The many ways Gwen and Sebastian are chaotic

Dear Diary,

Yet another day occured where Gwen never fails to amase me with her chaotic nature.

However lets start at the beginning, this morning, I managed to meet a 7th year student named Sienna Lee(@ask-sienna lovely to have you with us on this unfortunate adventure). Gwen introduced her to me as her mentor and close buddy. How the world is a small place, I remember Shawn telling me about a Sienna almost blowing up a potions class..

Eitherway i introduced myself and went on my way to find Ominis. Today was one of the days where I had him only in my classes. The Lovebirds simply signed up for more duelist themed classes. We went through Herbology, Charms and Beasts class together before we decided to go to the Undercroft to hangout. He wanted to practice some spells and learn for potions class for tomorrow. I am being truthful and am telling you that I simply was too distracted with teaching him the spell movements to learn for my own things..His concentrated face was just too adorable to not pay attention to.

Once I helped him figure out his way with his wand, I finally started revising for my classes and chatting with Ominis about various plant types before our peaceful banter got interrupted with Gwen stomping into the Undercroft in utter panic like a sniffler getting caught with gold. Behind her was a very confused Sebastian and I slowly figured out why as I saw a tiny mammal creature in Gwen's arms. My anger rose as she explained to me that she transfigured Leander Prewett into a small guinea pig for bullying Poppy.

I called her stupid for attempting to transfigure a Human being if she cannot even transfigure an object yet. However I asked her to demonstrate how she did it on a barrel to figure out what exactly mightve went wrong. I figured as much that it was indeed a failed transfiguration through the movement and swiftness of her wand technique. She shouldve paid more attention in class(instead of having googly eyes at Sebastian..come on, its obvious).

I managed to undo her error via Reparifarge (a spell used to reverse poorly performed transfiguration spells or partially transfigured objects).

After that i didnt find her anywhere since Prewett stormed away after thanking me for transfiguring him back with a flustered look on his face. Ominis and I figured she got detention with Sebastian.

Hey, atleast now she can stare at him as long as she likes :P. Goodnight diary.

The guinea pig incident

Gwen: *runs towards Sebastian in a panic* Seb! Help! I fucked up big time… Sebastian: Hey little firecracker, what's up? You left Kaelyn alone at the broom again *snickers softly* Gwen: *shakes head* worse… Sebastian: *gasp* did you sneak into the restricted section without me?! Gwen: *rolls eyes, shakes head more vigorously* no you idiot. worse! Sebastian: *becomes serious. His gaze darkens* you didn't really set fire to anything, did you? Gwen: what? No!? *holds up a guinea pig* THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!! Sebastian: draws eyes upwards a guinea pig? Gwen: THAT'S PREWETT!!! Sebastian: *spits out his pumpkin juice. Hits Imelda in the process*

Rescue mission gone wrong

Dear Diary,

I hated today. Well, the beginning went smoothly actually, I was yet again in the same DADA class as my wonderful friends, sitting at my table with the others talking as I read my usual book about plant magic. For some reason, I managed to blend out the fact that Sebastian dueled the twink, Prewett. Glad to hear he won! Ominis and his detective skills then started rambling about how people went missing at the hands of dark wizards or goblin loyalists

If I knew it would end this badly, I would've said nothing but in that moment I felt the need to impress Gaunt and stated that I would like to save those unfortunate souls. Sebastian looked at me with big eyes before chuckling and saying that my duelist skills are comparable to a baby duckling. Gwen also betrayed me and agreed with Sebastian that I would just be putting myself in unnecessary danger.

But everything changed when Ominis put his hand on my shoulder and defended me with the sentence I will never forget."I trust Kaelyn to defend herself somehow. She isn't a Ravenclaw without reasoning". Thank Merling the teacher quickly came by so I wasn't questioned about my steaming hot face. Ominis Gaunt. I will not disappoint you.

Fast forward until our classes were over, Sebastian along with Gwen insisted to tag along so I had a failsafe in case I was not able to defend myself against the grasp of the enemies. We were on our way to the forbidden forest, a good tip Ominis got from those around him. In all fairness, I was nervous at the time with only Ominis' words inspiring me to do great on this mission.

Sebastian and Gwen on the other hand were as relaxed as a puffskin getting brushed while chatting playfully with each other about the next day's Potion class. I swear I saw Sebastian glance at her hand more often than ever, probably contemplating to take it or leave it and I was honestly rooting for it. Gotta support my girl getting the man of her dreams, you know? We had a couple of enemies on our path and I managed to mess up the combination of using Accio along with Incendio. Gwen laughed and I simply shrugged off the embarrassment. Im with Ominis on that one when it comes to not liking DADA.

We eventually got to the lair which seemed to have been an abandoned Ruin site. Ominis would've loved the architecture along with its history. Maybe I will bring him here once I cleared out a path for us. Anyway, I sneaked via an invisibility spell and cast "Petrificus Totalus"(a full-body curse that immobilizes its victims) on each enemy I was capable of sneak attack. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of luck in regards to sneak attacks and often had to do hand-to-hand combat with dark wizards. ONE OF THEM EVEN MANAGED TO BURN MY HAIR. No matter how much I rolled and screamed to Sebastian or Gwen to help, the attacks still kept coming.

