saved our lives, son!!!’

‘No more doubts and no more fear!! They will face Deckstoru’s enemies as a team and will defend their hometown at all costs!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 27

CHAPTER 27: ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION

 We see Yuki on the cover, sitting naked in a hot spring, the steam covering the loveliest parts of her body as she exhales of pleasure while Seiren is sneaking up nearby, smiling in an extremely villainous way, also naked.

‘There ain’t a greater experience than relaxing while being stalked by a sick pervert!! If you don’t think that’s true, ask this beauty over here!!’

  The explosions erupting around the hotel and then around the beach are seen, terrified screaming and shouting being heard from all over directions as all the members of ‘Earth class’ №1 return to their normal state in a second.

‘Yet another surprise for the craziest class of all!!! All the laughs and happiness from moments ago have now turned into panic and chaos, foreboding something dreadful …!!’

Zoran: ‘-Everyone, run, right now!!!’

The gang runs back to the inside of the hotel along with all the ‘normal’ people around them as dull green lights appear in the water, soldiers looking like the ones that fought aside the Nightsongs in the last arc and armed with the same type of weapons jumping out from them, shocking everyone.

Exo: ‘-Look out there!!! In the sea!!!’

Seiren: ‘-OK, now we’re in real big trouble!!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-No shit, son!!!’

Everyone gathers in the foyer, some spreading around the first floor while lots of rockets, shells and lasers are shot right at the hotel, making it explode soon enough. After that it’s seen how no one is harmed, Zoran having managed to defend them from the flames with his phoenix fire deva. He then looks ahead with anger, seeing that the soldiers are already walking on the sand, heading right for the survivors around the beach.

Yuki: ‘-Does anyone have any idea what’s going on over here?!!?!’

Vega: ‘-That revenge that Zoran-sensei was talking about … I think these guys have come here precisely because of that!!!!’

King: ‘-The question is what are we going to do about it?!’

Tokura: ‘-We need to get out of here right now!!! The longer we stay, the smaller our chances of survival are gonna be!!!’ (Hikaru stands in front of the whole group with an extremely angry expression, exhaling lots of smoke from his mouth as lightning bolts twist around him and veins protrude all over his body)

Hikaru: ‘-There’s no other way!! We’ll fight the bastards off!!!!!’

Annabel: ‘-Suru, you take at easy now, OK?!! Just look at the numbers of those guys out there!! This is on a whole different scale from what happened in ‘Nebula’!!’

Reimei: ‘-We don’t even know what their abilities are!!’

By that time Hikaru has already launched forward  with a wild roar, all his classmates going after him to stop the mad genius when lots of energy shots are sent to them and they start deflecting them with their devas. Explosions erupt all around them as the ‘normal’ people start running around in panic, many of them being hit by the shots, erasing them on a molecular lever, just a few sparks and piles of dust remaining after that.

Seiren: ‘-Holy shit!!! Those guns didn’t do that kind of stuff to us!!! They must be created specifically to kill ‘normal’ people!!!’

Zoran: ‘-Just like last time … those damn … !!!’

Hikaru: ‘-I don’t give a damn about their fuckin’ guns!!!! I’M A DEVIANT AND A SUMMERBOLT!!!!!!’ (he manages to dodge quite a few of the enemy’s attacks, reaching them and smashing his palms in the sand, electric shots bursting from it and hitting the bastards many times over, frying them)

The parts of their weapons from which the dull green energy filters can be seen start glowing in bright green, exploding in energetic explosions the next second and destroying their bodies.

Exo: ‘-That Suru’s just too dumb for someone so smart!!!’

Aria: ‘-And he’s gonna get us all killed!!!’

The people of the class move back except for Yuki who runs straight ahead, heading for Hikaru, Reimei looking around and wondering what to do while the headmaster also goes in the enemy’s direction.

Zoran: ‘-Help the rest of these people get out of here!! Protect them at all costs!!! We’ll handle these freaks and we’ll join you later!!’

Seiren: ‘-Hold on!!! So they’re risking their lives fighting for the city and we have to run away like scaredy cats?!!!’ (King drags him back)

King: ‘-Shut up and get going, Sele!! We don’t have time for this now!!!’ (Seiren pushes his hand aside, running ahead, enveloping himself in red fireworks)

Seiren: ‘-THE HELL WITH EVERYTHING!!! I WON’T LOSE TO HIM!!!!!’

Vega: ‘-Seiren, fuckin’ idiot!!!!’

New waves of attacks begin, leading to lots of new explosions, everyone pulling back to the remains of the hotel as Zoran transforms in his phoenix form, ripping apart the first line of opponents, blowing them up and throwing their burning bodies around.

Yuki freezes another group of opponents with her icy breath, pierced by Hikaru’s lightning bolts and then he creates two lightning swords, spinning around with them and deflecting the attacks of a new pack of soldiers, throwing the blades at them, cutting many of the bastards.

Hikaru: ‘-The Nightsongs said these are neither deviants nor humans, so there’s no point in going easy on them!!! If they dare attack our city, we’ll give them hell!!!!’

A freak with a huge dull green energy sword gets ready to behead him from the back when a wave crushes in him, two others smashed in the ground by water shots as Hikaru sees with shock how Reimei lands nearby.

Reimei: ‘-I decided to join the fray as well!!’ (Hikaru looks at her with confusion)

Hikaru: ‘-But this isn’t your home. You’ve been here for a month or so, Mei. Why risk your life for Deckstoru then?’ (Reimei smiles decisively at him)

Reimei: ‘-I’ve been here long enough to know that the people from this town are worth fighting for. They fear us deviants, yes, but they don’t stand a chance without us. It was the same in my town, as well. It’s our duty to defend them. Together.’

Hikaru nods with a decisive smile as they stand side by side, getting ready to fight when a dull green energy explosion erupts nearby, a huge gray-skinned monster with black eyes, huge extra-sharp teeth, spikes on its head, a long tail and lots of muscle holding a high-tech mace in its hands jumping out of it. The front part of the mace opens and a machine gun comes out from it, shooting lots of bullets at the duo.

A huge icy wall appears in front of them just then, defending them from the attack as a rain of ice blades hits the monster, Yuki landing on its head with a double kick and breaking its skull. Another monster of the same type attacks her then when Hikaru’s massive lightning axe cuts the arm holding the baby doll, kicking it in the mug at the same time as Reimei pierces it and three more with an ultra-thin water stream.

Phoenix flames burst nearby as the headmaster lands in the water, again in his human form, pushing the bastards around him back and looking at the trio.

Zoran: ‘-Get out of here, you three!!!! There’s nothing more you can do!! I’ll handle the rest!!!’

Suddenly disks of different sizes, all of which made of red fireworks pass by Zoran, cutting the freaks around him, the last two being finished by Seiren’s explosive fists, laughing destructively and decisively at him.

Seiren: ‘-We can’t do that, chief!!! (he starts spinning, creating an explosive typhoon, smashing around the next group of villains as Zoran smiles slightly, stepping forward and his thoughts are seen)

Zoran: ‘-Looks like this generation … (the trio heading for them is then seen) … also has its heroes.’

Reimei: ‘-Water deva: Salamander’s brilliant blade!!!’ (she transforms in a water drill, the front part of which takes the shape of a salamander’s head, looking more fierce than the real version, going right through the coming wave of enemies and throwing them all around, totally ripped apart, shocking the quartet)

Zoran: ‘-Well, I have to say even I’m impressed by that!!’

Seiren: ‘-I guess that crazy weird bitch is worth something after all.’ (he receives a punch on the head by the comically angry Yuki)

Yuki: ‘-How can you talk like that?! Damn imbecile!!!! She’s our friend!!!’ (Seiren looks at her with a comical beaten-up expression)

Seiren: ‘-No, that’s just how I talk usually.’ (Hikaru roars at the two of them with comical anger)

Hikaru: ‘-Both of you, stop it right now, will you?!!?!?! (he shocks the duo and all of them look ahead then, once again serious) We’ve got more incoming.’ (Zoran looks at Hikaru, smiling with a slight admiration as his thoughts are seen)

Zoran: ‘-Haru, this crazy kid that’s next to me … it really does feel just like being with you again!!!’ (one of Zoran’s memories is seen, in which he is about Hikaru’s age, fighting alongside a teenager that looks very much like Summerbolt, both of them smiling decisively at each other)

Reimei launches forward, followed by Yuki and Seiren, all of them enveloping themselves in their elements, teleporting on top of their enemies and starting a new fight as Zoran pats Hikaru’s shoulder.

Zoran: ‘-Come on, Suru, let’s finish them!!!’ (Hikaru nods with a decisive smile as his lightning bolts merge with the headmaster’s phoenix flames, the both of them stepping forward)

Hikaru: ‘-Yes, sir!!!!’

‘Finding the strength to overcome this great threat in their friendship, these hot heads now take their first steps on the path of the hero as the new generation of Deckstoru’s protectors!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 26

CHAPTER 26: WHAT AWAITS US?

 We see Reimei on the cover, wearing a most seductive lingerie and looking ahead just as seductively, laying on the rocks on the coast while huge waves are crushing in it behind her, throwing lots of sea foam around her.

‘Reimei: ‘-I ain’t as shy and unsure of myself as I look, people!!’

‘We’ll be sure not to underestimate you from now on, Mei!!’

  A hotel near the coast of Deckstoru is seen, the doors opening with a bang and the six boys from ‘Earth class’ №1 entering, Hikaru carrying Yuki and Reimei, Seiren – Annabel and Aria, the rest of the girls split amongst the other four boys, five of them on King’s back. All the people in the foyer are brutally comically shocked.

