Does anyone else do window shenanigans with Notch or is it just Zander? Speaking of he's doing said shenanigans again. Peeking at corners and below the window frame then darting away the moment Notch turns around. He does have some fruit for him when he inevitably catches Zander.

It's just Zander who plays this game with Notch. And he's okay with that! It's The Zander Game!

And now he's using Phantom Force after catching a glimpse of Zander outside the window. Hugs and nuzzles incoming, Zander!

Tiny lore!

When Ceru's friends come over for a visit she rushes to the door! Calling out excitedly and trying to open the door by wedging her blade in to pry it open. Zander often has to tell her to back up or usher her away and stand between the little knight and the doorway less she run out to say hello.

When she does get out, she'll run around in circles and will only stop if picked up or given scritches by the guests.

Its gotten to the point that Zander has a sign up on the door warning of the friendly little knight.

Harper has to brace themselves every time they visit lol

-"Notch, buddy it's okay. You didn't lose my ball. I didn't throw it. I just pretend to do it, I thought you will realise it and we will have a good laugh out of it. I didn't mean to upset you."-white hair girl would show the ball in her hand as she tries to calm Notch down.-"How about I make your favourite Poké puffs as apology?"

Notch is a type of Pokémon that will make you feel bad for playing harmless prank on him. Well at lest he will get spoiled with hand made good, pets and chin scratches as a apology.

Well, now Notch just felt dumb. He blushed a bright blue from embarrassment. He whined and gave Willow a gentle affectionate headbutt. Was he apologizing for ruining her joke?

Notch suddenly took the ball and threw it, running after it and bringing it back to Willow. Looks like he still wanted to play!

You know Harper will probably need a sign up saying "beware of Ceruledge" or something. probably along the lines of "beware of the friendly Ceruledge or you will be hugged!". I can see someone ignoring it only to be greeted by a happy Notch beeping away at the door excitedly like a friendly dog. (yes Zander has something similar for Ceru!) skylertheminish

The sign will only apply to people Notch knows. He won't bother strangers and will actually try to avoid them.

That being said, if it is someone Notch knows and likes, bold of you to assume he'll wait at the door. He's going to Phantom Force right over to the visitor and hug them!

Willow proceeds to throw a ball for Notch and watch as a fire knight runs after it. Only ploblem is she didn't actually throw the ball, just pretended too.

She wonder how long it would take for Notch to realise the ball is still in her hand.

Notch quickly chased after the ball. Or, at least, he thought he was. He noticed that he was having trouble finding it. Utilizing his hunter skills, he looked everywhere for the ball. But he couldn't find it.

He lost the ball.

The knight let out a loud whine and fell to his knees, feeling guilty for losing Willow's toy. He hoped she wouldn't be too mad.

Study. Call Harper a nerd because they love reading and doing research. And they have a lot more to do now that they have Notch to take care of.

They're a big fan of stew. It's their go-to comfort food. But they also enjoy pizza or a nice curry.

With the clover, I guess I meant more what inspired you to make Harper a more fleshed-out character! I know early on you mentioned giving them a canon name like game protags, but I didn’t know if there was more behind it.

I wanted to flesh out Harper's character more since I plan on writing from their perspective in future Forged stories. Also so I had more of a character to work with in Tumblr asks.

(Remember when Harper used to be called Protag? I do.)

I like their panicky but exhausted attitude. They don't have the energy for people's shit but they deal with it anyway. It's very fun to write.

Between Asks and the actual Forged story, I write Harper all the time. Never drawn them, tho. Doubt I ever will lol

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Well...nothing, really. When writing in the second person, you basically have to write the reader as neutrally as possible. Blank slate characters, I call them. That's why Pokemon protagonists don't really talk. They want the player to project themselves onto the character as much as possible.

I'm still working on Harper's actual character, but I don't expect much to change from how the second-person protagonist acts in Forged.
