Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children (1998)
I can't believe it. I didn't write about this album yet. It's so freaking good. I usually meditate while listening to it. It gives me chills every time.
It's kind of an album that makes you feel good about yourself. Tiny wispy "I Love You" mixed into ambient noise music. Feels like a walk in a mossy forest or a run in the middle of a drizzle. Truly a spiritual experience. A cold shower on a hot day as an album. Light blue with those green undertones.
It keeps you intact with your soul. I could recommend listening to It while high, but first try it without. You will understand what I mean after that. Great music and a great experience.

Being Dead - When Horses Would Run (2023)
This album was an unexpected gold found in my YouTube recommendations.
The vibe of this album is something like lost-in-time 80s band playing in your favourite bar on a warm summer night. It is so easy to imagine a hot plane desert with horses in the distance. It's a cowboy rock.
Goofy storytelling. Very chill vibes of instruments and dreamy vocals. I have so much fun imagining a cartoon with this kind of music. No track feels like a book of tiny stories. Each song is about something else, but at the end they are all connected with a melody.
I would have so much fun dancing to this in the middle of the field, watching the sun. I adore the whole album. How spontaneous it feels.
I think I like "Daydream" the most. Vocals are so soothing and sound like lullaby.

Squid - Bright Green Field (2021)
Extrymle plesent listen. The sounds perfectly scratch my brain and match the warm sunlight on my skin when I listen to this album. It's post-punk with hits of electronic and noise. I like idea that this is a perfect mix of chaos and calm.
Squid has a similar sound of post-punk as Black Midi and Black Country, New Road.
It's not for everyone, I can promise you that. You have to want to explore your music taste. It is not an everyday listen, but it is an amazing hour-long adventure.
Every song is layers and layers of sounds and concepts. Not a single track is boring or less worth a listen.

Yves Tumor - Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) (2023)
I didn't expect to like this album so much. It's a interesting take on today's pop music with raw punk/grunge vibes and electronic sounds. The musician's voice is treated like another instrument that gives those higher sounds. It's fresh and melancholic at the same time.
We start strong with "God is a Circle". Fast breathing, faster groove of a guitar and smooth, raw vocals.
Then we hop to funky "Lovely Sewer", a beautiful love-like song about friendship and feelings that you sometimes have to swallow. "You’re still a friend of mine".
Another extremely beautiful sad love song is "Meteora Blues". Missing your lover while listening to this song feels so good.
I really enjoy the mix of choir and electric guitar on "Parody" with the repiting question"What makes you feel so important?".
I can't really choose which track is my favourite because the whole album is a story.

Moor Mother & billy woods - BRASS (2020)
This is an album that not only sounds amazing but also feels extraordinary with the great poetry of Moor Mother and billy woods. The vibe is mystical, smooth and feels like walking with old souls of this world.
The sound is so strong it gives me chills at moments. It feels like you are flying over space and time while the two artists give you a big black history lesson.
Unfortunately, I am no musician and I lack words to describe this masterpiece. But if you find yourself 45 min of free time, then please give it a listen. Take this trip. Feel it.
My favourite song must be the second on the album "The Blues Remembers Everything The Country Forgot" feat. Wolf Weston (of Saint Mela).

I Monster - Neveroddoreven (2005)
I am absolutely in love with this album. Total witchy vibes for the fall. A lot of interesting sounds and climatic vocals.
Album starts with a sound and vibe that you will hear in the rest of the album. It’s a clear warm ( brown or orange )electronic vibes with vocals that are used as another sound and not the lead of the song.
Second song “Daydream in Blue” must be something that I look for in music right now. Melodic delicious vocals added on top of each other to make them more and more interesting. It is a perfect song to daydream. Rest of the album keeps me interested as well, some song more some less. Every single needs to be listened to at least once tho, so don’t skip them after few seconds.
The star of the album must be “Who is She?”. Sixth on the album with powerful vocals and and memorable melody and mood. It’s a femme fatal or a dark melancholy vibe that I could listen to every day.

