So I've been debating on trying to actually post the stuff I roleplay/write about Ellie on here, but I've been meaning to try and gauge the best way to do so.

Either way both are time consuming but I wanted to know what method of storytelling everyone else prefers doing, what are the benefits of one over the other, etc. (Also I apologize for the lengthy poll time, I really wish they'd add other day options beyond just one day vs a week :sigh: )

7. What do they think of Garlean technology and their use of ceruleum? For Rowan… the classical blue elezen… 🥰

(Ahh, no, you're fine. I don't really mind taking questions for a while because sometimes I take months to answer them...orz)

Rowan is fairly open-minded about technology as long as it's not a weapon. She eventually comes to understand Stephanian's view on arming the masses of Ishgard, but for a long time she didn't quite figure out the point of a gun when a bow and arrow were technically just as lethal.

Garlean inventions though? A lot of what she's been introduced from Cid has gone over well. Heaters are nice, especially in Coerthas, and the electric kettle has proven useful on multiple occasions.

But a lot of the war machina? She wants that gone. If it were up to her, Garlemald would have to destroy much of that to get aid. 

As far as ceruleum goes... Rowan doesn't know enough about it to be comfortable giving an opinion on it.  Although she has had an Echo vision of a Roegadyn woman describing the aetherial density of it before...

6. What catalyzed their introduction to the plot?

Gil. Alfinne started having complications with her aether imbalance, and Rowan wasn't bringing home enough money to support the two of them by busking at the Druthers every night. So she started taking more dangerous quests for the Adventurer's Guild and eventually met up with Yda and Papalymo. The rest is history!
