We are a night elf themed, lore-friendly, heavy roleplay collective. Our goal is to create a welcoming community for kaldorei roleplayers and their allies. We will strive to promote, generate, and encourage roleplay opportunities outside of the city hubs and inspire world roleplay. Talah’dorei is not a new organization or sect to the night elf culture. It is simply a chosen community name that captures the essence of the night elven story thus far. They have survived so much tragedy. They have endured.

We have a diverse group of people and accept EVERYONE for who they are. So keep sexuality, race, religion, politics, and other similar "High Impact" subjects out of public channels.

Out of Character drama needs to be kept to a bare minimum. Also, remember to keep IC and OOC separate. If you have a problem with a member, please contact the leader/moderator of your choosing, and hopefully, we can find a solution before it makes everyone uncomfortable.

Keep your roleplay etiquette in check. No God Modding. No Meta Gaming. No Trolling. We are a lore-friendly community. We understand there is grey area where headcanon can flourish and expand but please do not force your personal canon on others or expect them to accept it as their own.

We are a 21+ community. Due to the discussions here, members must be able to handle mature language and content. That said, there is no reason to push the mature rating to its limits. Use the spoilers feature for questionable art, this server is a no ERP zone, and keep excessively explicit conversations out of the public channels.

This is, first and foremost, a game. Don't go out of your way to make someone's game time miserable. We all pay to play. Let's have fun and enjoy it! In light of this, since this community is an extension of the game, we are not going to breed misery here. Therefore, any disparaging remarks about the game content, lore, questlines, storylines, or Blizzard choices needs to be kept out of public channels.

Grandstanding will not be tolerated. Broadcasting that you will quit, in the public channels of this discord, because Blizzard made a choice you disagree with will result in a ban. This also pertains broadcasted pity parties that hint or imply that you might as well quit because something is or isn't happening, etc. You will not be shown attention or sympathy. You will be shown the door. No one here pays extra for guilt trips.

Any image created by an AI generator must be explicitly labeled at an "AI Generated Image". Additionally, these images should not be posted in the art channels as it does not qualify as such. The Silver Circle will be embarking of the infamous Eye of Elune pilgrimage, which will stretch across the majority of Kalimdor as they seek the advice and wisdom of their deceased kin and ancestors in regards to Kaldrassil. As the Circle has been ordered by the sisterhood to seek out the word of Elune on the matter, that of which can only be potentially achieved after enduring the lengthy pilgrimage and all that it may entail.

The Silver Circle will return to the Dragon Isles. As rumored sightings of the semi elusive Shadow Guard have reached the Keeper through her contact of the Explorer's League. Said whispers claim that the Shadow Guard were seen in the company of Maruuk Centaur within the Ohn'ahran Plains. Elder Celassa has summoned volunteers within the Circle and those allied with them to investigate whether or not these rumors are based in fact. And to figure out why the Shadow Guard have dared to reveal themselves so openly.

About the Event

Illthanyn, also known as the Cleansing, is a celebration of the longest night of the year as well as a time to reflect on the events of the past year. A time to look ahead at the new year, and shed what burdens weigh us down so we may allow Elune’s light to flow into us.

Recognized as the longest night of the year, and the eve of cleansing when Elune’s healing touch reaches out to her children. Kaldorei all across Kalimdor don formal silver or white clothes and gather in their town or city’s place of worship to celebrate.

“Since the beginning of time, we have gathered in this season to celebrate the rebirth of Elune’s light within us. ” “Illthanyn is the end of the old year and the beginning of the new one. Traditionally, the end of the year is a time to look back and reflect. It is also a time to look ahead to the future, to make plans and set goals.”

Invitation Information

This is server event open to characters who respect the Kaldorei and Elunarian ceremony. All who attend are advised to bring a few [Elixir of Tongues], out of courtesy for any neutrally affiliated Horde characters that may attend. There will be a gift exchange portion to the event.

Elunarian Ritual: The Solstice Cleanse

A trinity of three chosen priestesses recite a prayer for the gathering to honor the coming winter. Then, participants are led through a traditional ritual of cleansing, to shed the burdens of the past year and make room to welcome and endure all that is ahead of them. Throughout these activities, themes of Elune’s aspects are interwoven, as Illthanyn signals the natural shift from the darkness of the Night Warrior to the new light of Mother Moon.

Ritual Attire 

All attendants are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Cleansing Ritual, and asked to come to the celebration in silver or white attire for the holy pilgrimage and ceremony.

Winter Feast, Dance and Gift Exchange

Following the ceremonies, a feast is held in Elune’s name, where fruit, bread, cookies, sweetened meat, mulled wine and warm drink are shared in Her honor. In this relaxed setting, musicians typically volunteer to play a few songs to provide revelers, friends and couples the opportunity to dance together.

Musicians Needed

The hosts of Illthanyn are actively seeking volunteer musicians to perform a song or two at the end of the Winter Feast, and to help inspire revelers to enjoy a seasonal dance, to stir their hearts and warm their bones. Secret Gift Exchange

It is customary for every reveler to bring a wrapped gift to the Illthanyn celebrations. Please bring a wrapped gift for this portion of the event. You may gift something of either sentimental value or actual value (weapons, pets, etc), but it must be able to be wrapped with wrapping paper. Stackable items cannot be wrapped. The rule is you must exchange gifts AT LEAST THREE TIMES and with THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE before you can open the third gift you receive!

Please bear in mind that you can only exchange (trade) wrapped gifts with members of your own faction and server.
