It was strange--unnatural feeling--to be somewhere semi-permanent, like this. Not on the move, not fighting a new battle almost daily....sleeping in the same bed, a real bed, every night. Bull was not used to it.

But then he actually noticed how the Chargers had taken to having a home, how happy they looked to convene at their corner of the tavern each night. How they were making friends with other Inquisition soldiers and civilians, and how it made them train harder, fight better. He saw Krem flirting with one of the barmaids, and Bull reconsidered preferring nomadic life.

And then, there was the Inquisitor. Bull had absolutely not expected to wind up entangled with the man, but the moment he'd realized that despite his apparent shy, reserved nature, Frank was actually, overtly flirting back with him....well, the Qunari had been doomed.

The quiet ones always were the most wild in bed, and Frank was no exception.

War councils were not inherently boring, but the Inquisition wasn't a normal military operation. There was so much politics to it all, and Bull was not all that much more interested in the alliance mailings Josephine had, or Cullen and Cassandra bickering about Templars' versus mages' support, than Frank appeared to be.

He was, however, highly entertained by how easily he could wake his lover right the fuck back up with one purred sentence.

Bull grinned smugly as he fell back in his chair, not that Frank was actually strong enough to push him without resorting to magic. The others hardly noticed besides Dorian, who cut them a knowing glance and a smirk, and Cole, who was ghosting by the windows and now looked perplexed before letting it go.

"But it gives you something to look forward to," he whispered back at Frank. "Motivation to wrap this pow wow up, boss."