‘The Earthlings have finally returned from the beach after a long day filled with adventures!! The fun is far from over, though!!’

Vega steps forward, exhaling lots of dark green smoke from his mouth with a most destructive face.

Vega: ‘-Where’s the damn piccolo?!!?!’ (Zoran smashes his fiery fist in the drunken bastard’s head with a comical angry expression, pushing him aside)

Zoran: ‘-Stop acting like imbeciles, you animalistic bastards!!! (he calms down as a huge man approaches the group – the head of security, the headmaster looking with a guilty face at him) I apologize for their behavior. All of them have different psychic disorders.’

Hikaru: ‘-I agree with you on that one, chief!!’ (everyone starts laughing, the boys letting the girls walk on their own and moving forward as all the ‘normal’ people look at their group with resentment, maddening Seiren)

Seiren: ‘-What is it, you bastards?!! Something wrong, huh?!! We’re people just like you in case you don’t know!!!’ (Exo pulls him aside with a worried expression)

Exo: ‘-Take at easy, Sele. We’re probably the only deviants here and we’ve already created enough fuss back at the beach.’

King: ‘-I haven’t even warmed up yet, people!! So what if we’re the only deviants around here?! Is that some kind of crime?!!’

Yuki: ‘-Boys, seriously, take it down a notch.’ (they go to the reception desk, facing the same resentment there as well)

The receptionist: ‘-You’re here to move into your rooms, I suppose. The piccolo will take you there. Your luggage has already been transferred to them.’ (Zoran makes a slight bow)

Zoran: ‘-Thank you very much. (turns to his class) Alright then, gang. Let’s move.’

After that it’s seen how all the Earthlings move into their rooms, creating lots of chaos around the hotel once again: Seiren goes after Reimei and is beaten up by Hikaru, Tokura goes after Yuki and is beaten up by King, Annabel goes after Exo, who is saved by Vega, Aria bumping into him from the back, Zoran goes in to take a shower but it turns out he’s in the wrong room, seeing a few of the girls just as they’re changing, chased around the building by them, both sides comically ashamed, he also looking guilty and they – mad, all of this observed by the rest of the boys, sitting in their towels and having already taken a shower, laughing at their headmaster.

Afterwards the whole class is seen having dinner in the hotel’s restaurant which is just by the sea, talking, laughing, throwing food at each other or stuffing their mouths like animals. Everyone except their class teacher, that is, sitting in the central seat.

Zoran: ‘-Go on, you brats!! It’s all on me!!! Eat and drink to your hearts’ content!! This is my treat for your successful graduation without any accidents!!’

Vega: ‘-Well, there were a few that were rather …’ (Hikaru waves with his hand)

Hikaru: ‘-It was nothing!! And besides, all that is in the past now!! We’re all here, alive, happy and free!!’

Tokura: ‘-The last one’s probably the most important one!!’ (the whole gang starts laughing again when the headmaster gives them a sign to be quiet)

Zoran: ‘-Let’s look at something a little more serious for a change, everyone. The next year will be your last as students. What do you plan to do from then on? Let’s hear the boys first.’ (Seiren jumps up with his hands on his waist and a most decisive expression, drawing everyone’s attention)

Seiren: ‘-What I want is … TO CREATE THE GREATEST HAREM IN EXISTENCE!!! Not just for me, though!! I want to turn it into some kind of organization that exists for one sole purpose – to give people pleasure!!!! DAMN RIGHT, SON!!!!!!’ (his classmates look at him with comical desperation, disgust and slight puzzlement)

King: ‘-You’re sick, Sele. And it’s a very horrible decease, too. I want to create a fitness of my own. A really big one. Something like a national fitness. Maybe I can join the army, too. I haven’t decided yet.’

Vega: ‘-I wanna discover or create a new kind of liquor or opiate but not the usual shit you’ve seen so far, no. (he makes an incredibly comical maniacal dreamy expression in that moment) I’m talking about the greatest shit ever!!! One that will turn the Universe upside down!!!! And I want to make profit of it, of course.’

Exo: ‘-I’m thinking about starting a business with my inventions. Or maybe to do some kind of scientific work. Definitely something that will help people.’

Tokura: ‘-Seiren’s dream sounds like something very awesome to me. I would like to see a lot more adventure in this life, though!! I want to travel around different places, meet all kinds of people and just get to know more about the Universe we live in!!!’

Yuki: ‘-What about you, Suru?’ (Hikaru has a most thoughtful expression, looking aside and suddenly smiling)

Hikaru: ‘-I can do many things. I would definitely like to do work somehow related to art but what I want above all else … is to have a big and stable family. A family of which to be proud and with which to be very happy. A calm, simple and free life.’ (everyone’s looking at him with very serious faces when all the boys including Zoran burst in tears with comical moved expressions except for Seiren)

Exo: ‘-That’s our Suru for you!!! He always makes me feel so … emotional!!’

King: ‘-Damn right!! I’m touched, man.’

Vega: ‘-Undoubtedly the greatest bastard I’ve known!!!’ (Hikaru looks at them with confusion while Seiren folds his arms with a disgusted face)

Seiren: ‘-What bullshit are you talking about?! A family?!?! A peaceful life?!! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!! What matters are money, wars and sex!!! They are the things which shape the face of every age and ours will be no different!!’ (Hikaru jumps up, he and Seiren moving closer to each other with comically angry expressions)

Hikaru: ‘-I don’t remember asking for your opinion, perverted mug!!!’

Seiren: ‘-But no one can stop me from saying what I think, you sick psycho!!!’

Yuki: ‘-What’s your problem, Sele?! For me personally, Suru’s dream is the most meaningful and beautiful one of everyone who spoke so far!!’ (Seiren moves behind her with an inquisitive look, making her blush a little)

Seiren: ‘-Oh, then maybe you want to help him make that dream come true, huh?!’

(Reimei shoots a wave towards him, throwing him aside and terrifying everyone else in the restaurant in a comical way)

Reimei: ‘-LIKE I’LL EVER LET THAT HAPPEN, DUMBASS!!!!!’ (Reimei’s classmates and Zoran are equally shocked and confused as the red-haired beauty sits back in her seat with a guilty expression)

Zoran: ‘-Mei, are you alright?’

Reimei: ‘-I’m … very sorry. I just lost control for a moment. It wasn’t on purpose or anything …’ (Seiren gets up, rubbing his head)

Seiren: ‘-It’s OK, Mei. But … there’s no need to attack me like that just because you’re jealous of Yu, you know?’ (Yuki, Hikaru and Reimei are equally shocked and maddened afterwards in a comical way)

Yuki, Hikaru, Reimei: ‘-WHAT?!!?!!?!!!?’ (the trio jumps at him, Hikaru choking him, Yuki trying to break his skull and Reimei piercing him in the stomach while everyone in the restaurant looks in comical horror at what’s happening on the Earthlings’ table)

Seiren: ‘-Help!!! These psychos are gonna kill me!!! They’re gutting me already!!! Someone, come on and help me!!!’

Zoran: ‘-People, just calm down!!! You’re only gonna make things worse like this!!’

Lightning bolts, red fireworks, ice spikes and water streams explode in all directions as the others go to them to stop the quartet’s destruction, leading to more explosions and lots of smoke rising, everyone being thrown in a different direction.

People gather around to see what has happened and the view is definitely spectacularly shocking: Vega and King have crushed their heads in each other while the heads of two girls are crushed in their groins, Tokura has stepped on Exo’s throat while Aria’s bottom is smashed in Tokura’s face, Exo being suffocated by Annabel’s breasts which have covered his face, Zoran has been entangled with the rest of the girls in most uncomfortable positions, and Hikaru and Seiren have kissed while the first one is groping Yuki’s breasts and the second one – Reimei’s.

The people in the restaurant are totally comically crushed when they hear a strange noise, lights exploding in the sky in the distance and soon enough, hundreds of air vessels of different types and sizes appear around Deckstoru’s coast, launching dull green energy beams, rockets and shells in that direction.

‘Something really dreadful happens without anyone having even the slightest suspicion about it!!! What will the hot heads do this time and what will the consequences be?!’

Summerbolt (manga script) Volume 4, chapter 25

CHAPTER 25: THE LONG-AWAITED VACATION!

 The cover is double and we see the six boys from ‘Earth class’ №1 along with Yuki on it, everyone wearing the clothes they usually wear in the manga. The baby doll is smiling widely and very happily, the mad genius on her right is gritting his teeth in anger, looking at the pervert on her left, laughing villainously at his eternal rival. Next to Hikaru is Vega, drinking from a bottle of ‘Jack Willshire’ in his hand, next to Seiren is King, winking and showing his muscles as much as possible, next to him is the shyly smiling Exo and next to Vega is Tokura, looking ahead with a seductive smile. Everyone had hugged the people on both their sides over the shoulder except for Hikaru and Seiren.

‘A double-page color spread just for the start of our next arc!!!’

‘These seven are our greatest heroes!!! The friendship they share is their greatest strength!! Charming as ever and no less wild!!! The fun never ends with them!!!’

  Deckstoru’s coast is shown and more specifically – the beach, where Yuki’s class has appeared, shouting loudly and smiling widely, dressed in T-shirts and shorts.

‘Our new adventure begins on the beach!!! What are our favorite hot-headed deviants up to this time?!’

Yuki’s chibi form appears as the action stops and she starts talking.

