NOW: Police are violently arresting pro-Palestinian activists who staged a sit-in at Berlin's Humboldt University, the same university Karl Marx attended. Activists said they would return and occupy and that this would continue until Palestine was free. They called all students from the Global South to Europe to unite.

BREAKING: Canada has become the first major Western ally of Israel to halt weapons exports to Israel.

Canada's parliament passed a non-binding motion calling on the government to stop sending weapons to Israel and the Foreign Minister has since confirmed that they will end its weapons shipments.

While the move falls short of a full arms embargo, it has drawn strong criticism from Israeli officials who are afraid it could trigger a domino effect among other Western countries.

i like to pick up feathers while out on a walk, and today i decided to trim and paint this dove feather i'd found and cleaned a while ago.

it's not quite proportionally accurate and the feather didn't take the watercolor paint as easily as i was hoping, but i'm happy with it as a first attempt!

i don't have another pure white feather in my collection right now but as soon as i pick up another one i'll try again :]

Dr Tanya Haj-Hassan, an intensive care paediatrician who recently returned from Gaza, responded on Sky News to claims that the al-Shifa siege was to target Hamas.

“I am just shocked that we’re still having this conversation. They executed tens of people, point blank, including one of our colleagues, Dr. Ahmad [Maqadmeh], who’s a very experienced plastic surgeon,” said Haj-Hassan.
