#VoteBlue
Republicans will take more rights. That is a given. They have promised.
Look at Red States and abortion, IVF, trans rights, drag queens, book bans, CRT, and DEI.

I adore Athena with Bobby and I love Chim with Maddie.
Hen with Karen... As characters I really like them, as a couple... Well... I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the entire show, but personally? Some of the things they did and said to each other I'd consider grounds for divorce.
Truthfully if we didn't have Hen and Karen I wouldn't watch 911 at all. If there isn't queer representation in a series I don't give it a chance, and 911 has been one of my comfort shows since season 3. I'm glad I didn't skip it and I'm grateful that Buck's bi-awakening brought new attention to the show. May they last for many more seasons.
if buddie becomes canon 911 will be the first show with banger after banger after banger after banger of main ships.
athena and bobby? unmatched. immaculate.
hen and karen? magnificent.
chimney and maddie? perfection.
buck and eddie? flawless.

It's a good server. I didn't realize how much I needed a Jewish left-leaning queer-friendly nerd-centric space until I joined it.
They also have a matchmaking channel, which I don't need but I love to see.
Jewish D&D discord server
Hi there, I hope this submission is ok, I’m not familiar with Tumblr at all. My name is Boaz, I’m an Israeli Jew and a few weeks ago I opened a discord community called Dreidels & Dragons. I initially opened it after reading a Reddit post from a Jew saying they’ve been ousted from their D&D group due to I/P issues.
What came out of this simple idea was honestly amazing. It started as a D&D community but just became something so much bigger. It’s a place for the Jewish, Jew-ish and Jewish allies to talk, vent and kvetch. We have channels for every conceivable topic from entertainment to politics to Jewish culture to LGBTQ+. With over 160 members, the server is growing from strength to strength and it’s a pleasure to behold.
Is it ok to advertise this server here? For obvious reasons I can’t share a server invite publicly but I’d be more than happy if people interested could DM me on Discord? My Discord handle is leviarchon.
Thank you!

By the time I'll find the words to convey how much I love you, I would already love you more than that. Happy anniversary.

We're different people with different outlooks and different coping mechanisms, I don't regret that I responded to your post for it brought up these well-articulated insights only you could verbalize on how dear your names are to you. I do apologize if it seemed like I tried to convince you to change your name, what I meant was to share that it's a nuisance when names don't align with people's expectation whether you're cis or trans.
"I don't want to abandon those gifts in order to be perceived as male" is the heart of it. It is BS to change a facet of yourself to placate strangers about another. It is maddening how our name alone is enough for others to presume our identity, not just gender but also religion and ethnicity/race. But that's a whole other can of worms.
Weird trans feeling to be like
“I want to be Dancinbutterfly(he/him)”
“Not Butterfy? That’s more gender neutral. “No. Not really. “What about DB? That’s masc?” Sure I can use it in places I don’t feel safe.
But like…I don’t actually feel like I, as a man, am different from me as a woman.
So why would I change my name. Society says my name is a girls name. But if it’s my name and I am a man then Like… wouldn’t it be a man’s name?
All my worst dysphoria is social. And it’s like “I am not the DM of the system that is Americans Life and I don’t want to explain the Gender subclass features when we didn’t do lines and veils.”

There's what we feel and then there's what we project, in many cases your name is the first thing people will know about you. My cousin's name is Noa, which is strictly feminine in Hebrew and commonly masculine in English, so more often than not people assume she's a man if they read her name prior to seeing her face.
My name is gender neutral and many times people who only ever read it assume I'm a woman because I have a husband with an undoubtedly masculine name, so surely we can't both be men!
What I'm getting at is that your name is your introduction. It's not who you are, just who others guess you might to be. Like a book cover.