Yuki: (chibi form) ‘-And here we are. A lot of time has passed from the ‘accident’ with the Nightsongs. In time everyone in town calmed down and no longer talked about it. (the headmaster is seen shouting at the members of Yuki’s class in their classroom) The headmaster and now our class teacher as well, disappeared for a while but we all knew where he had gone and what he was doing. (the girls of the class are whispering to one another with worried faces) Reimei, the new girl in class managed to get used to our insanity though she still kept her distance from us. (Reimei is seen, sitting alone on her desk and looking at the floor with a little sad face) Before we knew it, the term had ended and the court of Deckstoru made another compromise for us, that is, they allowed us to take a week off before we started serving our sentence throughout the summer!! It was finally time for our long-awaited vacation!!!’ (Zoran Lawel, the class’s current class teacher steps forward, dressed the same way as his students and sighing with a comically desperate face)

Zoran: ‘-I don’t know why you had to drag me along, too. Surely you kids could have gone to the beach on your own.’ (King pats his shoulder while Vega hugs him over the other one)

King: ‘-Come on, chief!!! This is a class holiday and as our leader, you will also have to participate!!’ (the gang moves forward and Reimei walks behind all of them, looking around with a wide smile, suddenly bumping into Hikaru, who’s also been left behind a little)

Hikaru: ‘-Ah, Mei!! Let’s get the party started, what do you say?’ (Reimei nods with a shy smile)

Reimei: ‘-Yeah, sure. I’m a little ashamed but don’t pay any attention to that.’ (Hikaru pats her on the head with a very wide smile)

Hikaru: ‘-Would you stop with that already? You’re very cute so instead of trying to hide that and being ashamed of it, you should go out there and show everyone how great you really are!!!’ (Reimei looks at him with great shock, blushing a lot more than usual and then looking aside, puffing out her cheeks)

Reimei: ‘-And you should stop talking like that about me, Hikaru. It makes me feel very uncomfortable.’ (Tokura jumps up between them, grabbing their necks and dragging them forward)

Tokura: ‘-What are you two still doing back here?!! There’s no time to waste, come on!!!’ (Exo emerges nearby as well, holding two swimming belts and smiling a lot wider than usual)

Exo: ‘-Very true, Tora!! We’ve got only a week of free time so we should take advantage of this as much as possible!!!’

Afterwards the classmates are seen lying on beach towels, covered by a few umbrellas as the girls start taking off their T-shirts and shorts, the loveliest parts of their bodies drawing the people’s attention, looking extremely awesome in their swimsuits. Yuki, Aria and Annabel are the first to run to the water.

Annabel: ‘-Swimming time, everyone!!!!’

Aria: ‘-Damn right!!! We can’t miss a chance like this in such great weather!!!’ (Seiren appears behind them with a villainous perverted smile, licking his lips)

Seiren: ‘-Well, girls, I gotta say your bodies are in no way less awesome than the weather!!!’ (he receives a triple kick and is crushed in the sand nearby, covered in blood coming out from his mouth and nose as the girls cover themselves with their hands, blushing)

Yuki: ‘-I-Idiot.’ (King is already in his giant form, throwing Aria and Annabel on his shoulders and launching towards the water with a battle roar)

King: ‘-Hold on tight, girls!!! CHARGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!’ (Vega and Tokura drag a few of the girls with them, throwing one in the shocked Exo’s arms, also running after them, Hikaru already holding Yuki in his hands, exhaling lots of smoke from his mouth with a decisive destructive look)

Hikaru: ‘-You’re coming as well, Yu!!!’

He launches forward, the baby doll screaming as the waves hit them along with the rest of the class, lightning bolts, dull green energy shots, metal blades, ice spikes, light rays and other elemental attacks spreading all over the water, shot in all directions. Seiren gets up just then, getting ready to join his comrades when he looks aside and sees Reimei, who’s sitting on her towel, curled up in a ball, looking ahead sadly, going to her.

Seiren: ‘-What about you, Mei? Why are you still sitting here?’

Reimei: ‘-I … I’m not really used to stuff like this. You go on ahead and have fun.’ (Seiren grabs her arm and drags her in the water while she’s trying to escape with no success)

Seiren: ‘-Oh, no, no, no, my dear!!! We’re just getting started and that includes you, too!!!’

The red-haired beauty then looks around her, seeing all the crazy things her classmate are doing: King and Hikaru are having a swimming race through superspeed and electric teleportation, Vega’s trying to drown Exo with his energetic water bombs while Aria and Annabel are persistently trying to push Tokura under the water, unable to succeed because of his shield and Yuki and the rest of the girls from their class are spraying each other with water, combined with their elements. Taking advantage of her distraction, Seiren blows up Reimei’s T-shirt and shorts in red fireworks and she jumps aside, now only in her swimsuit, blushing and looking aside with a slight smile.

Reimei: ‘-D-do I look good?’ (Seiren and Tokura jump to her with comical dreamful expressions, full of love, lots of blood flowing from their noses)

Seiren, Tokura: ‘-Marry us already, princess!!!’ (Reimei runs aside in comical panic as a wave of ice blades reaches the pervert and the ladies’ man, Yuki standing in front of them with dreadful anger in her eyes)

Yuki: ‘-Don’t you dare … TOUCH HER!!!!!’ (King manages to outrun Hikaru, creating a few waves with his sudden stop, throwing the mad genius aside as he crushes in Reimei, creating a water-electric explosion)

Vega: ‘-Let’s check out what’s going on over there!!’ (drags Exo with him, still spitting water with a comical desperate and terrified expression)

When the smoke from the explosion disappears and the class gathers, Zoran pushes a few of the girls aside, stepping forward with a worried expression. It is then seen that Hikaru had grabbed Reimei’s breasts, blushing greatly in that moment, the rest of them totally comically broken and shocked. The red-haired beauty then jumps back, screaming in horror.

Reimei: ‘-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!’ (Hikaru is even more comically terrified, shocked and desperate in that moment)

Hikaru: ‘-I’m very sorry, Mei … it was … it was an accident …’ (Seiren and Tokura then grab him and drag him aside, the first of the two trying to choke him and the second – hitting him in the stomach, equally comically angry)

Seiren: ‘-Damn son of a bitch!!!’

Tokura: ‘-I was supposed to be the one to grope her breasts first, you asshole!!!’ (Yuki helps Reimei get up and the two look at each other)

Yuki: ‘-You OK? (Reimei nods) Don’t worry. It was an accident. Suru isn’t like that at all.’ (King and Vega join the comically angry duo in the attempts to kill Hikaru, hitting him everywhere)

King: ‘-Oh yes, HE IS!!!!’

Vega: ‘-Imma blow the mofocker’s head off!!!!’ (Exo goes to the five, desperately trying to stop them but with zero success)

Exo: ‘-Come on now, guys! There’s no need to …’ (King and Vega drag him in the fight as well as Hikaru goes wild and shoots lightning bolts in all directions)

Zoran: ‘-ALL OF YOU, STOP RIGHT NOW, DAMN IT!!!!’ (he envelopes himself in phoenix flames and everyone steps back except for Reimei, already maddened by the boys’ fight)

Reimei: ‘-Okay, enough!!!’ (she waves with her hands and screws her eyes, a few larger waves appearing around the six of them and totally drowning them but then a lot more and even bigger waves form around the coast, sinking half of the beach and comically shocking everyone there) It was just a misunderstanding, OK?!’ (Hikaru is the first one to resurface, fried severely from the contact between the water and his lightning bolts and spitting lots of water, nodding with a comically beaten-up face as the rest of the boys also resurface)

Hikaru: ‘-Yeah, yeah, sure … whatever you say …’ (Reimei turns to the rest of her classmates, confused by their shock, only then seeing the destruction she’s caused and scratching her head with a shy smile, looking back at them)

Yuki: ‘-Mei, I’ve never even suspected that you had such a powerful deva!!! You’ve never used it like this in school!!’ (Reimei smiles in a guilty way)

Reimei: ‘-Yeah, I kind of forgot to tell you. I’m the world’s strongest water deviant.’ (this time the shock is absolutely destructive for everyone)

‘The mystery surrounding Reimei becomes more and more intriguing!! Who is this girl really?’

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 24

CHAPTER 24: BACK TO NORMALITY!!

 We see Hock on the cover, standing on the surface of an alien planet and wearing a space suit without a helmet, having stuck a flag with a dark brown ‘M’ on a bright red background in the ground with a wide villainous smile.

‘To commemorate the ending of the first ark, an extra-long chapter!!’

‘Hock: ‘-This planet is now property of ‘Martian class’ №3!!! Why should I wear a helmet then?!’

‘He really is even dumber than he looks!!!’

  ‘Sunbird’ High school is seen as Zoran Lawel, its headmaster, enters ‘Earth class’ №1’s classroom, shocking everyone. In the side ‘Three weeks later’ is written.

‘What business does the headmaster have with Yuki’s crazy class now?! A new surprise is about to be revealed but it’s still unclear if the hot heads will like it or not!!!’

Yuki is seen in her chibi form, explaining what has happened so far.

Yuki: (chibi form) ‘-Just to make it clear as to what has happened till now. After our class fight with Ulura’s class escalated into an all-out war with her family, we and the Summerbolts successfully triumphed over our opponents who were currently serving their sentences in prison, all of them convicted. We were also found guilty but the punishment wasn’t all that awful. During the three-week rehabilitation period that followed our appearance in court, we were forced to do all kinds of things for people from Deckstoru – communal services basically. As all of us were finally ready to return to school, the judges made a compromise and overturned our sentence until the end of the school term, that is. We were to make up for that during the summer vacation.’

