Dually Noted - or the adventures of N^2

So me and Jackie have been talking for a while about how our girls Nan and Nico would have a Youtube channel for their classical music shenanigans (with only them or inviting other ‘loids, especially Cho, to join them) and it’d be something à la Twosetviolin (please check them out they’re so fucking funny).

Most of the channel is classical music shitposting, with Nico putting in practice her idea of playing V.ivaldi’s Four Seasons in weather-appropriate clothes (and then regretting it), doing those “describe the piece/composer in 4 words”, and even discovering modern music besides meme pieces they play on the violin (first time they played S.hosty they were shaken).

Sometimes there’s fangirling over current violinists (esp H.ilary H.ahn because THAT’S A CUTE GIRL! PLAYING THE VIOLIN! HOLY SHIT!!!) and they both go full dumb wlw mode on the spot.

When they have special guests, to quote Ray Chen in this vid, they all feel like they’re interacting with a married couple. Because….that’s basically what Nico and Nan are. They’re basically married, just not officially.

The name of the channel is a pun because both their names start with N, and N^2 is how they sign their description.}

Nannerl had set up Vienna’s famous New Year’s Eve concert stream onto her computer. The two had set up camp on the attic’s floor to watch and talk. She grabbed the open bottle of champagne and took a sip, “I mean after half a bottle I can't tell whether this is cheap or expensive. So that is an obvious plus”

She placed the bottle on the ground and put her head on Nico’s lap, “Liebling, do you have any resolutions this new year?”
