I think in these days this is something people need to hear. There is so much anger towards each other. We need to remember these words. Hate has never solved anything.

Regret. That word has been floating in my head recently. I’ve been reading past journals. Going through the choices I’ve made and I can’t help but make a list in my mind of everything I would do differently now.
Regret.
That word can consume you. Can make you live in the past and not look forward to the future. I want to look forward and let go of what’s done. Philippians 3:13 says “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.”
That’s what I want to do. Strain forward to what lies ahead.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old had passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Currently reading a book called The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn...
So far so interesting. Basically so far it’s about the parallel’s between ancient Israel and America and how America is making the same mistakes.. so we are seeing the same warnings that ancient Israel did before it’s destruction.
I knew our nation had many sins to repent of but to see all the warnings in one book was incredibly eye opening. Be in prayer. Ask for His mercy and grace. Ask for Him to enter your heart and let Him be apart of your life. Jesus is ready and willing to be right there. He won’t let you fall.
I highly recommend this book if you are a lover of truth.

I’ve been finding myself distracted from the things I want to do. What I want to do and what I do seem to be two different things. I would like to ask for prayer from my fellow believers for Jesus to help me through this time in my life. <3

Leave out the cross and you have killed the religion of Jesus. Atonement by the blood of Jesus is not an arm of Christian truth; It is the heart of it.

My faith rests not in what I am, or shall be, or feel, or know, but in what Christ is, in what he has done, and in what he is now doing for me.

You're more than your yesterdays. You can leave em all behind you now. You're never too far away. Oh, you gotta keep the faith. When everything falls apart, you're still in the arms of amazing grace.
Newsboys
This reminds me no matter what you’ve done. You can be forgiven if you only ask Him for it. Amazing grace. <3

This song reminds me that God always forgives as long as you go to Him and ask him & repent. No matter what you’ve done... He is there with open arm ready to forgive and love.
“You gotta keep the faith. When everything falls apart you're still in the arms of amazing grace.”
That line gets me. After everything that’s happened this past month, that’s what I hold in my heart.

Repent today, obedience only exists in the present; tomorrow is not promised.
Acts 3:19 Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased;
Ecclesiasticus 21:6-7 He that hateth to be reproved is in the way of sinners: but he that feareth the Lord will repent from his heart. (7) An eloquent man is known far and near; but a man of understanding knoweth when he slippeth.
Luke 21:34-36 But keep watch on yourselves, or your hearts will become dulled by carousing, drunkenness and the worries of everyday living, and that Day will be sprung upon you suddenly like a trap! (35) For it will close in on everyone, no matter where they live, throughout the whole world. (36) Stay alert, always praying that you will have the strength to escape all the things that will happen and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.
Jeremiah 26:13 Therefore now, improve your ways and your doings; and listen to the voice of Adonai your God; then Adonai will relent from the disaster he has decreed against you.
2 Peter 3:9-14 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient with you; for it is not his purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins. (10) However, the Day of the Lord will come “like a thief.” On that Day the heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up. (11) Since everything is going to be destroyed like this, what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives, (12) as you wait for the Day of God and work to hasten its coming. That Day will bring on the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt from the heat; (13) but we, following along with his promise, wait for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness will be at home. (14) Therefore, dear friends, as you look for these things, do everything you can to be found by him without spot or defect and at peace.
Ezekiel 18:21 However, if the wicked person repents of all the sins he committed, keeps my laws and does what is lawful and right; then he will certainly live, he will not die.

Why so quiet?
I wanted to address my long silence. I know I said I was going to post a book review soon (and its been a while!! :0) Well, my Dad got COVID a couple weeks back and it looked like he would be okay but two weeks later he wasn’t acting right. So we had to get him to the hospital and his blood sugar was sky high along with a whole other host of problems. It was incredibly scary but I am happy to say he is doing much better now. Thank Jesus. I cannot tell you how hard I prayed and prayed. He is still very tired but making improvements everyday. I will try to post my normal stuff soon but it will be sporadic. Thank you :)
Also my prayers to you all who are going through the same thing or worse. I pray healing and comfort for you all <3
Lots of Love
