The Navy poisons the water over and over. They lie and say it’s safe. People fall ill. Then they dump the waste into the ocean and promise to do better. They lie.

End the romanization of Hawai’i. There is no paradise under American occupation.

Shirley is the perfect example of why we need lgbtq+ education in schools. Shirley wasn't hateful, she was fearful because she was taught to be. When she was confronted with the truth she took that on board and changed her views. There are far too many people in this world teaching our children that queer=bad. They need to hear the other side.