The headmaster: ‘-Okay, can I have everyone’s attention, please? (all Earthlings turn to him with slight confusion) Starting today, I’m going to be ‘Earth class’ №1’s class teacher. (shock is first seen on everyone’s faces, soon replaced by insurmountable happiness as they start screaming and shouting, throwing all kinds of stuff around) Keep it quiet now, will ya?!!?!! (flames burst from his eyes and veins protrude all over his dreadfully looking face, immediately silencing everyone as he calms down after that) Your former class teacher, Mr. Tenji Line was officially convicted a week ago. I don’t expect him to be back any time soon and even if he is, he will no longer be welcome in this school. We don’t have nearly enough teachers over here and plus, I don’t think anyone else could handle you guys so I decided to see to it myself!!’

Seiren: ‘-Is that it then?’ (Zoran nods as all the members of the class start screaming, shouting and throwing things around once again, making him slap his face with his palm in comical desperation)

The headmaster: ‘-Oh, why did I even take on this damn job?!!’ (seconds later there’s a knock on the door, everyone turning to the stunningly beautiful girl with long scarlet red hair that has just entered, looking cheerlessly at the floor)

King: ‘-Ah? Who’s that?’ (the girl stands in front of the blackboard as the headmaster goes to her)

The headmaster: ‘-I forgot to tell you about that. We have a new student who’s going to be a part of your class from today. She’s been transferred here from the high school in Saraley.’

Tokura: ‘-Yeah but why now, all of a sudden?’ (Zoran scratches his head while looking aside with an uncomfortable smile)

The headmaster: ‘-Truth is, things just happened too fast and I myself don’t yet know the details!! (he looks at the girl after that) Go on then. Introduce yourself to your classmates.’

Reimei: ‘-I don’t wanna.’ (she looks aside, being cheerless once again, comically puzzling the headmaster, some of the girls from the class giggling)

The headmaster: ‘-Well, that’s just not right. I mean, you’ll be studying with these people for a while and it’s a tradition for transferred students to introduce themselves properly. Come on.’ (Reimei doesn’t respond to this in any way while Yuki looks at her with a worried face)

Yuki: ‘-I kinda get what she’s going through right now but still, I think she’s overreacting a little.’

Reimei: ‘-I don’t want to introduce myself and I won’t.’ (veins protrude on Zoran’s forehead as he turns around and tries to smile and look as calm as possible, taking a deep breath and then looking at her again)

The headmaster: ‘-Alright then. We can’t force you to do it. Please, choose your seat so we can resume our class.’ (Hikaru jumps from his desk, shocking his classmates)

Hikaru: ‘-Oh no, I don’t think so!!!’

Vega: ‘-Suru, don’t do any weird shit!!!’

The mad genius lands in front of the girl with a bolt, grabbing her and starting to shake her with an awesome comical angry expression.

Hikaru: ‘-You tell everyone your name right now!! Don’t you have any respect for traditions?!! What’s going to happen if you just tell us your name, huh?!!?!’ (Reimei is about to cry as she’s trying to escape Hikaru’s grip)

Reimei: ‘-I told you, I don’t wanna!! I won’t!!!’ (Hikaru moves even closer to her, his head now several times bigger and his roar tearing half the room down)

Hikaru: ‘-I ASKED YOU WHY, DAMN IT!???!?!’ (Reimei’s already crying)

Reimei: ‘-Because I’m scared of you!!!’ (everyone looks at her with confusion while the headmaster sighs in desperation, just observing the situation)

Hikaru: ‘-How … (he’s calm again and looks at her very seriously) … how can you be afraid of your friends?’ (Reimei looks at him in shock and is then very confused)

Reimei: ‘-W-what are you talking about?’

Hikaru: ‘-Don’t you know what ‘friend’ means?’

Reimei: ‘-I do but … we don’t even know each other.’ (Hikaru lets her go, stepping back)

Hikaru: ‘-Exactly!! That’s the whole issue over here!! I’ll start then. I’m Hikaru Summerbolt. It’s a pleasure to meet you.’ (he holds out his hand as she blushes and looks at different directions, eventually shaking his hand, a shy smile now appearing on her face)

Reimei: ‘-R-Reimei Scarlettail. It’s a pleasure to meet you as well.’

Hikaru: ‘-There!! You’re doing great!! I thing we started off on the wrong foot, Mei, but we’re sure to be great friends from here on out!!!’ (Reimei blushes once again, looking aside)

Reimei: ‘-Don’t … don’t just start calling me by my first name like that, further more shortening it. It’s embarrassing.’

Hikaru: ‘-How am I supposed to call you then? Scarlettail-chan?! That’s not gonna happen in our class, girl!! Here everyone’s got a short version of their name!! Even the class teacher over here!! Right, Zor?’ (he smiles widely at Zoran, receiving a burning fist from him and being crushed in the wall behind him)

The headmaster: ‘-What kind of attitude is that towards your headmaster, boy?!?!!’

Exo starts sweating and trembling with a comical terrified expression while observing Zoran as the rest of the class goes to Reimei, led by Yuki and the boys.

Exo: ‘-I-I think he’s even scarier than before … !!!’

Yuki: ‘-Hi there, Mei!! I’m Yuki Iceflame!! Welcome to our class!! We’ll be sure to take great care of you!!’

Seiren: ‘-You can call me Sele, scarlet princess!! (points at Yuki) We call her Yu. (then he points at the rest of the boys) And these four dumbasses over here are Vi, Kei, Ex and Tora!!’ (Vega hits him first and King and Tokura jump at him with comical angry faces)

Vega: ‘-What king of introduction is that, Sele, huh?!?!!?’ (the girls push the boys aside and start introducing themselves to Reimei after that as she starts smiling more and more, still a bit shy and scared)

The headmaster: ‘-Take it easy now, everyone!! She’s new here, after all. We wouldn’t want to scare the willies out of her from the start, right?’

Annabel: ‘-Don’t you worry, sensei!! She’ll get used to it in no time!!’

Aria: ‘-Come on then, Mei, tell us a little bit more about yourself!!’

The headmaster: ‘-Okay, people, that’s enough for now!! Everyone sit down so we can get going with today’s lesson!! It’s time for you to get back to your normal school lives!!’

King: ‘-But that ain’t fun at all!! We want more fights!!’

Yuki: ‘-So we can get beaten up again?’ (everyone starts laughing while Hikaru falls on his desk with a comical beaten-up expression, realizing with shock that Reimei is sitting next to him)

Hikaru: ‘-You … why did you sit next to me?’ (Reimei blushes and looks aside)

Reimei: ‘-You’re the first person of the class that tried to welcome me properly so I decided to sit here. Don’t get any funny ideas.’ (Hikaru smiles and pats her shoulder)

Hikaru: ‘-That’s the spirit, Mei!! I like you more and more!! We’ll definitely get along just fine from now on!!!’ (Reimei smiles slightly, looking down)

Reimei: ‘-I hope we do.’ (Seiren smiles villainously, prodding Yuki who’s sitting next to him as she turns to the pervert just when Zoran’s started the lesson)

Zoran: ‘-These parameters apply to the coordinates like …’

Seiren: (whispering) ‘-Yu, you should take great care with the new girl. I thing she might steal your boyfriend!!’ (Yuki blinks for a moment and then hits Seiren in the stomach with her elbow, making him fall on the ground and continuing to take notes after that)

Yuki: ‘-Quiet, Sele. I’m trying to study right now.’ (Hikaru looks at the two of them with confusion)

Hikaru: ‘-Hey, what are you two doing? Not paying attention in class?? (he jumps up with a comical angry expression) I’LL BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF BOTH OF YOU, RIGHT NOW!!!!!’ (Seiren stands next to him as they crush their foreheads in one another, gritting their teeth in comical anger)

Seiren: ‘-What, you want me to beat you up again?!!?!’

Hikaru: ‘-Not likely to happen in the next 1000 years!!!’

Yuki: ‘-Idiots.’ (Reimei looks at them as Yuki tries to separate the eternal rivals, Zoran shouting at the trio and their classmates laughing as much as they can while the red-haired beauty’s thoughts are seen)

Reimei: ‘-These are … good people. I think it will be pretty fun around here.’ (she smiles slightly)

‘Good luck, Reimei!! You’ll need it while you’re in the craziest class in the world!!! Another hero joins the Summerbolts’ and their friends’ adventure!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 23

CHAPTER 23: JUDGEMENT AND REHABILITATION

 We see Exo and ‘Sunbird’’s headmaster on the cover, the two of them sitting on the two sides of a chessboard, staring at the pieces with extreme focus and lots of veins protruding on their faces.

‘The first move may determine the development of the whole game but who will take the risk and make it?!’

  Deckstoru’s main hospital is seen as the focus goes through one of the windows on the third floor of its northern wing, showing a room with seven beds, on six of which are lying the boys from ‘Earth class’ №1, most of their bodies swathed in bandages.

‘The consequences of every battle are severe, especially if you’ve won!! What awaits the wounded hot heads now?!’

King opens his eyes seconds later.

King: ‘-Am I … alive?’ (Vega and Tokura wake up after him, looking around)

Tokura: ‘-Looks like everyone’s managed to survive the class battle.’