Eventually, I defeated all of them and freed the poor victims of their kidnappings. When I returned to Gwen and Sebastian, I saw them playing cards. You can simply imagine the look on my face when Gwenthen asked me if I was alright. Either way, we ended the night by simply getting a couple of butterbeer, and I'm glad to know I will leave spell combat to others.

I can't wait to tell Ominis that I succeeded in my mission. Do you believe he would be proud?

Dear Diary,

As the rise of the sun awoke most of my common room members, I was already awake and planning how to manage a full blown day with the Slytherin’s and most importantly..Gwen. She is my wonderful best friend, but she can be quite...excited when it comes to my interactions with Ominis Gaunt. As if she is planning something malicious to embarrass me with.

However, I let those feelings aside and ventured off to find my Group. Eventually we came together, and I saw Gwen already conversing with Sebastian as Ominis stood there patiently. I must admit, Ominis in his normal attire outside of the Hogwarts clothing suit him. We were soon on our way to Hogsmeade and I stayed in front with Ominis, talking about the various usage of the Spell “Expelliarmus”. He had his arguments, and I was baffled with his extensive Spell knowledge.

Soon after Ominis started questioning me on my personal affairs, like what were my hobbies and what I like to do in my free time. To each answer I gave, he had this adorable smile alongside giving me a compliment to which I often had to blush at. Ominis and I then stopped at the main square with the realisation that Sebastian and Gwen were no where to be found. With a little wait they caught up with Gwen being dragged by Sebastian and I glared the Hufflepuff trying to tell her telepathically (metaphorically, sadly don’t know the spell for that yet) that I knew what she was attempting to do. Sebastian started talking about how he wanted to find a gift for his sister and Gwen excitedly jumped onto the ideal of following him. Her crush on Sebastian was more obvious than Garreth trying to steal from Professor Sharp.

Either way I was left with Gaunt who wanted to visit the Beast shop with me. His excitement to meet various animals was yet another thing I found to cherish about him The time in the Beasts shop was dreamy, Ominis was exclaiming various facts and his liking towards different animals. Suddenly one of the creatures scared me and I accidentally jumped into Ominis' arms!!! I was embarrassed to the point that even Merlin from his grave would’ve laughed at me. Ominis didn’t really seem to mind at all and let out a wholehearted laugh before we then decided to go to the Three Broomsticks to meet up with the lovebirds.

Overall, I tried avoiding Gwen’s playful gaze as I attempted to calm down from the fiasco that just occurred before. As the hours passed, I saw Sebastian and Gwen being absolutely drunk out of their minds as they danced in front of the fireplace. What a sight it truly was haha. After that wonderful show of two drunks attempting to dance and with Ominis and I absolutely having a blast being sober to witness all, we were eventually on our way home. Gwen unfortunately threw up in a nearby bush to which I strongly told her to sleep the rush out for tonight.

Ominis and I brought our own Idiots back to their rooms and exchanged a brief goodnight before heading back to our own rooms. I loved today and how much more I have gotten to know Ominis.

Goodnight Diary. I can’t wait to see what is in store for me tomorrow.

Potion class gone wrong (Garreth Weasley almost destroyed the classroom)

Dear Diary,

Today was one of those odd days. First, the day started out with my favorite subject, Herbology. I was having a wonderful time planting Dittany when I saw Natty attempt to explain to Garreth something along the lines of "Aconite shouldn't be in that potion." Of course, I paid no attention to it since I would rather learn about plants.

Oh boy, should I have listened. Later on in the day, when I met up with Ominis, Sebastian, and Gwen, I heard that Garreth wanted to see if he could put aconite, which, according to Gwen (Who loves the potion class), is commonly used in the "Babbling Beverage" potion, into a "Thunderbrew" potion in hopes that the thunderbolts would be poisonous. In all logical fairness, it sounded insane. Ominis then suggested that I insist on partnering up with him so I would not end up in Garreth's chaos. For once, I agreed to team up with the Slytherin in hopes of escaping the future chaos. It would also be amazing for Gwen and Sebastian, who seem to be attracted to each other (I can literally see the stars in her eyes whenever she talks about him).

Fast forward to potion class. I was officially teamed up with Ominis Gaunt to ensure he doesn't blow up his own cauldron. The Slytherin was flustered to be called out by Professor Sharp, and I swear I almost heard Gwen giggle in the back. That's besides the point now. We were officially making our Thunderbrew potions, and from behind me, I heard Garreth yell "MY POTION IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE". My reflexes quickly took Ominis close to me, and I used the spell protego as the explosion happened.

The aftermath was atrocious, half the classroom was covered in black dust, and some cauldrons were charged by the thunderbolts coming out of the explosion. Professor Sharp was furious at Garreth, and as his punishment, he was forced to repair and clean the classroom. The twist was that he was forced to clean up the mess with a standard broom without a spell.

Ominis and I were doing well without any harm. However, it was funny to see Gwen immediately run up to us and panic in worry. Sebatian soon followed, and eventually we were able to calm down our best friends.

Good things happened out of this: we were let go early, Garreth got punished in a funny manner, Ominis noticed my abilities, Gwen had a fun time with Sebastian, and I finally learned that Garreth Weasley was not to be trusted with potion ingredients.

Tomorrow will be exciting. Gwen, the Slytherin boys, and I will be going to Hogsmeade. Goodnight!