Slowthai - Nothing Great About Britain (2019)
Again I am listening to and recommending new music from Britain. Slowthai's debut album was supposed to be released at the same time the Brexit happened and It makes a lot of sense when u listen to it. This album tells a story of people who are "less important" and the duality of Britain. On the one hand a Queen, on the other families that nobody cares for. This is a kind of protest against turning a blind eye toward poverty.
Album is full of unforgettable songs, but my favourite must be "Doorman".

Stromae - Multitude (2022)
To be fully honest, I've been waiting for this album, and it didn't disappoint me. Every song has a fantastic melody that makes u want to dance or think about your whole life. This is another example of a funky melody and deep lyrics. The whole album takes the loneliness that the artist felt and puts it into a piece of fantastic music.
Personal favourites for this album are "Santé" and "L’enfer". Also, I recommend watching music videos for these songs.

Lor - Sunlight (2020)
This is an album created by a small band from Poland. The whole idea for it was a Sun. I enjoyed these delicate, dreamy and light sounds. Reminded me of really early mornings in summer or spring when you are alone with the sun and birds. It's a short 16 min creation but I had fun listening to it. Maybe it's not a super masterpiece that nobody ever did before but it's nice.
"bye bye, sun francisco" is my beloved track on this album.

Gábor Szabó - Dreams (1968)
This is an album for all my witchy humans out there. There are no vocals here but the sound of a smooth jazz guitar is all that you need. It's like a good mystical journey of sounds with an amazing chill vibe. I recommend listening to it when you work, fall asleep or just as a free time thing. Sometimes it gets dark and it reminds me of old witch movies full of magic and ancient creatures. The cover art actually matches the music perfectly.
No favourites here, the whole album is just great.

No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom (1995)
If you are starting your bad bitch era this is an album for you. Full of anger and frustration at men. I absolutely enjoy the change between a babydoll and the rusty voice of Gwen mid the songs. The grunge underground vibes of the band really hit a spot for me. Maybe It's a bit old but give it a try if u like the American grunge scene.
My ultimate favourites are both "Don't Speak" and "Tragic Kingdom". Tragic Kingdom track has some really amazing vocals

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. (2017)
If you didn't listen to it yet, then you are missing out. To be honest this is not the newest and unknown album but one that I go back to a lot. There is nothing I can dislike about this art piece. The poetry and philosophy of words is just out of this world. If u don't want to listen to the text and just enjoy the sound u got it here.
My absolute favourite track must be PRIDE.

Big Thief - Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You (2022)
Absolut must-hear album, but I warn you right now that it's an emotional experience. It's full of different themes and places. Each song transports you to a different place, It's a bit like a collection of short bedtime stories. If u have an hour and 20 min of free time you should put your headphones on and close your eyes, just listen.
I personally love the small sounds that they put in each song. It feels like they are preparing a performance before the song starts. Sounds are slow and kind on the ear.

Monkey - Journey to the West (2008)
This is a side project of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett based on 16th century Chinese novel with the same title. If you are a fan of Gorillaz (especially older albums) this is very similar and new at the same time. It's for sure not an album for everyone.

Parquet Courts - Wide Awake! (2018)
Dance-punk album that is just full of energy. The vibe reminds me of an old fashion cartoon from the '70s. It's a nice music time machine if it comes to sound, but the problems that we read about in the lyrics are as of today. Clime change, craving for money, addiction, homelessness and more. Those topics are so well hidden in those happy sounds that are hard to find the in the first time listen.

Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia (2022)
This album starts with the song "In ár gCroíthe go deo" - In our hearts forever, that is a beautifully haunting sound of grief. It's inspired by a story about a church being against Celtic writing on a grave of Irish women. The whole album tells a story about being unwelcome in a place you live and missing your home and culture.
For me, this album is just full of beautiful sounds and meaning. I am in love with the harsh voice of the vocalist. My favourite track - "I Love You".

Ka - A Martyr's Reward (2021)
This album is like a prayer. Soft sound but full of strong words. You really have to listen to what this man is trying to tell you, and when you do is just out of this world experience. My personal favourite track must be "Peace Peace Peace".
