I have an image of you forgetting how to run in my mind now, and while I would never ever wish that upon you, it is very funny.

Pedro, I think to be a football manager you need to know what the sport is all about. I'll stick to my moral support from the sidelines, I might even get a banner. I'll see what I can do about girls into coming to matches, I'll tell Bea that I will learn the theme to whatever show she's been nagging me about. Hero will come if I ask nicely and assure her that Claudio - I mean, the whole team will be playing a great game.

And muffins! Well know I know where I need to be each game day. Surely you get some as well for actually playing? If not, I will make sure to save you one next game.

Maybe, Balthy, but I’d prefer it this way to being lax. You make a good point, I’m just relieved to have a team around me, how you manage by yourself is a feat on its own. I’ll reassure you every time if I have to, you won’t forget, you are far too talented and naturally gifted. It would be like if I forgot how to run. 

You would make an excellent football manager, you know that? It’s a win-win situation having the girls around the pitch. So long as Claudio can maintain focus, and Ben can just be.. normal. As normal as Ben can be, and not make a fool of himself trying to prove Bea wrong. And according to Ursula, you’d be given muffins for being on the side line.

Maybe protesting would have been a good idea, but they were so innocent and excited about the whole thing. Which is kind of strange, I mean it was just for the newspaper or something? 

Well if they're going to be hanging around Ursula more often, we should probably make an effort to find out who they are. After all, they've started to steal our food.

Almost, but not quite, I was a bit aggressively against being interviewed. Hell if I know their names though, I just know they’re strange.

Hero probably knows.

I understand, I just feel that sometimes, you put yourself under too much pressure. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, it can make your strive to do better, but with the whole team resting on your shoulders I think you deserve all the praise you get. Besides, when I'm on stage its just me, sure there's usually a lot more people in the audience, focussing on me as an individual, but no-one is depending on my success except myself. My fears are definitely there to keep me in check, but you already know what my biggest fear is and assure me every time I go to play that I "will not forget how to play the instrument you've been playing for over 6 years". With that much support, and with you coming to as many performances as possible, and helping me upload videos, the least I can do is try and make sure you see what worked well in you games too. 

However learning from faults is very important and I have to agree with you there, just make sure you learn from what you did well also, Ped. That's part of my job as a friend anyway. 

Having Hero coming to games will mean having Beatrice, and while the fighting may be annoying, Ben's desire to prove to Beatrice that he is indeed "the most talented, handsome, and intelligent of Messina’s athletes" could mean a better game from him anyway. Having Claudio and Ben at the top of their game would mean a better outcome for the whole team. It would also give me some people to hang out with every game instead of looking like a fish out of water. 

I agree with you completely. I believe they’re two sides of the same coin. Or even the same side of the same coin. I’m glad we have the same observations, I wasn’t sure whether I had gone mad with all the complaining I’ve heard. Almost. It would almost be a social experiment with the potential to have devastating results. 

Well, okay, as a musician, aren’t the things you take away most from a performance the mistakes you have made? Whilst I just listen to your music in awe, and I can’t find fault. I rather like to think of it as the necessities for improvement. I know you do try, but even you being here on the sideline is far more support than I could expect of a friend.

It was at the cost of Robbie, which is never pleasant. But honestly, it looks like Claud is the superior keeper in the nets. His saves are cleaner and he gives more precise instructions in defensive corners. But that is Ben, finding his new best friend, I suppose. I suppose they are, though, I haven’t had a chance to ask Claud about it yet. It’s something I plan to do, because maybe he was playing out of his skin today because we had a particular spectator. If that’s the case, I’ll have to talk to Hero and persuade her to attend all our games.

Benedick and Beatrice would be oddly lost without each other. Without the other, they'd have nothing much to talk about. They spend half their time listing each other's faults and the other half trying to one-up each other. It would almost be amusing if it didn't affect the rest of the group's dynamic. Almost. 

It may be flattering but that doesn't mean its not true. You need to be less hard on yourself , Ped. You're focussing on all the negatives, if I could name all your accomplishments in the past hour I would, but I lack the sporting knowledge and vocabulary no matter how hard you try to educate me. However I can say this, whatever you were doing looked very impressive from the side of the pitch. 

I agree with you on the topic of Claud though, he really is a good addition to the team. Even if it means we have to see Ben attacking him every five minutes. Claudio and Hero seem to be cozying up to one another don't they? 

I have tried and failed. But if letting his ego run a little keeps him from complaining, then I would prefer it. You know how he gets when he complains. Like, oh I don’t know, his fixation with Beatrice? 

You flatter me, but your feedback is just as important to me as Leo’s. 

I made my fair share of defensive mistakes, and a few of my crosses didn’t get to the striker in the box. I was expecting Leo to bench me by half time. If Claudio hadn’t had a great set of saves today, we would’ve been 5-0 down within the first 20 minutes. Putting him on the team was the right choice.

Well the team played amazingly as usual. The teamwork was great, but you might want to tell Ben that there is a team. Not just him you know? 

I know you want feedback on yourself personally and so I'm going to say what I say after almost every match: You were brilliant, Peddie, absolutely brilliant. 

Also, those last goals were fantastic, you won the game, Captain. 

I believe they are ‘Dogberry’ and ‘Verges’. Only because I tend to see them running about the school, almost as if they’re looking for something.. Balthy, your manners are too good.

Anything is better than listening to Ben and Bea fight period. I don't think they even have solid reasons for hating each other.

I don't know Hero, you know Bea better than anyone, is there anything we can do to get them to calm down for just one night? 

Pedro I can understand, but does Benedick really seem like a reliable source? I would say that the newspaper is definitely the least biased source for news around school. Especially when pitted up against Bea and Ben. 

Sticking to your instruments sounds like a good idea. We need you to up our entire group talent factor. I believe so? Of course you’re in charge of it, Balthazar. And really, I think we would much rather listen to nothing than Bea and Ben fight over music genres.

Well I get all my news from Pedro and Ben, and the way they talk I guess I don't have much use for a newspaper. Beatrice features very heavily in the "school wide news" by the time I get the story, maybe I should find a less bias point of view.

Well I wont be trying out for the soccer team any time soon. I think I'd best be suited playing my instruments. Speaking of, do we need someone to coordinate music for the celebration? I'm not letting Bea and Ben fight over the music choices like they did last time. 

Gosh, Balthazar — people would think that you didn’t even attend Messina until about five minutes ago! It’s not bad, though I do mostly just read whatever Ursula, Dogberry and Verges decide to contribute.

Yeah, soccer isn’t really my thing either. Claud’s offered to show the ropes, too. I just don’t think I’m coordinated in the sporting department.

Our school has a newspaper? Im certainly out of the loop. However I did manage to catch some of the game when I wasn't being interrogated, I think we did pretty well!