Seiren: ‘-Some made it with rather insignificant wounds, too.’ (Hikaru, who’s in the bed next to the pervert manages to get up a little with an angry face)

Hikaru: ‘-You trying to tell me somethin’, perverted bastard?!!’ (Seiren turns to him, sparks appearing between them as they try to rip off all the bandages and systems around them to reach their eternal rival with comical angry expressions)

Seiren: ‘-I don’t see why you’re even joining the conversation, lightning bastard!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-Cuz I was also there and the way I see it, you took just as much damage as the rest of us!!! Don’t start acting all high and mighty!!!’ (Exo sighs)

Exo: ‘-Everything looks the same. That means we’re not dead.’ (the door of their room opens and Graid enters, looking pretty much the same way as the boys)

Graid: ‘-Ha-ha!!! I see you’re all awake and look worse than ever!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-Uncly!!! I was wondering where you had gone!!’

Graid: ‘-I’ve got a lot more stamina than all of you, kid, and my wounds tend to heal quickly. I just needed to rest a little, that’s all.’

Vega: ‘-How’s everyone else?’

Graid: ‘-The girls are in the two rooms down the hall. They are all alive as well and most of them are awake.’

King: “-Let’s go and see them then!!’ (he also tries to rip off all the bandages and systems to escape his bed when Graid reaches him with his superspeed and stops him)

Graid: ‘-Take at easy now, kid. You aren’t getting out of here any time soon.’

Tokura: ‘-Tell us what’s going on out there then!! What’s happened with Ulura’s family and her classmates?! (seconds later the door opens once again and this time the headmaster of ‘Sunbird’ enters the room, getting to Graid and patting his shoulder with a smile)

The headmaster: ‘-I’ll answer that question. (everyone focus their attention on him) The Nightsongs and all their accomplices have been taken into custody. A trial is currently being held in court to decide what sentence they’ll receive for their crimes.’

Hikaru: ‘-What about the investigation to find the main puppet master?’ (Graid and Zoran sigh while looking at each other)

The headmaster: ‘-Still nothing. I came here for something else, though. It has been requested that you appear in the court as well.’ (the six boys roar with comical shock)

Hikaru, Seiren, Vega, King, Exo, Tokura: ‘-WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!!!’

Graid: ‘-Told you they would react like that.’

The headmaster: ‘-Looks like your testimony wasn’t enough. You’ve caused quite a lot of damage above the expected rate and have also broken some laws, so …’

The hot heads sigh all together and then are seen again, standing in a courtroom in front of three judges, wearing only shorts and cuffed, looking at the floor.

Judge 1: ‘-Raise your heads, gentlemen!!’ (the boys then look up when the doors opposite to them open and the girls from the class enter the room along with Saya, Iziya and Rose, everyone wearing T-shirts and shorts and also cuffed, the visible parts of their bodies covered in bandages just as much as the boys’)

Judge 2: ‘-It appears we now have all the ‘good’ deviants in this courtroom.’ (Graid and Zoran appear from a fire explosion between the two groups that are now gathered together)

Judge 3: ‘-Let us begin, then. Here are the charges that have been filed against you by the people of Deckstoru. You have destroyed private property to a level far greater than the one prescribed by the Code for Class battles. Each of the deviants present has broken the rules of the same code several times and it doesn’t matter if it was intentional or not. Last but not least, you have physically damaged individuals that have no apparent connection to the battle that took place in the ‘Nebula’ park.’

Judge 1: ‘-Let’s see how you will plead to the filed charges.’

The headmaster: ‘-May I speak for all the deviants here, honorable ones? (the judges nod) I will have to correct a great deal of what you just said. Firstly, the Code for Class battles has been edited recently and the accusations about violating its rules which you mentioned just now are therefore invalid according to the Code’s new version. Secondly, the individuals which you say have been damaged by the deviants here have caused just as much, if not more damage for them. Everyone’s lives were actually in danger, something that really contradicts the Code for Class battles, whether we consider its old or new version. The people you see before you, on the other hand, have not only successfully neutralized their opponents without trying to kill them but they have also saved their lives in the extreme conditions that followed each of the members of the enemy team’s defeat. They all had a fairly good motive not to do so.’

Judge 2: ‘-How would you describe what happened in that park then, Mr. Lawel?’

The headmaster: ‘-I consider it to have been an example of self-defense but a more specific one. No, that’s not it actually. These people … (the whole group of hot heads is seen) … they are all heroes. No matter how you look at it.’

Judge 3: ‘-What do you mean?’

The headmaster: ‘-They were faced with an unprecedented threat that not even one of them expected while we can deduce from what has happened that their opponents had certain knowledge of everyone’s capabilities. All of them were hit again and again and were forced to make vitally important decisions without having much time to do so. They had to trust each other while separated at considerable distances and each in a predicament of their own. Let us put all of that aside, though. As I said, after they defeated all of their opponents, both those that were expected to appear and those that weren’t, Mrs. Nightsong appeared in the park. Her attacks were all lethal and she didn’t consider her own family’s or her soldiers’ safety for a second. There is something else that troubles me also. How did no one even suspect of something like this? Why didn’t anyone try to find out more about their actions?’

(the second judge waves with his hand)

Judge 2: ‘-That matter is not the one we’re currently looking at. That is why I would prefer you didn’t mention it. So what you mean to say is that these people protected their opponents’ lives while risking their own?’ (the headmaster nods)

The headmaster: ‘-Exactly. First, Mrs. Saya has protected Tenji Line, Ulura Nightsong, Lara Jade, Kira and Mara Nelaz. Then Mrs. Rose, Ms. Yuki and Ms. Iziya have protected everyone else. Finally, Hikaru, Seiren and King have protected Hock and Gorudora. Being human before anything else, they have all shown outstanding heroism, honor and selflessness. There are a few who can boast such a feat, especially of this age. This I consider to be more than enough of a reason to drop all charges.’ (the judges whisper as each other while standing aside and everyone looks at them with anticipation and nervousness as they eventually sit back on their initial places)

Judge 1: ‘-The court has decided. Taking into consideration the presented evidence, testimony and the comment made by Mr. Lawel, we pronounce you … (everyone’s trembling with anticipation) … GUILTY!!!!’ (the heroes are more comically shocked and crushed than ever as the judges remain just as stern as they have been all along) We hereby sentence you all to six months of communal service!!!’

Judge 2: ‘-Now get out of here and get to work!!!’ (the heroes are even more crushed)

Judge 3: ‘-And just to point out something, you will be given the same sentence as the rest of your friends, Mr. Lawel, for making such feeble attempts to make them looks innocent!!!’

The headmaster: ‘-Oh, you gotta be kiddin’ me!!!!’

‘Justice is served to Deckstoru’s craziest heroes and even if they’ve saved the day, they still must be punished for their actions!! Now the headmaster that tried to defend them will share the same sentence just to make things more ‘fun’!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 22

CHAPTER 22: MYSTERY SOLVED?!

 We see Hikaru and Saya on the cover, the fiery mom choking her son with one arm while having raised him above the ground with a comical angry expression, the mad genius trying to escape her grip with a comical desperate and beaten-up face while Iziya and Graid are trying to separate them.

‘Saya: ‘-Where?!! Where have you hidden it?!’

Hikaru: ‘-I … don’t know! I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about!!!’

Saya: ‘-Tel me where you’ve hidden it right now!!!’

What are they fighting about this time?! It doesn’t matter anyway, cuz Saya will find out what the truth is, sooner or later!! She always does!!!!’

  The remains of the ‘Nebula’ park are seen and then – the hot heads smiling at each other, standing in the distance and supporting the person next to them while observing the trio ahead, Yuki and Hikaru helping Seiren get up, the three of them hugging each other over the shoulder again. That’s when a silhouette appears from the smoke behind them, turning out to be the dreadfully furious and wounded Ukris.

‘The situation changes in a shocking way!!! Ukris is still standing!!! Is there any chance to defeat a monster like her?!!’

Everyone looks at Nightsong in horror, especially the trio that’s nearest to her, having turned around and also observing her.

Hikaru: ‘-H-how?!’

Yuki: ‘-After all those attacks …’

Seiren: ‘-She must be immortal!!!’ (smoke rises from Ukris’s mouth, after which she spills lots of blood and smiles destructively)

Ukris: ‘-Well done, kids. I’m very impressed. I haven’t been in a state like this for years. Indeed your generation is pretty strong.’ (Rale and Ulura wake up in that moment, seeing the tyrannical queen and barely being able to move)

Ulura: ‘-Mother … stop this … it’s over …’

Ukris: ‘-After you’ve managed to wound me so severely, it only seems proper to me that I should give you a most splendid end!!! You and everyone you love, of course!!! Prepare for the greatest and last marvel you’ll see in this life!!!’ (she starts roaring as typhoons of purple lightning and black lasers form around her in large quantities and veins protrude all over her body, her eyes exploding in black light)

Graid: ‘-Shit!!! And I thought we couldn’t get in more trouble!!!’

Iziya: ‘-We need to get out of here right now!!!’

Rale: ‘-It’s no use. (the heroes turn to him) This is her strongest technique. Half of Deckstoru will be decimated by it.’

The hot heads are more horrifyingly shocked than ever when they hear this, looking at the small light that’s appeared in the sky, falling down in great speed, turning out to be a fire shot aimed right for Ukris, taking no notice of it until it crushes in her, creating an explosion that destroys the typhoons, smashing Yuki, Hikaru and Seiren further back.

Huge wings made of fire appear amidst the smoke, soon disappearing along with it and ‘Sunbird’’s headmaster is seen, holding Ukris for the neck with a serious face, shocking everyone.

The headmaster: ‘-I think that was more than enough, Mrs. Nightsong.’ (the heroes gather around him, still looking with certain fear at Ukris from time to time)

Hikaru: ‘-Headmaster?!! What are you doing here?!’ (the headmaster turns to them and smiles, throwing Ukris nearby)

The headmaster: ‘-My precious students are fighting to the death over here. I couldn’t just stand and do nothing, especially after I had found out the scale of the plot against you and what the consequences of it would be.’

