Why I like them

Her solos are some of the most mesmerizing parts of the show for me, and I would love to see them live. There's just this softness and grace about her that's very comforting.

Why I don’t

The entire 2019 Mr. Mistoffelees number was unbearably cringy for me as much as I like the film but particularly when she started singing. It was giving disney zombies....

Favorite episode (scene if movie)

I have three.

One of my first favorite scene is actually from Warsaw where she's dancing with the stars. It really goes back to her connection to the moon that nobody else seems to have.

Alternatively, I love this scene where Jemima wants to approach Grizabella and brings Victoria along with her, and Victoria hesitantly looks back but decides to go along with Jem. They both scatter off when Jenny forbids them from touching Grizabella but I love how it nods back to how they're two half's of a hole.

And of course, one of the softest parts in the show for me and in my opinion one of Victoria's best moments.

Favorite season/movie

I Like Victoria in all versions of cats' media!! even when she's less prominent like in shiki. But for favorites I'll say standard version, 2019 film and broadway revival.

Favorite line

We're doing 2019 for this since Victoria doesn't have any solo lines.

I know a lot of people don't like this song and the criticisms for it and Victoria's character are fair, but I do think this sort of naive condescend-Iness works as a flaw for her. She doesn't mean harm, she want's to cheer up Grizabella and show that they're similar but ends up making Grizabella still feel isolated just like the jellicles.

I've grown to like the white / gold Victoria costume quite a bit but here's some designs I'm fond of:

Ah, ok so I've been convinced a little but don't be mad please. 2019 verse and standard stage verse is with Rumpleteazer but revival verse is with Plato. I don't why or how that happened either but yea I hope that makes sense.

Mistoffelees recently, but mostly with Jemima. Again, two halves of a whole.

Head Canon

She worries a lot about injuries since she's aware about how delicate bones are and how a significant injury could hinder her dancing. So, she tends to watch her surroundings and positing more carefully than others.

Unpopular opinion

Hypothetically, I wouldn't mind if more non-reps went the warsaw/shiki route and didn't have Vitoria do a pas de deux but instead had a different solo involving the stars/moon.

A wish

More non-replica's to go all out with her design. Really emphasize the ballerina part of her look.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen

probably losing her connection to the Jellicle moon, if she can't feel it at all she'll probably panic and assume something's wrong. If you want to look at it from a monochromatic sibling's angle, then she would've lost the one thing that made her "special" in comparison to her brother.

Literally the only ME NPC I know is Miranda (thanks Awkward Zombie) so asking her for the ask meme!

how i feel about this character: oh god i have such mixed feelings about her as a character, and i think a lot of that is chalked up to how she was clearly written as a kind of defrosting ice queen for male gamers. she is framed like a sexy lamp a lot of the time and so many aspects of her design were made that way because the devs needed her to be eye candy, like to this day there's people who insist the gratuitous ass shots were necessary. and it's such a fucking shame because she has so many interesting aspects about her as a character that were never explored (especially in 3, she should've been a companion so her growth was more noticeable), and there are certain parts of her story i really love. her relationship with oriana in particular, love me some good familial angst and drama where one sibling is desperate to protect the other. her storyline with her abusive father has the makings of something astounding, because she was born solely to be part of a legacy and it's heavily implied she was cast aside because she's infertile so she can't be that legacy for him. like i'm not wild about how her infertility was handled (especially since she doesn't tell you herself, you find out via a shadow broker dossier without her consent) but whatever. idk miranda is one of those characters i'm fine with, but i can tell she could've been so much more if a bunch of straight cis men hadn't been writing her in 2010.

all the characters i ship romantically with this character: i like the idea of jack and her together in the abstract, but i have yet to find any fic that actually writes them in a way i find believable. idk who else i'd ship her with though.

my non-romantic otp with this character: love her relationship with oriana

my unpopular opinion about this character: oh god uh... she's really flat in the games as far as growth goes. people talk about her growth all the time and it feels more like they see the inklings of what was clearly *intended* by the devs but wasn't actually fleshed out because of time constraints.

one thing i wish had happened with this character in canon: i think she should have been a companion in 3. the entire plot line with her sister feels like a personal quest to me, especially the mission on horizon. that mission reminded me more of something like grissom academy than it felt like a true priority mission. idk why they didn't make her a companion but it feels like a misses opportunity

my otp: don't have one

my cross over ship: i don't really do crossover ships so

a headcanon fact: i don't actually have many headcanons for miranda... but i do have a fic idea where she helps shepard take out cerberus following 3 with jack and kaidan. i think that'd be something she could do after the conclusion of the games.

