love how each pjo book takes place in the span of a week. so like every summer percy has one crazy week and then the rest of his year is normal

the thing that sucks is that people love saying sleep early is good etc etc and yeah it is. I've seen some benefits before. but I think it sucks to ignore that late night is the only time with any freedom. I think it sucks to not acknowledge the dread in waking up and it's a work day again

Kate Baer, from And Yet: Poems; “Idea”
[Text ID: “I will enjoy this life. I will open it like a peach in season, suck the juice from every finger, run my tongue over my chin. I will not worry about clichés or uninvited guests peering in my windows. I will love and be loved. Save and be saved a thousand times. I will let the want into my body, bless the heat under my skin. My life, I will not waste it. I will enjoy this life.”]

I'm never leaving Tumblr, it just feels too nice not to be ignored 24/7 like it so often happens in other platforms when you're not a "big account". like, people are ACTUALLY seeing each other's posts and interacting within fandoms thanks to the tagging system and that's amazing, never change thx ily

stop everything. It wasn't raining at all in the first episode, at first, until we had this scene of Sally sitting in the heavy rain. Did she call for Poseidon, make an offering like she did in episode 7? Was he just trying to manifest his support, his presence in the only way he could at that moment, after their son had been expelled — now that they knew there was no coming back from this, that Percy had to go to Camp, that the monsters would always follow him? Or was it merely, simply rain, and was she only trying to feel close to him, hoping he would know what was happening and would give her the strength to do what was necessary?

I really like this version of hades they've gone with in the pjo show
this is a guy who's chilling, he's content in his solitude, he knows that his wife will be home in a matter of weeks
and not only that but the second percy figures it out, he immediately offers sanctuary
I like to see a hades that doesn't stick with the dark, brooding and depressed idea we have of him because this is a man who has been able to remove himself from the toxicity of his family is is clearly all the more happier for it

just watched 3 OUAT seasons in less than a week. I'm going absolutely insane for Hook — I've been obsessed since the first time he appeared in the show. god, he's truly my favourite type of character, it's so good it almost feels illegal

Saddest thing ever is reading an academic paper about a threatened or declining species where you can tell the author is really trying to come up with ways the animal could hypothetically be useful to humans in a desperate attempt to get someone to care. Nobody gives a shit about the animals that “don’t affect” us and it seriously breaks my heart

"well hello, Queen"
I just know that writing sukuna's lines must be highly satisfying. the ego? the nonchalance? so much that it becomes playfulness? ... ugh he's such an entertaining character to read. too bad I also want him to die like, next chapter or something