Seiren: ‘-What plot?!! What is everyone talking about?! I don’t get any of this shit!!!’

The headmaster: ‘-I’ll explain everything now. First … (Ukris concentrates laser energy in her elongated nails, preparing to hit him in the back, receiving a fire elbow in the face and being crushed nearby, now unconscious) … the Nightsongs have friends in places that we’ve never even imagined of. Or rather … we thought they had cut those ties. Our carelessness and naivety led to this. (he gets to Ukris and drags her back to the others, this time holding her tight) I gave my consent for this class battle to take place without knowing that Ulura’s challenge was nothing more than a smokescreen to conceal the Nightsongs’ real motives.’

Hikaru: ‘-They want to destroy my family and friends. That much we already know. What I don’t know is why would they do such a thing.’

Rose: ‘-Rale mentioned that they wanted to create a world for deviants only and since we’re supporters of the ‘normal’ people, we’re in their way.’

Seiren: ‘-Well, I’m still a deviant supporter but …’ (Yuki hits him on the head and silences him)

Yuki: ‘-Would you shut up and listen, perverted idiot?!!’

The headmaster: ‘-That’s true. You’re not in the Nightsongs’ way, though. Rather you’re a threat for those with whom they’re in league. Ukris is just a pawn in a far larger scheme and this attack on the Summerbolts and their allies was just the first step of it.’ (everyone’s shocked as King, Saya and Tokura appear amidst them, all three of them now conscious)

Saya: ‘-I have some suspicions about that, Zoran. (the heroes turn to her with shock and then the fiery mom and the headmaster look at each other) I just hope I’m wrong.’ (the headmaster nods)

The headmaster: ‘-I will do everything in my power to solve this to the end, Saya. I promise. I have the feeling that the true hell will be unleashed upon us soon enough, though. Whoever the Nightsongs are in league with, when that someone finds out about their failure here, they won’t be happy. Technically, we’re still in their way.’

Seiren: ‘-Ah, the hell with it!!! What matters right now is that we’ve managed to beat up all the buggers, playing fair and square while they didn’t!! Ha-ha!!!’ (Yuki looks around in confusion as Hukaru drags Tokura aside and Seiren does the same with King, Saya now standing on her own)

Yuki: ‘-Hold on for a minute there!! You two called each other ‘Saya’ and ‘Zoran’ just now. Does that mean you know each other?’ (Saya and Zoran look at each other once again and start laughing)

Saya: ‘-Oh, that’s a long story!!’

Graid: ‘-Which none of you brats knows because you weren’t even born then!!’ (Hikaru and Seiren look at Saya and Zoran with confusion)

The headmaster: ‘-Actually, before I became headmaster of ‘Sunbrid’, I myself was a student there, in your mother’s class, Saru. Can I call you that as well?’ (Hikaru nods with confusion)

Hikaru: ‘-Of course you can, sir. But how come you and my mother …’ (Iziya moves behind Saya with a mocking smile)

Iziya: ‘-Zoran was your mom’s first wooer, kid!! Ha-ha-ha!!!’

(Saya and Zoran are first shocked, the fiery mom smashing her sister in the ground with a burning fist and comical angry expression after that)

Saya: ‘-I didn’t even know you remembered that, damn fox!!!’ (the headmaster scratches his head and blushes a little while smiling)

The headmaster: ‘-It was a long time ago, after all.’

Saya: ‘-I wonder what will happen to the Nightsongs now.’ (Zoran throws Ukris to her daughter and husband when everyone hears a strange noise)

The headmaster: ‘-They’ll be taken into custody, of course. They’ve committed a lot of crimes for a short time and must be punished accordingly. As for their soldiers …’ (all the soldiers explode in dull green energy in that moment, disappearing and shocking the heroes)

Vega: ‘-That energy … it’s just like my deva!!!’

Yuki: ‘-They disappeared just like last time!!!’

The headmaster: ‘-The soldiers that attacked you on the day you three met. Did they look the same?’ (Yuki, Hikaru and Seiren nod)

Seiren: ‘-They had the same arsenal as well. I hadn’t noticed that it was powered by something resembling Vega’s deva, though.’

Rose: ‘-There’s definitely something going on over here.’

The headmaster: ‘-Anyway, I think that’s enough for today. Time to go home.’ (hundreds of soldiers appear on the destroyed field and start shouting at the heroes, shocked once again) I took the liberty of informing our local authorities before coming here. Just in any case. They’ll have to question you about what happened here as well.’ (the soldiers launch to the victors as Yuki, Hikaru and Seiren are now looking comically desperate)

Soldier 1: ‘-Halt!! You’re under arrest, all of you!!!’

Soldier 2: ‘-What have you done this time, you three?!!! You won’t be getting away with it twice!!!’

Yuki, Hikaru, Seiren: ‘-NOT AGAIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!’

The others start laughing then.

‘The mystery remains but for the time being, the threat has passed. Now it’s time for our heroes to rest … if they let them!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 21

CHAPTER 21: FROZEN THUNDER

 We see Ukris on the cover, sitting on a sofa with gothic-style candlesticks standing on both her sides and she’s holding two filthy dogs on a leash, the dogs carrying the faces of Ulura and Rale, looking more ridiculous than ever.

‘Ukris: ‘-For me even my family is a bunch of slaves!! My authority is unquestionable!!’

‘All three of them are evil but she’s beyond that, Ukris’s just the purest of tyrants!!!’

  Ukris steps forward, now spreading her wings along with her hands and smiling more and more widely as the heroes take battle poses except for Hikaru, first leaving his mother on the ground behind them and then joining his family.

‘The Nightsong queen vs. the Earthlings and the Summerbolts!!! This is the final showdown of the battle of ‘Nebula’ but will the weakened hot heads manage to take out the strongest of villains?!!’

Yuki and Rose smash their fists in the ground as a wave of ice and rock spikes emerging from the ground launches to Ukris, destroyed by her lasers and then she crushes her foot on the ground, creating a large-scale laser-lightning explosion, throwing everyone around and then throwing them down.

King has managed to grow in size again, throwing Hikaru and Seiren to her and Graid is also headed in that direction with his superspeed when two winged snakes made of black lasers and with eyes of purple lightning appear on both sides of the queen. Summerbolt and Blackscale swirl around the lightning-laser roars of the serpents and destroy them in a lightning-firework explosion as Graid reaches Ukris, stopping his fist and creating an electric wave, crushing him nearby.

Hikaru’s uncle manages to get up very quickly, getting to his opponent once again and trying to hit her as hard and as fast as he can, observing with shock as she teleports around all of his attacks, dodging them perfectly.

Ukris: ‘-Your superspeed will do you no good against me!!!’

Graid: ‘-Let’s see how long you’ll be able to talk like that, Ukris!!’

Iziya launches to her like a small typhoon, destroyed in lots of huge black laser spheres as Hikaru’s aunt reaches Ulura’s mother, stopped by her bare hands, twisted and kicked in the ground. Graid takes advantage of Nightsong’s temporary distraction and manages to land a hit on her face, smashing her twenty meters away in lots of smoke, making her spill blood around her as she gets up, looking maddened.

A bigger winged snake appears behind him then, ripped apart by his double kick as Hikaru and Seiren reach Ukris once again, combining their elements in a close range red-orange-blaze-firework-lightning blade, destroyed by her lightning-laser roar and then the two of them being wrapped in thin laser strings, dragged towards her.

Ukris: ‘-Come here, boys!! I’ll teach you a thing or two about fighting and life!!’

King jumps to her from the side, preparing a tremendous kick, which she dodges that as well, a laser clone appearing from her back as she leans and smashing its lightning fists in the giant’s face, crushing him a long way and going back inside her body, then stretching and pulling the eternal rivals to her, smacking their faces in the other one’s.

Hikaru, Seiren: ‘-Damn you, bitch!!!’

Ukris: ‘-Not so rude, please!! I’m a lady, after all!’ (King tries to hit her again, this time his chest pierced by a laser spear that she’s spilled out of her mouth, making him return to his normal form)

King: ‘-This one’s got no limits!!!’

Graid and Iziya attack her with a somatic typhoon from a hole dug by Rose beneath Ukris’s feet, cut severely by her lightning-laser claws, now longer and sharper than ever when Hikaru’s grandmother jumps from the hole after her children, preparing a rocky hammer.

Nightsong slaps her and manages to pull the hammer from her hands with her teeth, kicking her nearby and preparing to smash her face with her own weapon, stepping forward dreadfully.

Ukris: ‘-This is it, granny!!! It’s been a pleasure knowin’ ya!!! Now good night!!!’ (Yuki teleports in front of her, crushing her icy forehead in her opponent’s and creating a bloody explosion, more decisive than ever)

Yuki: ‘-Just shut up already!!!’ (Ukris drops the hammer from the pain and the shock and Yuki grabs it, cut by a few lasers before she can smack her with it and then tens of purple lightning bolts are shot at the baby doll, ripping apart her icy armor and wounding her many times)

Ukris: ‘-Don’t you dare oppose me, squitty!!! I’m nothing like my daughter!!!’

A laser wave then hits Yuki from the side, crushing her in the ground very hard as Ukris goes to her and starts kicking the baby doll in different parts of her body, making her spill lots of blood.

