Oh god. Parker is embarrassed thinking peter is taking him to meet his mistress and I'll bet anything this woman is like. A scientific consultant or something

why am i not surprised that peter loves gossipy old women. of course he does, look at his mother. and of course he keeps one on his payroll for intelligence gathering.
gotta admit, though, i didn't call him comparing them to a renewable resource being mismanaged by the government though. that one was a surprise xD

what a satisfying ending. peter gets his dramatic last-minute court entrance. mr grimethorpe shows up just in time to get bodied by a taxi and die. the newly freed mrs grimethorpe looks at peter's bro whom she had an affair with and is like, actually, despite the fact that i risked my life to save yours from a murder charge, upon further reflection i don't like you that much i just hated my husband and you were there and polite, which put you leagues ahead of him at the time, but now that he's dead i have so many more options for a happy life. and then gets to go on a shopping trip with peter, the objectively better brother. and then peter gets to finally take a break to celebrate with The Boys, get blitzed out of his mind, and climb a statue. excellent wrap-up

Recently on Unhelpful File Labels in the Archives:
On-Going Project. Folders were empty.
Well Written Articles, 1999. There were no articles in this folder. There were a lot of budget reports though.
Stuff. You are killing me smalls.
Section 569-055 Knowingly burning or exploding. This was just papers shoved between files, I have a lot of questions and zero answers.

Yeah I got to that part in the audiobook like...5 minutes into completely untranslated, unbroken wall of French text is when I realized oh, THAT'S why the narrator had such immaculate pronunciation in the earlier little sprinkled in phrases throughout, because they knew he was going to have to do THAT lol. And I didn't know whether it was going to be translated at all
Anyway, glad the published put their foot down on THAT one at least. Like, I get her point that you COULD get by without it since sir impey summarizes it all again in his closing remarks in the courtroom, but at the same time. The snobbery of it all if true lol