How I feel about this character: My journey with Dany is interesting. When I first read the books, I was far more invested in Cersei and Sansa’s queen narratives and felt ambivalent towards her, even though I vividly remember stanning her breaking free of Viserys when I watched the show. The way George wrote the Dothraki and the way GoT depicted the Mhysa scene made me associate her with white savior-ism through no fault of her own. I saw the writing on the wall when Season 8 was airing and had the feeling she was going to be fucked over, which made me re-evaluate the character and start rooting for her out of spite. The moment Mad Queen Dany hit our screens, the real Dany became a favorite and I re-read her chapters to get a better sense of who she is. I love her deep sense of justice and how she wrestles with her doubts; her journey is packed full of impossible choices and she handles them with a great deal of grace. Meereen SLAPS and I won’t hear anyone say otherwise! We stan our local social justice warlord always.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Dany x any woman, basically. Doreah and Irri are underwritten but I see the potential, and I think it would change the fantasy genre forever if ‘ice and fire’ referred to her and Sansa hooking up before the end of the world instead of Jon Snuh. Her and Asha/Yara would be good for that top notch sky/sea, dragon/kraken contrast. But Daario drinks his respect khaleesi juice so he can stay (for now).

My non-romantic OTP for this character: SER BARRISTAN SELMY. My favorite of her advisors, he’s ride or die and a delightful old man and thus we stan.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Even though I’m sure George will do a bang-up job writing Jonerys and getting us invested in them as a couple, I can’t see it as anything but cliche that the main teen male protagonist and the main teen female protagonist are going to be endgame despite not knowing each other for most of their pagetime. This would never happen between two characters of the same gender and I’m a bit salty! Just a tad. My unpopular opinion among redditors is that I don’t think Dany is dark or even grey and my unpopular opinion among her defense league is that I think dark!Dany is super hot and worth exploring because it’s sexy to me, personally.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish George wouldn’t frame Dany’s bisexuality as ‘something sexy that happens when men aren’t available’ :/

Also, I want her to live!!!!!!! Let anyone else sacrifice themselves, she’s already given sososo much to the cause of bettering humanity that her flying into a horde of ice zombies at the climax wouldn’t hold further meaning for me.

I'm sorry if this is long but it's necessary so that you can jump straight into writing with me even if Emma is nearly an oc or a stranger to your muses - and because I'm not English and want to be sure it's all clear. I've been writing for eight years and I'm known to be chill and accommodating but I am also extremely aware of what my preferences and comfort zones are so please read the rules.

My name is Ele, I'm 31, cis woman, super friendly, slow because chronically ill especially when it comes to ooc chat which require too much energy and focus from me, so while I love plotting and commenting threads don't expect ooc chats to be a priority if they aren't fully about the threads. This blog has sideblogs: 'monsterinamusicbox', sosadandyetsoamazing, musesonawhim, and more might come.

This is an AU Blog so you don't really need to have seen OUAT because this is NOT canon Emma Swan, there is no Storybrooke, and the princess Emma who remembers what was meant to happen in OUAT will let you know everything that you missed; so you'll need to read Emma's bio, either her AU enchanted forest backstory OR the backstory from our world which can fit Marvel, DC and other shows, depending on which character you play (it's awkward to realize the other person has no idea of what I'm writing, like I said, this won't be Emma Swan even in our world, she's been raised by her parents).

There is another backstory for non Enchanted Forest crossovers that doesn't have an abusive ex in it, check it out if the original one is triggering for you. You can request it, no explanation needed.

WHO I RP WITH

I’m mutuals only and selective. If I don't follow you and you try to rp I'll ignore you, because I get anxious about saying no. If curious you can find reasons why I didn't follow you back here. Memes and opens have no expiration date. Untagged nsfw = I unfollow. Some shows I prefer not to interact with because I don't know them or aren't into some of their themes: vampire diaries, teen wolf, riverdale, gossip girls and any zombie/demons show outside of IZombie, Lucifer and Buffy/Angel.

Between asterisks it's what only people who write ouat characters need to read, the rest is for everyone:

**If your character is involved in her backstory, you have every right to discuss details with me so you won't feel godmodded/forced to adapt to it! I will also change things connected to your ch, for example if I write with a Jefferson, Emma's bff will be Ariel and not Grace. I'd rather not interact with ocs that are supposed to be her siblings or children etc. Henry was never born so if you play Henry we should plot it out because my Emma can’t be pregnant as a kid or she will be a completely different character.**

In this blog due to backstory issues she would want Regina dead so I prefer NOT to interact nor come up with new aus in which she’s fine with it (I have 2 plotted exceptions and that’s enough for me), and same goes for people who are currently villains from any fandom, though in that case we can plot out exceptions in which they aren’t being villains; if they are a grey-area, aren't people who hurt her family, and if you are pro-redemption it's fine, if not Emma wouldn't submit to anyone or bother to chat, she will try to kill them or die, so no threads are really doable. She's also not the type to hang out/bother with characters who are rude to her or to insist if they want her to leave, or to support who keeps manipulating her, hurting people or doesn't seem to be helped by her presence at all but keeps coming to her with pain to share (the latter would get a therapist card). Basically: Killian Jones the way he was written in the show, or even a Rumplestiltskin who found Belle and chose to do better and so on are fine. Villains who will mistreat Emma, have hurt her family, or are currently hunting children for sport? Not good for Emma.