Rose: ‘-Stop it!!! You monster!!!’ (Ukris turns to her with a freezing gaze)

Ukris: ‘-Silence!!! I’ll finish you off in a minute but after all, this one over here was the first to insult my family’s name!!! Her punishment will be the most severe one!!!!’ (Iziya and Graid are seen, crawling nearby with totally crushed faces and bodies)

Iziya: ‘-Only a family that has honor can be insulted!!! Yours has never known such a thing!!!!’ (Ukris starts laughing in a mocking way)

Ukris: ‘-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!! That may be so but at least I’ve managed to break yours to pieces and I’m going to kill all of your right now!!! That’s what really matters to me!!!’

Graid: ‘-That’s exactly why you’re going to lose, freakin’ demon!!!’ (Nightsong looks at him with confusion)

Ukris: ‘-Oh, yeah?! I still don’t understand why, though.’ (Yuki manages to get up, drops of blood still falling from the corners of her mouth, screwing her eyes in pain and decisiveness)

Yuki: ‘-Because …’ (she shoots tens of ice shuriken to Ukris who manages to dodge them with ease, laughing mockingly once again)

Ukris: ‘-You can’t even talk right anymore, kid!! All of you are absolutely worthless!! So why am I gonna lose, you say?’ (she then hears a noise and when she turns, Hikaru and Seiren have appeared in front of her, smacking a double lightning-explosive fist in her face, launching her tens of meters up in the air)

Hikaru, Seiren: ‘-BECAUSE OUR FAMILY IS WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO US!!!!’ (Ukris’s thoughts are then seen)

Ukris: ‘-Those shuriken … they weren’t meant to hit me … she was aiming for the laser strings on their bodies. She deliberately threw them in such a way that after I had dodged them, they would reach them right were the strings were!!! How on Sayten did she calculate such an angle so quick?!!’

Seiren appears in front of Ukris as she’s thrown in the air, catching her and falling down along with the greatest tyrant, enveloping both of them in orange fireworks, shocking her.

Seiren: ‘-Hikaru, Yu, now!!!’ (Yuki and Hikaru are waiting for her with decisive smiles)

Yuki, Hikaru: ‘-Combined deva … (they hold hands, raising them while grabbing their shoulders with their other hands, enveloping them in their elements)

THE FROZEN THUNDER OF VICTORY!!!!!’ (a constantly spinning lightning bolt is shot upward, piercing Ukris after Seiren has launched her to it, the lightning then freezing and lots of ice blades rip apart Nightsong’s body, blown up in red fireworks as well)

Everyone looks as the overwhelmed dark queen falls in a mini-crater nearby and Seiren goes to Yuki and Hikaru, both of whom are breathing heavily, hugging them over the shoulder with a smile.

Seiren: ‘-Wasn’t bad at all for a first time!!!’ (Yuki and Hikaru look at the pervert with confusion)

Yuki: ‘-What are you talking about?’ (Seiren moves closer to them with a mocking smile)

Seiren: ‘-I’m talking about your first combined attack, love birds!!! Oh, I was really moved by how romantic the whole scene was …’ (Yuki and Hikaru both smack their fists in his head, crushing him in the ground with comical angry faces)

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 20

CHAPTER 20: MOTHER VS. MOTHER

 We see Tokura on the cover, standing on a street light and looking up high towards the whole eastern part of Deckstoru, seeing all the way to the coast, putting his hand above his eyes to see better, having a most adventuristic look and smile.

‘Tokura: ‘-A great view, don’t you think?! I never wanna get down from here!!’’

  The Summerbolt trio is seen, hiding behind the rocky ice-covered shield and waiting, seeing that more and more cracks are appearing on its inside, Rose suddenly falling on her knees and blinking from pain and fatigue as Graid and Iziya go to help her.

‘All our heroes are under attack!! Whatever hope of victory there was has now vanished as Ukris lays waste to the hot-heads with incredible ruthlessness!!!’

Rose: ‘-I’m already … at my limit …’ (Iziya waves with her hands and an aerial hemisphere is created under the rocky one in order to protect everyone)

Iziya: ‘-Then just sit your ass down and take a break, old hag!!! We’ll handle this!!!’ (Graid is standing next to her, folding his arms and looking around with zero emotion)

Graid: ‘-My deva will be of no use here, so I’ll just sit this one out.’ (Iziya becomes comically angry, roaring at her brother)

Iziya: ‘-Shut your mouth and get your ass over here, boy!!!!’

He steps forward in terror as the focus turns to Yuki, her ice armor taking severe damage from the laser-lightning shots falling from the sky, a part of the armor around the calf of her leg breaking and a few lasers hitting her there, making her roll around the ground, falling down a downhill, taking cover there as much as she can.

Yuki: ‘-Damn it!! I can’t stop now!! I’ve got to find those three at all costs!!!’

The focus turns to King, Seiren and Hikaru, the first two dragging Hock and Gorudora after them, deeper within the rocks and then dragging Summerbolt to them, dropping on the ground with heavy breathing after that.

Hikaru: ‘-Damn it all. I never thought it would end this way.’

King: ‘-I don’t think any of us has. And all of this cuz that tyrannical bitch couldn’t accept defeat!’ (Seiren screws his eyes with a very serious look)

Seiren: ‘-No. That’s not it. All of this can’t be happening just because of Ulura. Someone way stronger is pulling the strings and I suppose it is exactly that someone that’s behind this current situation we’re in.’

Hikaru: ‘-You’re probably right but who?’

The villainously smiling Ukris Nightsong is seen, floating amidst the dark clouds and looking at the field, the remains of which are being destroyed by her technique, after which the focus turns to Saya, sitting nearby and having created a shield of solar flames around her and Ulura and Tenji.

Ukris: ‘-You still alive, Summerbolt?!!!?! Just so you know, I can keep this up all day!!!! You aren’t getting away from here anytime soon!!! (Saya screws her eyes in anger, looking at her new wounds, some of which are still not healed) Do you hear me, insect?!!!?! Or are you already dead?!!!! Ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!’

Saya: ‘-If only I could heal fast enough, I would beat the shit out of you!!!’ (everything around her then turns white and when she gets up, she realizes in shock she’s standing in an endless terrain made of whiteness, Hikaru appearing next to her)

Hikaru: (vision) ‘-Come on, mom!!! Don’t tell me you’re giving up so soon!! If you die, who’s gonna take care of Yuki, auntie Izi, uncly Grai and granny Rose? I can’t do that all by myself, you know!!! Show her what you’re really made of!!!!’

Saya: ‘-There’s nothing I can do anymore. Right now I don’t have the strength to both fight her and protect the people in the area of her attack. I’ve beaten her before but things are different now. She’s different and so am I. I don’t stand a chance against her.’ (Hikaru hits her on the head with a comical angry expression)

Hikaru: (vision) ‘-SHUT THE HELL UP!!!! YOU’RE SAYA SUMMERBOLT!!!! MY MOTHER AND THE HEAD OF OUR FAMILY!!!!! (he calms down a little) That woman that was talking to me just now … that wasn’t my mother!!! She’s just a cowardly weakling and not the person I look up to the most!!!’ (Saya looks aside sadly)

Saya: ‘-Even I’ve got limits, Saru. You know that.’ (Hikaru puts his hand on her shoulder, looking her seriously in the eyes)

Hikaru: (vision) ‘-Don’t forget what you’ve promised dad. That you’ll never give up. You can’t fail him, can you? If you do, you won’t be my mother, after all.’ (Saya is extremely shocked hearing this, grabbing her son’s hand, now very decisive)

Saya: ‘-You’re right, kid!! I promised him!!! So I just can’t fail, no matter what!!!’

Hikaru: (vision) ‘-Than go kick her ass the way only a Summerbolt can!!!!’

Saya nods as the action returns to the real world and she jumps up, running forward with a mighty roar, drawing Ukris’s attention, smiling even more widely.

Ukris: ‘-Hu-huuuuu!!!! So you’re still alive!!! It’s time to finish you off, then!!!!’ (she waves with her hand and the rain around her focuses on Hikaru’s mother, appearing on the field and flying up, enveloped in solar flames)

Saya: ‘-You don’t deserve to be a mother, Ukris!!! (Ukris is very shocked) That’s exactly why I’m going to defeat you!!! Because you lack the one most important thing that I have!!!’ (Ukris flies to her opponent as the dark clouds filled with purple lighting bolts follow her swiftly)

Ukris: ‘-And what’s that, Summerbolt?!!!’

Saya: ‘-The love and support of your child!!!! (the fiery mom teleports in zigzag, dodging all the lightning bolts hurled at her and reaching Nightsong with tremendous speed, hitting her in the stomach and then creating a solar flame storm which destroys the dark clouds) SOLARIS FLAME DEVA: STARRY SKIES’ WRATH!!!!!’

After the flames destroy the dark clouds, a rain of light falls from the sky along with small solar flame spheres which resemble little suns as Summerbolt slams Nightsong back on the ground with a double kick, spinning down and crushing in her like a fire drill, blown up in black lasers and purple lightning.

Ukris: ‘-You dispelled my technique?!!?! How?!!!’ (the little suns falling around her start exploding in solar flame explosions which she dodges constantly, trying to destroy the rest that keep on falling as Saya reaches her once again, clashing her forehead with hers and exhaling lots of smoke with a destructive expression)

Saya: ‘-I’m the ‘summer bolt’ that’s gonna take you down!!!’

They start exchanging punches with great speed, each one enveloped in her element, smacking the other one and crushing her all over the place, getting up almost instantly and launching towards their opponent once again, angrier than ever. Ukris manages to blow all the spheres that have fallen from the sky with thousands of lasers, then shooting one ray from her eyes, clashed with Saya’s fire wave, moving forward.

