GerIta- Definitely my OTP for both of these characters. They're so wonderful together <3

Holytalia- People often lump holytalia and gerita together (I understand why), but considering my headcanons for HRE, I feel like they have a pretty unique dynamic compared to GerIta. There's more I'd like to say, but I got another anon asking about Holytalia so I'll try to spill my thoughts there <3

TurkIta- Goddd I love TurkIta so much. Especially in a historical setting/context. Sadly, in my regular nationverse interpretation, they usually break up. But they were quite the power couple back in the day, and definitely a favorite topic of European court gossip. They eventually started fighting and butting heads, resulting in quite a messy (and loud) break up.

Venetican- They're not a fave ship as in "they would be so cute together <3", but more as in "I wanna dump mentos in a bottle of diet coke so I can watch it explode". In most scenarios Venetican is messy and unhealthy, but god do I love it.

PruIta- I'm a sucker for pruita. Romantic, platonic, I don't care. I need them to have a close, supportive, and trusting relationship. Also, ngl, the way Gilbert talks about/fawns over Veneziano in canon is soo stupidly cute, I love it. He tries so hard to get a CRUMB of Feli's attention, and fails every time (rest in piss)

There are other ships I enjoy seeing, but those are the ones that live in my head rent-free <3

So, what's the story?

Razzle Dazzle: A Historical Hetalia Anthology is a free digital PG-13 fan anthology for the series Hetalia World Stars themed around the 20th century. For our third run, we want to bring the spotlight on the writers and comic artists in the fandom, and give them a chance to shine!

Coucou y'all, I'll just come on here and be a bit frank/honest with you guys.

I know I say this all the time: "I would like to be more active with posting art." But on top of my uni workload increasing (something I've brought up often), I'm also struggling a lot with my art right now. I've been navigating a very intense "art dread" for over 2-3 years, and just when I think I've overcome it, it rears its ugly head.

I'm taking my time to practice and maybe experiment a little bit- to see what I like, what I want to change, etc. I don't think my art will change DRASTICALLY in upcoming posts, but if there are any shifts, that's why. So please be kind 🫶

I know I don't have to explain myself to y'all, and it's normal for people's art to change over time, or to have dips in productivity/morale, but I just wanted to get this off my chest 😅 Maybe I'm just being dramatic.

Anyways, I AM working on responses for the ask blog (thanks for the support, btw!). I'll also answer some poor asks here that have been collecting dust (as soon I can)
