He snorted a little at his friend’s whining reaction and let him pull out of the hold.  “Touchy as ever, huh?”  He gave him a little push and tucked his hands in his pockets as he stared at him.  “What do you want me to say then, huh?  I mean like if I don’t say no homo then, well.  That’s a little gay, man.”  He leaned in to whisper the last part to Silver like it was some kind of secret.

“So I mean unless there’s something you’re not telling me, man, then I’m just gonna keep it up.”  He gave a little shrug and kicked at the dirt, half waiting for the other boy to say something about it.

Silver swallowed. The grin and wink certainly weren’t helping matters, and now he wasn’t even entirely sure what the other one was going on about. Before he had a chance to ask, Silver felt an arm loop around his shoulders, giving him a gentle squeeze as his friend continued to talk. 

“Hibiki!” he whined, trying to scoot down and out of the hold.  It took only a moment to realize that wasn’t working, so he simply lifted his own arm up to nudge the other boy away instead. 

“Stop saying ‘no homo’” he continued, trying to recompose himself. “We aren’t children, and that doesn’t even make sense. I have no idea what you are going on about…” Which wasn’t ENTIRELY true, but…still.
