I understand it's private and their personal lives and looked like just their two oldest friends so I'm not going to pry but there is the bit of me that's kinda sad that Damien wasn't at Shayne's wedding.
Everyone get ready, it's that time of year when I don't shut up about a certain newsie turned big time actor and he becomes my entire personality again
Full version of Christian Borle singing Chip on my Shoulder in 2024 (where he also tells SO many stories and sings the Ebay commerical song) for those who need it (ME)
Willie saying "No, I did it for me" after Simon asked if he adbidcated for him is just such a necessary moment and perfect story telling. Like yes this is a love story but its also a coming of age story where Wilhelm finally realised what it is he truly needs and what makes him happy before stepping away from effectively the one thing that defined him and he knew his entire life. And he did it all so that HE can be happy and proud of himself.
Honestly, I know one is a character and one is a real person but Edvin's transformation and growth over these past three years might actually be even crazier and awe-inspiring than Wilhelms
Can we talk about the fact that the entirety of young royals is only 18 episodes and somehow it has some of the most heart-wrenching moments, incredible acting, unreal character arcs, and releationship development I've ever seen in a show? Not to mention it's funny, has original music and there are so many implications that can be drawn to the real world!
It's crazy cause I honestly can't remember a show that made me this emotionally attached to the actors after only having three seasons, not even 20 episodes, and being in a language I fully do not speak
It's so crazy how every single character got exactly what they wanted at the start of season 1! It just might have not been in the way they imagined or ended up being not what they truly needed (looking at you August)
Wilhelm just wanted to be loved and enough for someone
Simon just wanted to make a difference and be heard
The wilmon montage followed by the I love yous followed by Wilhelm looking straight into the camera with what seems to be true happiness for the first time in his life... tears, literal tears
Sorry can we rewind to the point when everyone was talking shit about how they had assumed Omar spoiled the series ending in that interview?! He was better at hiding what happens than people gave him cedit for and deserves an apology!
