Just when I thought I was done with TOH... the pilot and Hunter's original design draws me back in

I love this alot, mostly because it destroys the argument anti lunter weirdos made about Hunter being a last minute add in. Which was like, never actually true because SAI implied foreshadowed alot of... interesting stuff... the whole Lunter kiss. Hunter was also in alot of early production stuff as well... like someone on the production team literally said Dana had him in mind since early Bible days LMAO (ricky cometa over on instagram)

The other thing I like is that this confirms Hunter being related to Belos wasn't a last minute add in either.

NGL I'm frothing at the mouth over the implication William was put into an eternal sleep by Obron/Belos because he fell in love with a witch... Like Williams whole thing with being a witch-hunter who lost his memories is the perfect set-up for that kind of reveal...

Man, what is it with Sonic Prime and it's need to make Shadow a Vegeta type of character? I've noticed how the western side of Sega has an apparent dislike for Shadow and Team Dark.

Shadow DOES have people he cares about. But Team Dark hasn't been acknowledged since, like, Sonic 06'. I also don't like how Rouge is shoehorned into Sonic's friend group... that doesn't make any sense to me, given Rouge's moral alignment. Rouge could have been included in the show without being pushed onto Sonic's team.

Again, I've noticed the western side of Sega has a very strange dislike for Team Dark vs the Japanese side of Sega and I'm not sure why that is tbh...

Maybe I shouldn't believe someone when they tell me Dana had no interest in showing us the Philip's backstory with Evelyn and Caleb, since they have no evidence to back it up.

But, like, the thing is - this show knows how to follow through on its foreshadowing. It checked off almost everything that was presented in SAI and it also told us Luz's palismen was going to be snake themed before it hatched. So, the show knows what it's doing at least in this department.

If TOH actually had any interest in showing us Philip's backstory with Caleb and Evelyn, then they would have foreshadowed it in Season 1 and not just in Yesterday's Lie. Even if they didn't have a clear-cut vision of how things were gonna play out, they would have at least foreshadowed Belos having conflict with Evelyn.

I'll go into this at a later time (a much later time, because I got alot of shit to take care of in my personal life), but keeping Evelyn alive without telling us why she never sought revenge for Caleb presents a bigger problem than people realize.

#this is a problem because it presents a question the show never intended on answering in the first place #and i get that there are some questions that are better off left unanswered... but this was not one of them #Evelyn is relevant to Philip's backstory and she's also an ancestor of Eda- the deuteragonist #This is like if Gravity Falls never revealed the author of the journals despite hinting at it numerous times before the reveal #but like. that show actually cared about telling an entertaining story. so

TBH If you were to go back in time and tell me TOH was going to be the show that completely turns me off from consuming and analyzing stories, I would have called you crazy.

You know... looking back on this show, it isn't audacious of Amity to call Luz a bully, since the show never actually presents Luz as a victim of bullying.

In fact, it's the opposite - Luz was antagonizing her schoolmates and disrupting the learning environment. It got so bad the counselor made Camilla send Luz to a correctional summer camp... And Yesterday's Lie makes it even weirder by saying "If Luz actually toned down her disruptive behavior at school, she could actually make friends. Luz is the problem here, not the system"

It's no wonder why Luz liked Amity and didn't think it was a big deal to crush on her and start dating her before Amity made amends with Willow and Gus LOL
