I keep wanting to make a comment, but every time I feel as though nothing I could say could really matter. If I did say it, it would simply be an echo of what others have said before and offer no real merit or new perspective.

Or worse, it will be the completely wrong perspective.

This is worse, because the only reason to comment is to try and find like minded people, but it’s like ffs, why can’t I shout into the oblivion and get a nice little “sick” from ThatGrill29? Or just some connection? I think that’s what I really crave.

But I intentionally isolate myself, I know this and I reprimand myself for it, yet I try to convince myself I am also content on this island. I look at this post and want to crawl into a hole, and I think it’s because it’s vulnerable and it’s like “here’s something deeply personal, do with it what you will” and that’s like ???? I don’t want to be seen, I want to be heard, if that makes sense. I don’t want to go viral, I just want like 30 people to be like ‘damn, I felt that’ but I’m saying anything you open up for everyone and that just makes me AHHHHHHHHH.

It is in my hubris that I think my words will hold dear.

To think that I could speak into the vast cosmos and have my words hold weight.

That someone, many people, out in the great expanse will hear this de profundis and see an inkling of the world they also lead.

I want to relate to no one at all. I want to be an island that is untouchable, unbreachable.

I want to maroon myself in the idea that I am different, that my problems are inherently unique, and no one can inscribe the deep pain that marks my soul.

This contains a deep sorrow, for if no one knows me or my pain, it is only then that I am truly alone.

I am validated in my individualism, but at what cost? The cost of people truly knowing me? Of me knowing another?

These notions churn around in my head until I am but a dry husk of my former self.

And it is on these bits, these small remaining pieces of me, do I allow the people to finally feast.

It is not until I am small, contained, diminished, that I finally feel palatable. And isn’t that a hard pill to swallow?

the D20 cast is a truly wild yet perfect combination:

emily “hilda hilda” axford - manages to push every interaction to the furthest extreme and commits HARD to making it work. Consistently leaves Brennan speechless, which is a hard thing to do.

Ally “eggroll time” Beardsly - consistently rolls some of the most important narrative Nat 20s. Also has a lot of the best comedic dialogue each season. I always think about the casual “hey, baby” towards Ayda. Cracks me up every time.

Lou “rolling up” Wilson - A great role player. His best moments come when he’s allowed to get frantic. He’s always so disgusted by the enemy the group is fighting. A lesbian ally.

Siobahn “Boggy the Froggy” Thompson - I’ve said it before, a truly underrated player. She is so in tune with combat it’s not even funny, and her characters, while sometimes subtle, have so much heart.

Zac “Are you my dad?” Oyama - King of the himbos. The comedic timing on this guy is incredible, he can make the entire table laugh with just one word. He commits to bits in the long term that get funnier the more you hear them.

Brian “My Gender is Gun” Murphy - Only has two modes: small little guy and BIG HEFTY BOI. The perfect antithesis of Ally’s perfect rolling. Always seems to be a little anxious about whatever’s happening

Brennan “Kill the Dog” “FUCKED Up” “Rad” Lee Mulligan - I don’t need to explain.

I could watch these guys play anything.

Ok so like I’m in love with Fexi, but I was thinking about how last episode she was over and she wasn’t even nervous or anything. My theory is she’s been over a lot since the store incident, and they’ve been texting, but we only see pivotal points in their relationship (meeting, the store, hand holding) bc everything is being told through Rue (as seen w Jules and Elliot), and since Rue and Lex aren’t close anymore she only knows these points in their relationship. It would also make sense bc Ash didn’t say shit about Lexi being over, and we KNOW how he would be making fun of his brother that whole time if this was the first instance. ANYWAY THATS TO SAY EVEN IF THEY ONLY HAD THREE SCENES THEY HAVE THE MOST CHEMISTRY IN THIS FUCKIN SHOW
