Whats your favorite thing to draw? I like draeing tools personally- what about you? :3
I was going to just say "bugs" but then I also like drawing robots, and I couldn't choose, but then I realized what I like to draw (or edit in) even more than either of those specifically, is backgrounds.
In particular, abstract backgrounds and effects. Like all the swirly shapes, text, halos, outlines, doodles, crt lines, static noise, and so on.
This isn't 100% reflective of the character- but it's not too far off. The original has been a pretty big inspiration when it came to this character, but no one specific detail in it has it been used, it was more of a vibe thing (except her name).
All the editing was a pain in the ass and I kinda regret doing it, but at least it's done now, you can thank me having to juggle several apps and sites and then some of those sites not exporting in normal formats (or consistently exporting broken files that no other site wants to read)
Did a little bit of a challenge for myself, trying to design a robot oc with a figure I haven't really drawn before, and I thinkkkkkk it went pretty well :)
Still not entirely sure about the design, I'll probably change some things around in future drawings of the character. Lore definitely isn't done either, so don't pay too much attention to the text.
Also, you don't know how hard I tried to fit a second pair of arms and a set of wings here 馃槶 (very hard)
2023 thing I decided not to post but then changed my mind on.
So this is a little fanart thing I did for this person a few months ago. They posted a bunch of photos, and I really liked this one in particular, so I drew it.
Another one I'm pretty happy with! I don't know why I decided to make it monochrome, it doesn't look any better, and ended up requiring the same amount of effort as it would have if it was in color.
Also I'm liking where my style is going here, it's fairly subtle changes now so I think I'm settling into something I'm happy with ,since it's not going through major changes anymore.
please rb if you like it, I'm really proud of how it turned out 馃槶
I maybe had a little too much fun with this, so I had no choice but to fully shade it and all that. I also couldn't find a good reference, so I just did it without, somehow. This is absolutely the last pose I'd expect myself to do without help, so I'm quite happy about that.
As always, this took longer than planned, but I'm satisfied with the results for once. Maybe I'll shade it at some point.
Also, I kinda figured out what kind of hands I want artyle-wise in thise one? it came to me so easily, and naturally, it was kinda weird, but this might be how I do it from now on.