Ukris: ‘-If we keep this up, the only thing that’s gonna happen is that you’re gonna end up dead, Summerbolt!!! Don’t push your luck any further against me!!!’(the wave is destroyed just before it reaches Nightsong as Mrs. Summerbolt emerges from it, smashing her burning fist in Ulura’s mother’s face and crushing her in the end of the destroyed field)

Saya: ‘-My family is everything to me and I’ll sacrifice anything to save them!!! Just shut up and keep coming cuz you’ve never known that feeling and have no right to judge a Summerbolt’s decision!!!’

Ukris spreads her bat wings and Saya – her angel wings, the two of them flying to the other one, creating storms of their elements that decimate the whole area, finally reaching each other – the laser claws facing the fire blade, both roaring to the max.

Ukris: ‘-This is going to finish it!!!’

Saya: ‘-Damn right!!!’ (Saya slashes Ukris’s stomach while she pierces her with all five of her claws in the chest, shooting her aside and destroying the blade that’s still in her body, launching to Summerbolt crazier and more destructive than ever)

Ukris: ‘-You little … YOU THINK YOU’LL GET AWAY WITH JUST THAT AFTER ACTUALLY MANAGING TO WOUND ME?!!! I DIDN’T KILL YOU ONCE BUT I WON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN!!!!’ (her claws become even longer and sharper as she prepares to rip Saya’s head off, a few icy-aerial shots crushing her aside and a silhouette jumping to where Mrs. Summerbolt is)

Nighsong manages to get up, screwing her eyes in anger as her and Saya’s elemental storms disappear completely and amidst the smoke Yuki, Graid, Iziya, Rose, Seiren, King and all the other members of the two groups are seen and in front of everyone now stands Hikaru, holding his mother in his arms. Tokura then drops on the ground, covered in sweat and smiling slightly while blinking from exhaustion.

Tokura: ‘-I somehow … made it in time …’

Seiren: ‘-The team’s all together!! Let’s see how tough you’re now, bitch!!!’

Hikaru: ‘-You’ll pay for everything you’ve done till this moment, Ukris Nightsong!!! Get ready for the beating of your life!!!’ (Ukris smiles villainously as she steps forward and spreads out her arms in anticipation)

Ukris: ‘-Come on then, unsightly bastards!!!’

‘All the heroes unite against the greatest of evils!! Saya’s sacrifice has given them the opening they need and all that’s left now is for them to take advantage of it and finish this!!!’

Summerbolt (manga script) - Chapter 19

CHAPTER 19: WINGS OF DARKNESS

 We see Seiren and Ulura on the cover, dressed like rappers, waving around their fists and looking at the other one with great anger while a crowd of people has gathered nearby, everyone looking comically desperate.

‘Seiren: ‘-What, you think you’re so great?!’

Ulura: ‘-Damn right I am!! Don’t you think so, too?!’

The best way to answer a question is with another question!! Do you think the way Ulura does?!’

  The shocked Saya is seen while the black laser typhoon disappears and Ukris Nightsong steps forward, smiling even more dreadfully than her daughter and husband could together, looking at Ulura and then at the fiery mom.

‘How will the situation develop from here on?! Will Saya be able to defeat her last opponent or will she lose everything?!!’

Ulura: ‘-Mom, you came for …’ (black lasers explode around Ukris as she looks in a most destructive way at her daughter again)

Ukris: ‘-Silence, you hideous freak!!! I have not allowed you to speak!!!’ (Saya looks at her with comical confusion and puzzlement)

Saya: ‘-And they say our family isn’t normal.’ (Ukris’s gaze turns to Saya)

Ukris: ‘-It’s been a while, Saya. How have you been?’

Saya: ‘-Let’s cut the crap, shall we? I’m getting really tired of all of you bastards. If you’re the main perpetrator of this plot then I suppose you’ve got more information.’

Ukris: ‘-Even if that’s true, what does it matter to you?’

Saya: ‘-I’m pretty sure all the people under your command have already been defeated. Your mistake was that you underestimated the Summerbolts and their allies too much. That’s why you lost. I expected more from you.’ (Ukris smiles again, screwing her eyes villainously)

Ukris: ‘-Nothing’s over until all of the pieces are out of the game!! I just have to kill all the survivors from your team!!!’ (Saya steps forward as solar flames explode from her fists in large quantities)

Saya: ‘-Is that so? (she flies to her opponent) I WILL NEVER FORGIVE ANYONE FOR HURTING MY FAMILY, YOU LEAST OF ALL!!!!!’

Ukris also launches against Saya, exploding in tens of black laser shots, destroyed by just one fire roar from Mrs. Summerbolt when Ulura’s mother appears in front of her, shooting a concentrated black laser beam from her mouth. Hikaru’s mother manages to dodge it, creating lots of solar flame spheres and launching them to her opponent, the one flying up with her bat wings and destroying them, the other recreating her angelic wings and reaching her.

The two clash as Saya only manages to rip Nightsong’s shoulder while she smacks her in the face and then ties her in a black laser chain, kicking her down when the fiery mom destroys the chain, not noticing the huge sphere of black lasers, coming towards her from the side. She then wraps herself in her wings, passing through the sphere and destroying it in a marvelous explosion, reaching Ukris and giving her a head-butt, her stomach cut by the bat wings when the skies darken rapidly, drawing Yuki, Graid, Iziya, Rose and Seiren’s attention.

Seiren: ‘-This isn’t looking good at all. I’ve got to find Hikaru and King.’

Yuki: ‘-That’s coming from where Saya and Ulura were fighting.’

Iziya: ‘-But there’s no way Ulura can use a technique like this. So that means …’ (they turn to Rale, Graid now choking him to make the villain talk)

Rale: ‘-Like I said … none of us are gonna make it out of here alive. To resort to that technique so soon… looks like she wants to finish this quickly.’

Rose: ‘-What technique?’ (Rale smiles)

Rale: ‘-You’ll find out soon enough.’ (the focus turns to Saya, looking in shock at the clouds, now black and pierced by purple lightning bolts)

Ukris: ‘-Time to die, Summerbolt. All of you. My incompetent daughter and husband, that swine Line, they all deserve the same. This whole world is going to disappear soon enough, either way.’ (Saya goggles her eyes in shock, hearing this)

Saya: ‘-What are you talking about?!’ (Ukris smirks)

Ukris: ‘-We’re all nothing but tools. (she raises her left arm up as an orb of black lasers and purple lightning forms in her palm) But we’re also more than enough to deal with you!!! Double deva: DARK SKIES’ GHASTLY ROAR!!!!!’ (she blows the sphere up as rain starts falling from the black clouds, drawing everyone’s attention once again)

Saya: ‘-This … no … it can’t be … !!!’

The rain turns out to be mini-concentrated black laser shots around which purple lightning bolts are jumping, forcing Hikaru’s mother to fly aside, hit by a few of them, falling down while her wings disappear.

Ukris: ‘-THIS IS THE END OF YOUR RULE, HOPELESS SCUM!!!!!’

The rain falls from the black clouds everywhere, totally destroying the whole park ‘Nebula’ as Saya sees Ulura and Tenji who are lying nearby, hit by a few shots as well, passing through them like a solar flame shot, teleporting by the trees nearby.

She then looks around with heavy breathing, realizing that the trees are also being destroyed, catching her opponents and running aside, soon enough seeing the bodies of the Nelaz twins and Lara Jade, creating a solar flame shield around them.

On the other battlefield, Rose creates a huge rock hemisphere, reinforced by Yuki’s ice covering to protect everyone in the crater and its vicinity when the baby doll looks ahead in shock and jumps to there.

Graid: ‘-Yu, where are you going? We need to stay here until this technique is cancelled and then we’re going to go and help Big sis!!!’

Yuki: ‘-It’s not her I’m worried about! (looks down) Suru, Sele, King … (turns to the Summerbolt trio) They’re somewhere out there, in the open!!! If they’re unconscious, they won’t be able to survive this! I have to go to them!! (she crushes a part of the stone wall in front of her, the hole disappearing almost immediately as she runs and jumps as fast as she can amidst the rain of laser-lightning shots, armored in ice) Guys, hang in there!! I’m coming!!!’

The focus turns to Seiren who’s dragging Gorudora while King appears in front of him soon enough, carrying Hikaru and Hock with him, the two being shocked when they first see the other one.

Seiren: ‘-King!!! You’re conscious again!!!’

King: ‘-This way, Sele!!! I found some cover from this damn rain nearby!! Let’s go!!’

Both of them run aside, soon reaching a few rock formations, sitting under one of them where the lightning lasers can’t reach and then realizing that they’ve been hit by a few shots, smiling as they totally drop.

Seiren: ‘-I guess this was it, huh?’ (King nods)

King: ‘-Guess you’re right. At least we’ve managed to take these bastards down. That’s enough for me.’ (Hikaru then wakes up, seeing the duo as Seiren pulls the mad genius to himself, trying to choke him while hugging him over the shoulder)

Seiren: ‘-Besides, we’re gonna die with this freakin’ asshole over here, so what more can we ask for?!!’ (Hikaru starts waving around with his hands and a comical angry face while spilling blood)

Hikaru: ‘-Seiren, if it wasn’t for my wounds, I would crack your skull open right now!!!’ (Seiren and King start laughing loudly)

Seiren: ‘-Don’t worry, son!! I would love to crack yours, too!!’

King: ‘-He-he-he-he!!!!’

‘Even when facing such an end, the hot heads are as happy and crazy as ever!! They will greet death with a smile as they have done with everything else!!!’
