I find it really funny how whenever I'm asked if I have pets and I say I have dachshunds without fail people will just look at me confused until I reiterate and say wiener dogs because thats how most people recognize the breed.

I know I'm a bit more of a dog nerd than the average person but it kinda surprises me. If someone calls a wiener dog a dachshund they usually have had one at some point

I wonder how many people legitimately think "wiener dog" is the actual breed name?

I'm getting new carpet in my room today so I'm probably going to just lay on the floor for awhile because YAY SOFT CARPET!!

Laying on the floor is great; coming home from a long day of school? Don't lay down on the couch! The floor is much better! Just BOOM, face down in the middle of the living room. It's genius.

Tumblr doesn't let me see people's new profile pictures and it makes me upset (not that ones I can see aren't cool, but I feel like I'm missing out lmao)

Like, I wanna see people's cool new pfps! But I can only see them if they give me notifications where their pfp is visible, and that's only HALF the time! AND IN SUCH LOW DETAIL :(

But also at the same time it makes it easier for me to remember who is who by profile pictures bc some usernames are difficult to remember 😭