TRIGGERS AND WHAT I WON’T WRITE

Triggers will be tagged ‘name of the trigger tw’, you can always ask me to tag more AND tell me if something in her backstory makes you uncomfortable, so that I can find a solution (that issue is resolved/doesn't need to be mentioned) or tell you if it can't be skipped and you can choose not to write with me. I don’t write about miscarriage, toxic/abusive relationships and rape between my character and yours (temporarily evil due to magic/Dark One Emma being manipulative is fine, but rape is still a no). It’s not exactly a trigger but please tag your gore and body horror? The topic of hell is also complicate, I need you not to focus too much on torture and eternal damnation. And please, PLEASE, tag your daddy kink/mommy kink references ic and ooc.

MEMES

I’d rather get asks when you want to start a thread, reblog all the memes you want from me. I will reblog from the source or send you one if you prefer it that way but I don’t care if you reblog them from me.

ACTIVITY

Sometimes I'm fast, some I'm slow, but you can have as many threads with me as you want, take your time, reply as much as you want as long as you give me enough to write, drop threads, send memes or not. I like icons but I don't need them to write, you can stop using them whenever.

NSFW and relationships

NSFW of the smut kind will be tagged as such and usually put under read more. I don’t write smut with everyone, only with people I know ooc/feel comfortable writing it with. I love shipping but I DON'T FORCESHIP, FRIENDSHIPS ARE WELCOMED. My Emma is straight. I do not romantically ship her with Neal/Baelfire even in aus, in her dark witch verse he's a past love Emma Swan had. Happy to find out if a relationship works between my Emma and Killian (my nearly automatic otp if you don't write him darker than in canon), the Huntsman, AU Pinocchio, Jefferson, and more if there is chemistry, but friendship is open to any of them too. Here for crossover ships as well. I’d really appreciate if you could tag your Swan Queen and Swan Thief, thank you.

How I feel about this character

John is, I think, a lot more level headed than we give him credit for. He’s compassionate, he’s trusting to a fault, and he reacts with exasperation more often than with rage or disappointment. He is not my favourite character to ever exist, but

His friendship with Sam has a lot of past ground, and they’re genuinely supportive of each other and their dreams and goals. With Sam, he’s affectionate, he’s comfortable, its the “normal teenage friendship” he always wanted, and it’s healthy

He and Six are bros, hands down. They spar, they fight, and at the end of the day they can talk about almost anything, even her feelings for Sam, and they’ll be ok.

Nine is his right hand man, guy number one for John to turn to if he needs to hide a body, the “I’m with you until the zombies get me” kind of friendship.

My unpopular opinion about this character

John is not the “boring white guy” two dimensional ya protagonist with daddy issues. That would be Mark, if we had gotten stuck with him. While his relationship with Sarah is unhealthy, it was not inherently so, nor was it because John or Sarah individually. John put her on a pedestal, Sarah didn’t trust him, and they were teenagers! John was a good friend to Sarah, but a terrible boyfriend, and thems the facts.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I’d like it if Frey would admit he swapped out that Jadam scene with The Straight One (which John is Not).

Six

How I feel about this character

She is a queen, a goddess, and could fight me (and kick my ass) any day of the week. But seriously, I think she has a softer side to herself that we all ignore at times. She is gentle and she’s kind, just not in the same way that Marina is.

Sam, and to a lesser extent, Marina

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Her bro-ship with John? Priceless.

But I also think we forget her relationship with Adam a lot. They’re friends! They bantered back and forth for two whole books! The sessions when they roast other people are probably legendary to listen too, and I’d bet that Nine would kill to read the conversations where they drag him.

My unpopular opinion about this character

Not necessarily about this character, but Samix is a perfectly healthy ship. When Six tells him no, she’s not ready, he steps off. He’s not jealous of John, he’s not pushy towards her, he waits. When one of them needs support, they get it. They fight alongside each other and they’re affectionate and understanding of each other’s needs. If your only issue with this ship is that its straight, rest assured! They’re both bi as fuck.

AND ANOTHER THING. Six is not a stone cold iron walls kind of person. She wanted friends! She sook out human/loric contact! She enjoys having fun in other’s company and she can be soft. The only thing is, she’s a very goal oriented person, and that reflects in her interactions at times.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Six, dragging Adam by one ear and John by the other: You two are both coming back to civilization, you’re both taking showers, and we’re all having dinner with Malcolm and his wife before he grounds Sam and I end up having to go to high school!
