Riana and Zach’s wedding day was absolutely sweet. The two had a traditional church ceremony at the St. Albert The Great Parish in Mackenzie Town, before following up with the reception at the Metropolitan Centre downtown. The best part about their wedding, to me, was the personal touches they added to their day. From having a hockey jersey as a guestbook to naming their tables based on various hockey teams, it was clear that this couple were die-hard hockey fans. I was so lucky to be able to work on this wedding with the extremely talented Sarah Beau Photography. Here are some of my snippets from the day.

This wedding was one of the most high energy, fun-filled weddings I’ve ever got the change to work on. Pamela and Kofi were all smiles the entire day of the wedding. With families with strong african roots, this wedding was a party in itself, I had a blast and am so lucky I got to take part in such a great time celebrating two people who are perfect for each other.

On July 26, I was fortunate enough to second shoot with the amazing team at We Image for Thanh & Clarence’s wedding.My day started off with shooting pictures of the bride and her adorable bridesmaids getting ready at the Westin in downtown Calgary, (which is a gorgeous hotel!) The pictures speak for themselves, Thanh was an absolutely stunning bride.

The ceremony was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre and then we took off to Stephen Avenue for some group photos. The reception, which was authentic, hilarious and full of energy, was held at the Regency Palace Restaurant in China Town. Here’s a snippet of some of my images from the wonderful day!
