Me, personally, I go to Leah's tag to see posts/updates about her. I do not go into her tag to see posts that have nothing to do with her. Your random post about how Rick should've/could've made some other pairing happen doesn't belong in her tag. Your rant about a character she doesn't play doesn't belong in her tag. This isn't difficult.

Of course! Please tag me in it if you write it. I'd love to see it fleshed out.
I don't know exactly where I'm going with this thought, but Annabeth is Batman and Percy is Superman.

Would love to see this, tbh. Not just bc her natural curl is gorgeous, but bc of the message it sends, too. Then they can just do some hand waving to get her hair back into a protective style later on for the remainder of the quest. If there wasn't so much water involved I'd love to see her hair natural the whole time, but that's impractical.
I hope they keep leah's natural hair when having a annabeth makeover cause she had her hair braided the whole season and imagine percy looking at her natural hair for the first time with aww in his eyes ugh I'm so excited ( also leah looks like an actual goddess with her natural hair)

Ok, I've seen a few people question how Annabeth will deal with the betrayal since the show made some changes to the reveal. I think the ripple effects could actually be pretty cool with regards to how she acts going forward. Maybe now instead of a desperate hope to rehabilitate or save Luke, show us an Annabeth who's angry and a little ruthless in some ways. Essentially she's a kid whose foundation was upended AGAIN so I could definitely see, and would be interested in seeing, her acting out. How they could fit that into the framework of SoM idk, but I think it could offer more depth to her character and be interesting to watch at the very least.

Honestly they should renew for season 3, too, and just film both together a la LotR. That way they're roughly the correct ages and there's not a long wait in between seasons.

So was Annabeth eavesdropping in the forest because she was already suspicious of Luke? Why else would she be there? Also, I was oddly proud of her throwing that dagger. My deadly child.

I like that I can just enjoy the Percy Jackson show because I'm not overly invested in it. I like the books, I like the show so I win either way.
Also, I won't lie, I'm largely here to support my little chicken nugget Leah.

Ok, I'm usually a book purist, but I think the adaptations they're making in Percy Jackson are actually really good. Especially in terms of Percabeth. I think the way that friendship is being established really early on - the way it was built up so far - is better than how it was in the books. These are friends I absolutely believe could have a romantic relationship later on. And I have to give so much credit to Leah Sava Jeffries and Walker Scobell for their acting. They've made the connection between the two characters really believable. It'll be interesting how things play out later if they do more seasons because that relationship is already, like, intense. Plus, iirc some world building things have been changed so I'm REALLY curious about the ripple effects throughout the series. I hope they get to do the first five books, but I understand that that's a big commitment.
I look forward to seeing Leah, especially, grow as an actress. I think she has so much potential. Her expressions are always so good and, imo, she shows a lot in her eyes. I think my only real criticism, if you want to call it that, would be her line delivery in some scenes, but I give a lot of grace because she was probably 11 or 12 when filming this show and child actors deserve to be given room to grow. Otherwise I'm completely sold on her as Annabeth. I know some folks (racists) tried to write her off as a diversity hire, but watching her embody this character proves that she is the right choice. I know that won't shut up the people determined not to like her bc "Annabeth is whiiiiite", but those people can kick rocks.
I'm glad this series got a second chance at this. Hopefully this show captures a whole new generation. I'm happy for the fans who read the first book nearly twenty years ago and in the years since. I'm happy for everyone involved and I hope this is a great springboard for the actors.

Al Jazeera posted a long-form article about the Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza. It talks about who they were, their hopes and their dreams.

I don't understand how anyone can look at what's being done to the Palestinian people and think "yes, this is all fine. Deserved." I just think that's monstrous. There's never a good or justifiable reason for killing innocent people.
