I haven't logged in this account for a long time. I've been busy with other things. Also, I didn't reply to any of my pen pals and I'm afraid of messaging them again. I will try to contact one of them though. He was a great pen pal. I hope he forgives my absence. And thus I return to this blog.

I'm looking for people to be pen pals with. Instead of introducing ourselves by words, I want to do it by drawings. It doesn't need to be perfect drawings at all. It doesn't need to be all drawings as well, to be honest. Talk about yourself in the third party or describe yourself if you were a cat or a dog or another gender. Be creative! At the end of each of our messages, there'll be a challenge for each of us. For example, draw yourself with an eyepatch eating your favorite food on top of a building. Something random and crazy. Or even just, go for a walk and draw the most interesting person you saw. I'm from the Philippines and would love to write to new people. Oh, fandom drawings are great too! It’ll still be quite some time before my children’s book is published and I can share more images from it with you — however, here are two illustrations I recently made that are NOT in the book, but feature my characters from Adventures with Barefoot Critters. (Plus a blue jay who does not appear in the book!) Nasya Kopteva (@nasyakopteva) made her first mail artwork at the age of five. “My grandmother let me paint old Soviet envelopes. In those opened envelopes, I saw small houses and added doors, windows, fences and whole rooms inside. When I remember those post cities, I feel happiness. What wonderful things an open-minded child can create!”

Nasya still makes mail art today but sends the letters to just one recipient, her friend Sasha. “We exchange painted post stories and try to surprise and delight each other.” Nasya and Sasha share some of their most beautiful creations on their blog (www.fishmailart.com) and on Instagram. “I am a completely visual person. For me, Instagram is the most convenient way to freeze moments and share visual information–energy, feelings and beauty—with others who are in search of it.”

"Frederator loves you!" wrote David Karp in the very first Channel Frederator episode in November 2005, and we’ve been saying it ever since. So, I thought it would be a nice theme for a new postcards series that will be alternating with our premieres.

As to the card itself, while Pen Ward was never our most prolific blogger he used his original Adventure Time blog a lot like he started using twitter way back when. He’s always been a heavy web comic writer, so he gave a taste of what was to come with Finn and Jake in May of 2007, when AT was accepted into (and eventually won) the first Platform Animation Festival.

Let me say this. My dad came in from getting the mail. Suddenly I hear him cry, “this is disgusting!" I snatch it out of his hand and feel my soul quiver at the sheer beauty of this piece of postal gold.

ANAL FIST ME, it says. ANAL FIST ME, I say back.

I told them not to read my goddamn mail. Now they know why.
