“The novel as a form is usually seen to be moral if its readers consider freedom, individuality, democracy, privacy, social connection, tolerance and hope to be morally good, but it is not considered moral if the highest values of a society are adherence to rules and traditional mores, the maintenance of hierarchical relationships, and absolute ideas of right and wrong. Any society based on the latter will find novels inherently immoral and subversive.”

Also this propaganda that anyone who is pro-Palestine is automatically an Antisemite (such as with Emma Watsön or Bella Hadid) is such bullshit (excuse me for cussing but it’s true) that you Israeli Jews are victimizing yourself by propelling your PAST oppression to justify your CURRENT atrocities and honestly speaking,it’s utterly disgusting!!!
Every Palestinian I know is exhausted, we are all exhausted. Everyday I’ve had to wake up sick and traumatized and hopeless at the sight my people being beaten and brutalized and killed.
We are up against a US backed nuclear-armed state that has been killing and oppressing us for decades with billions of dollars in support. White Americans and white brits? It is your job to advocate against this seeing how your governments are both what created and funds our ethnic cleansing.  You cannot be neutral on Palestine, you cannot be silent with Palestine while your elected government officials support our murder, you cannot refuse to acknowledge us while we are shot at and ethnically cleansed from our homes.
Stop electing politicians who support Israel, stop letting Palestine slip from your mind. This is NOT a conflict, it is a genocide.

So I’m currently reading “The Great Mughals and Their India” by Dirk Collier and as a person who has never dabbled into history before, it is very much engaging !!
The funniest thing I came across while perusing this book was that when Babur triumphed in the battle of Panipat and came to have much of the subcontinent under his control (a new feat for a Timurid prince and quite impressive one for that), many people of his clan as well as army were very bitter about living there and wanted to leave because the weather was not pleasant!!! Like the weather was not pleasant!! And it’s soo funny because I’m a native of south east Asia and I still abhor the weather lmao 😂

rules: tag 🏷 those you wanna know more about or anyone you want to catch up with
Firstly, I was very kindly tagged by the lovely @brightstudyblr so thanks a bunch for that (here, here’s a chocolate for you for that🍫)
I love this fun little game because it’s the second time I’m getting it and I love it a lot
Ok so without further ado:
Favorite color: I am a sucker for darker shades of pretty much every color and also neutral tones though occasionally a bright (dark) red, yellow or blue
Last Movie: The Shawshank Redemption (i don’t really watch movies, I prefer dramas as they are longer)
Last Song: I don’t listen to music at all so…
Currently reading: House of Mirth by Edith Wharton (spoiler alert: there’s no mirth and the heroine is homeless in the sense that she is pretty much impoverished though of elite class)
Sweet, savory or spicy: Savory followed by spicy and then sweet (I’m telling the order of my meal course 😂 lol)
Currently working on: Midterm exams the whole of January (welp!!! I always have exams)
I’m tagging @astudyingdemon @hizerain @mymessystudyblr @acadernia @iwillbeafuckinlawyer and @studeeon
Much love and have a good week 🌊

It’s healthy and lovely hugging your parents, sitting with them, giving them little kisses as you enter or leave the house, praying for them, in their old age taking care of them as they took care of you, being nice to them, apologizing for your behavior if you mistreat them or say bad words to them, if they advise you or tell you something about life, try to understand and incorporate into your life what they say, be respectful to them, my teacher often says “it doesn’t make a difference whether you love someone or not unless you express it as much” so express your love for your parents as much as you can and let’s be kind to them!! Although there are a few exceptions, but normally the love of a child and his/her parents is the most real and strongest of all so cherish, and love your parents 💌
If you have read this, today’s activity: give a tight hug to your mother and father, sit and talk with them, (and if you’re away, make a video call and tell them how much you love them and are grateful to them) , incorporate one thing in your day they advised you to do, make a prayer for them and their health🌱
Bro let's normalize liking our parents. There's so many kids out there who genuinely don't know you're supposed to enjoy hanging out with your parents, cherish the time you spend with them and feel a little less empty when they're around. So many kids don't even know they're in an emotionally manipulative/draining relationship with their parents because the media portrays both parties lying/sneaking around and getting into huge daily fights as a normal thing that healthy families do??? I remember being terrified of becoming a teenager because all media showed teens screaming and crying about their parents and the parents showing zero affection towards the kids.
Everyone should know that parents are supposed to say I love you. They're supposed to help you and try to understand you. They're supposed to make you feel better. And you should demand that because you deserve it.
