Chapter 9 Updates (Finally!)

Hey there! Long time no see!

I have to... apologize. I haven't really updated you guys enough! I'm sorry.

Life and school really took me more time than what I expected, and that of course didn't let me write the fic as much as I wanted. Add that to the fact that Chapter 9 was a very long one to write, and you have 5 months or something hiatus.

Sorry about that again.

So! Now, onto the good news! Chapter 9 is DONE!

However, I want to apologize to you guys, and I had in mind to release Chapter 10 alongise Chapter 9.

Now, Chapter 10 is still in early phases of work, so it might take some time (dont worry, I won't let it be another 5 months wait). So, I want to know your opinion.

Let me know! It's all up to you now... and also up to me to finish Chapter 10 but shhhhh

I really hate to bug you but any idea of when chapter nine is gonna come out? I finished S2 of the reboot and it sucks ass; need some well written wholesome scarmien to soothe the pain

I also just finished season 2! I reflected on the fact that it was better to stop working on Chapter 9 until Season 2 was done. Now that it is, it should take MAYBE a week for everything to be done (taking in consideration school and personal life and stuff y'know)

dont answer if this is spoilery, but will the zee/ripper be important to the plot? theyre a very interesting pairing to me, so i'd like to see more of them :)

I mean, Zee is kinda everyone's friend, and since Zee is gonna be a major character, I guess it's kinda of important? He's definetly gonna speak with everyone at least once, and he has his little trio with Chase and Ripper, so yeah, they are for sure gonna interact. I don't think their friendship is gonna be THAT relevant for neither of their characters but it's gonna be there among the other friendships of the fic!

Here from the ao3 chapter! Obv don’t answer if it is spoilery, but I wanted to ask if Millie’s notebook will end up impacting the story at all? In canon it focused a lot on her judgements of Priya since they were close, but I’m wondering iflearning she was being examined has any impact on SG. I suppose that assumes she watches any episodes, which she hasn’t appeared to do thus far. I guess follow up question is if SG is watching the episodes somehow in private lol.

Good question! I can say that Millie's notebook MIGHT get used for something, tho it will not impact the story heavily. It will just be in the pile of things that the characters might get affected by. But overall, as the story progresses, the notebook will be the last of their problems.

About SG watching the eps... weeeeeell, can't really talk about it for now, but it will be answered in the fic in future chapters!

Without major spoilers, do you plan to make scarmien a canon relationship by the end of the fic? I know season two would retcon that but you can always write it off as being part of an alternate universe

Also, why does the fic have Zee/Lauren as one of its tags?

Okay, it's kind of a big spoiler for the plot if they are gonna get togheter or not, so all I'm gonna say is that the characters are definetely gonna question the same thing.

About Zee/Lauren is because Zee will become a major character very soon, and he'll definetly have some moments with Lauren.

Chapter 9 Updates!

Don't worry! It's in the works! But school is at my neck rn so I'll have to give priorities to that for at least another week or so.

Season 2 of the Reboot is coming out in just 2 days at the time of writing this, so I'm waiting for that before I continue with the story any further! I want everything canon (as much as I can at least) to fit with my fanfic, so I'll first watch Season 2, and then from that continue with the story I have in mind. If anything that I wrote in past chapters somehow contradicts what will be said in Season 2, it will either be modified and retconned, or if I can, it will fit in someway into the fic canon. (Hopefully).

That's it for now! I know, very underwhelming as an update, but with Season 2 around the corner and with school bein an ass, I have to give my priorities to what's needed.

WHOS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER TO WRITE ABOUT (IF ITS IS DAMIEN LIKE I THINK THAN WHOS SECOND FAV??)

Hard to say. I recently had tons of fun writing Wayne and Raj for how stupidly comedic they are, but Damien and Scary Girl are also very interesting. The MK segment in Chapter 8 made me enjoy her character more than before. As for everyone else, I guess they are fine, I don't have THE most fun writing Caleb, Axel and Nichelle as of Season 1 (for obvious reasons). If I have to say who I think I'm really gonna enjoy writing, I think either Zee or Chase for the same reasons as for Wayne and Raj. I guess I'll have to wait for everyone left to join the chaos before I can give a proper answer to this

"The Right Chemistry Chapter 8: More Chaos, Less Payoffs" Is Officially Out!

It's done! Chapter 8 is FINALLY DONE!!

I honestly thought these chapters couldn't get longer than what they did already with Chapter 7, but this one is beyond what I expected! Chapter 7 was about 15 pages long, Chapter 8 reached 25 pages!

Do I think it's the best chapter so far? No, I think that title still goes to Chapter 7 as of now.

For anyone discovering this fanfiction just now, this is the OFFCIAL BLOG!

On this blog you'll see updates about the fanfiction, you can ask questions about it in the ask box, and you'll get some fun facts behind the art! (I'm workin on the art for all these chapters I swear they'll get done eventually).

When will Chapter 9 release? Not sure honestly. School is being an ass for now, so I only have the weekends to write the fanfiction. As you can imagine, writing chapters these long takes some time, and same goes for the actual story of it! I know it's something that is expected, but you also have to plan how things will keep going forward.

I have some very cool ideas for this fic, and I can't wait to show you all what I have in mind!

For now, I just hope you'll have patience with me, and I swear that I'll keep working on this fic everytime I have the opportunity to!

The Right Chemistry Chapter 8 Updates!

Currently working hard on Chapter 8. So far this is the longest chapter I wrote. Chapter 7 was around 15 pages, Chapter 8 reached the 20! And it's just half of the story! I'm unsure if I want to split this chapter in two, mainly because in the first parts nothing significant happens, and waisting someone's time and patience for a chapter that is ultimatley hollow would make me feel guilty. If I had to give a date, it would probably be Sunday 19th. Big gap, I know. But with school being an ass, I have to also give priorities to that, and then the fic. For now, just know that Chapter 8 is going great and I'm quite happy with it!

In today’s post, I show you the art for The Right Chemistry Chapter 3: A Cold Night by the Pool!

This one is so far the drawing that took me the longest to create due to me wanting this to look more like the show's art style, and because I also had to draw some of Playa Des Losers' environments in the background. I'd say I'm decently proud of how this came out, tho I think the art direction for the series will become more like my way of drawing, while also having the characters look like they do in the show. So expect more lightning and shading to be done in future chapter art pieces. Still, for what this is I'm satisfied with the result.
