OMG I FINALLY DID IT

I finally got to drawing my own designs for the characters. Not because I hate their og designs but cause I was like Why don’t they look more Victorian :( so this is what came out of that. I will draw their parents but that’ll take a while.

Little notes that I couldn’t put in the image:

That’s not what Maddie’s hair naturally looks like. That is 100% dyed, their hair is black.

I also made it a point to make it so that not all of them are walking in full Victorian get up. Wonderland’s default is Victorian fashion so Leveret and Alistair obviously are purely Victorian since they got stuck in Wonderland. Lizzie however is noted to be proud of her Wonderland heritage and I thought that someone like her wouldn’t really adapt to Ever After fashion and would just stay in Victorian clothing. The only time she would be in modern is if she does a collection matching with friends(like in Spring Unsprung). Maddie is like a mix of Victorian and modern while Bosley is more modern with his coat being KINDA Victorian(tho it’s more inspired than actual).

Bosley does have a matching necklace but his dad still hasn’t given it to him. It’s like a locket in the shape of a door to put a picture of Alistair and Kitty.

I did change some names. I gave Alistair a different last name cause it’s stupid as fuck they gave him Wonderland as his last name like fuck off man. I gave Bunny Leveret as a name since it’s French to mean young rabbit/hare and Kitty’s to Bosley as it’s a town in Cheshire.

I think that’s about all I got, goodbye

A little idea I’ve had.

Fun fact: I DESPISE Ever After High Cheshire’s design. To me, it is the worse design in that series. It literally just doesn’t make for any Cheshire at all. Like why is it so modern when all the other Wonderlandian adults have Victorian style clothing. Why is he so skinny. WHY DOES HE HAVE JAGUAR PRINTS WHEN HES A DOMESTIC CAT. It just feels like they added the ears and went Yep this is our Cheshire and putting no other effort into the rest of it. I’ve been wanting to badly redesign this guy and so I did. I do personally hc every Cheshire to be transmasc which is why he’s in more masculine clothing. But yeah there’s no reason I made his hair lose i just thought it would look nicer. But the thing that I changed was giving him actual Victorian clothes.

I’ve seen one picture of a jacket with furs that some men would use and I’ve used that for multiple Cheshires so to keep within the furs in the og, I just used that jacket as an easy fix and made it so that it’s constantly at his elbows. Overall I wanted elegant but messy as he is an outside cat and might not care to look “properly” decent just as long as he looks good. I change the stupid jaguar print to stripes to reference him being a tabby cat in the og Tenniel illustrations. I wanna change his jewelry cause I’m not too fond of how they look so when I make a full body drawing of him, he’s probably gonna have different jewelry. Things that you can’t see that I intend to have is his long ass nails and heels. My design philosophy with the cats is to portray their one life goal: To serve cunt.

But yeah hopefully y’all like it. I feel even if Cheshire was kept a woman like in the series, you can still give her the suit. Idk like I get it’s a doll show but not all the girls have to be super feminine and wear feminine clothing.
