if it were like 2006 I’d start a blog where I review every romance novel that was originally published with a Fabio cover and then do rankings when I finished. I would get briefly mentioned in a New York Times lifestyle section article about blog culture. I would be the zoetica ebb of the midwest.

Chimeric Variable Mantle. Conceal, reveal, and stun with abandon – this polymorphous object’s limit is your imagination. Symbols and specimens from my Alien Botany series adorn your body and evolve into something of your own design. At nearly three metres of luxe, creaseproof chiffon, this might be the most extravagantly-proportioned scarf on Earth, guaranteed to impress the most discerning of interdimensional trend-setters. Shawl, dress, kimono, tapestry, sari, cape, sun cover… You decide.

@zoetica drew my dog Cyn as a Cosmonaut and I couldn’t be happier. She has a much better picture of it on her page.

Zoetica Ebb
Zoetica Ebb is interested in personal mythology, phantasmagoria, future language, and the pursuit of transcendence. She explores the indelible through fantasy flora, space delirium, and skin in her Alien Botany® project, scrutinising specimens of otherworldly plant-animal hybrids and their interactions with human hosts (some parasitic, others symbiotic).
Alien Botany is an ongoing multimedia concept series. So far, it includes hyper-detailed drawings, sculptures, and capsule fashion collections. This project is a consequence of a lifetime of experiences and passions, conceived at the intersection of Soviet space obsession, love of the compulsive detail and speculation in antique scientific illustration, and fascination with the beauty and horror of the natural world.
